      Taxrise may not be a scam, their business practices are dubious. After signing up, I was passed on to various representatives who seem uninformed about my case, and my portal was disabled with no resolution. Despite saving $1700, I paid Taxirise more and could have handled the resolution myself. The business practices seem suspicious, with possibly fake representative names and shared phone line and email. I am still trying to get a hold of someone, but have received no response.

      I had the opportunity to speak with Ms. *** today 8/1/24. She had the opportunity to share her experience with our company and dissatisfaction with our communication and the outcome of her resolution. I apologized for the communication issues our client encountered and attempted to explain why they may have occurred. I also explained why the process may have taken as long as it did as we need to file her taxes for the years that were unfiled in order to get her in compliance and start working towards her resolution. I am still in contact with Ms. *** and will be looking into what we can do for her out of client satisfaction keeping in mind that we did fulfill our contractual obligation of filing her taxes and getting her on the best resolution the *** would permit given her financial standing. Ms. *** informed me she would be reaching out at a later time so we can further discuss what can be done for her out of client satisfaction.

      This company is not legitimate tax compliance and they pretend to put on in IRS debt resolution to wipe out all IRS Tax debts. When in fact they are just there to pretend to be tax preparation w/ no CPAs in compliance to work on legitimate tax preparation nor put one in contact w/ IRS for their Free Debt Cancellation Program. They are just there to rob people of their $375 dollars. I have seen multiple complaints as of yesterday about this company and their fraud practices. I also told my bank to investigate and more importantly the ************** of ************** More and more Tax Fraud Companies are popping up and the public must be aware of these scammers. Lastly, I am going to my local ***************** and having their ************************* look into this fraud company to shut them down and put them out to pasture. What awful practices.

      ************************** had the opportunity to speak with a representative from our quality assurance department on 7/25/24. In there discussion Ms. ***************************** explained that she was not ready to use our services at this time. They also went over Ms. ********************************* concerns and eventually came to an agreement that we would offer her a partial refund of our retainer fee and keep her case on hold until she is ready to continue with our services. Per their conversation we consider this complaint resolved.

      On May 31, 2023 we signed a contract with tax rise to represent us with the *** for a resolution to obtain discount on due taxes, after a year and we paid $15,094.00, the only resolution Taxrise did was a payment plan, we did have a payment plan already when taxrise reached out to us. we did not contact Taxrise , they found us.Tax rise case number: Case ******* Case Manager: ************************* quality control supervisor: *********************************.Taxrise created a very complicate problem for us, now we have a Lien again our property, ************************* in a phone conversation that should have been recorded told us to stop payment to *** and that the interest and penalty when they reach a resolution will stop. all this was a lie. I have been trying to talk to ********************************* for a month, impossible. please stay away from Taxrise. I can't understand how after more than 500 bad complain again this business that continue ripping off people left and right, how there is not an investigation regarding all these complains?how can they charge ********* to do a payment plan. and now not even talk to me when I call.why they don't provide all the correspondence and recorded phone conversations where they advise us wrong and got us in such a terrible situation with the ***. why is Taxrise allow to continue doing such a terrible thing to people that are already in bad financial situation. we are requesting a refund to help us pay the Lien.

      It looks like our quality assurance representative has been trying to get in contact with Mr. and ********************************** on 7/10/24, 7/22/24 and today 7/26/24 for their scheduled appointment time in an attempt to resolve this matter. We have unfortunately been unable to reach them and have tried calling them at both numbers we have on file. A new ticket has been open with our quality assurance department and has been assigned to another representative, *******, who also tried to reach them today 7/26/24 with no answer. We have also sent them text messages and urge them to reach our quality assurance department as soon as possible.

      Called and spoke with Agent and was told that to go any further we would need to pay $375.00, so I paid it. I was told then I would receive a phone call to finish up in ***** minutes and discuss details of how the plan works. Never recieved a call until I called the company back a day later and 3 calls later. I was told in order to finish I needed to provide the name of my bank and I told them I did not want to give detailed information about my financial banking and they said in order to go forth they needed it. I said then we do not need to go through with this resolution and I would likey money back. The lady I was speaking with then told me she would have someone call me shortly and never recieved call.

      After reviewing ****************************** case it looks like we ran into some issues with processing her cancellation and refund request. ************************** had the opportunity to speak with a representative from our billing department on 7/23/24 and she was able to provide some clarity on ****************************** case and apologize for the delay and inconvenience she experienced. Our representative was able to process her refund of the retainer fee which should take 1-3 business days to show up on ****************************** account. Per their conversation we consider this complaint resolved.

      TaxRise didnt file appeals information in time resulting in irs collection efforts. i am seeking a full refund of fees paid

      After reviewing **************** case it looks like we tried to get him on an OIC (offer in compromise) resolution based on the fact that he is now unemployed and was receiving social security income. We needed specific documents from the client in order to prove to the *** that ************ qualified for an OIC and asked him to send them in. Unfortunately  we never received those documents and we missed the deadline to qualify for that resolution. We are now trying to put him in the next best resolution the *** will allow. I understand ************ is now asking for a refund of the service fees he has paid. I have opened a ticket with our quality assurance department so that they can discuss this matter with ************ directly and come to solution. ************ should expect a call from our QA department within the next 72 business hours.

      I spoke to a program advisor on July 9th. The agent ***** on a recorded line advised tax rise could most likely help with my tax situation with the *** he said to enroll me in the program I would have to pay 375$ up front and they would provide faster tax resolution. So today on July 17th, I was asked to make an appointment with **** who would go over my tax issue and recommend the resolution. After some research ***** realized that I owed less money to the ***, but said it would be ***** for a resolution to be mixed. I explained to him that the agent that signed me up for the program stated I would only pay 375$ and i wasn't prepared to pay that kinda money. I then asked ***** if the fee could be returned since we didn't move forward he did his best but the supervisor refused to help me. So now I am further in debt, no assistance with my tax matter, & lies about you're fees and the actual cost. This has a caused more confusion and just been a complete nightmare. I would like a refund and an apology for this reckless and dishonest expirence.

      I was able to locate ******************** case and see that he was able to speak with two of our representatives on 7/17/24. They informed ******************** retainer was non refundable and **************** informed us he wanted us to keep his case open for at least 30 days until we were able to follow up with him. I understand **************** was not aware of the remaining resolution fees that were added to his account. I tried to reach **************** today 7/23/24 and was unable to reach him. If he still wishes to continue our services and follow-up with us in 30 days like he asked then we will consider this complaint resolved. If **************** does not want to continue with our services per his discussion I urge him to reach out to me as soon as possible at the number I called him from or the email address I used to message him so that we can resolve this matter accordingly.

      I was told I needed to pay $500 to help me resolve my tax balances from the past and they would be the mediator between me and the ***** Paperwork would be taken care of and communication to keep a good standing with the *** to get into a program and set up payments to stop the *** from levying my bank account / liens and collecting more interest to pay . Then after they said I need to pay them $2,700 for them to make anything happen after they took my $500 . Im a single mom with a W2 that owns no business or self employed and in the poverty income guideline . I was given an empty promise and believe I should be refunded because nothing has been filed on there part to change my situation to the ***** The *** told me that these third partys cannot change anything for me or negotiate with the ***** Please I need this money back because in the end its false hope and promises from this company . There literally has been nothing done .

      It looks like one of our representative has tried to reach ********************** on 7/19/24 to go over her case and go over our process again but was unable to reach her. The initial fee Ms. ********* paid is for is a standard retainer to allow us to perform a comprehensive analysis and take her on as a client. Our representative, *****, has provided their contact information via voice mail and will try and reach Ms. ********* again but we ask that she please reach out to us directly as soon as possible so that we can resolve this matter accordingly.

      My fianc called tax rise on solely getting information on a tax debt that I have and they told her (pressured her) that she needed to give a credit card number and she did but told them not to do anything until she got in contact with me and see if thats what I wanted but taxrise went ahead and charged her $375.00 without her permission and put my name as an electronic signature that is fraud I have never spoken to this company and I want my fianc money returned she is disabled and she cant afford being taken for $375.00 please help thank you

      One of our representatives was able to speak with ************** today 7/17/24 in regards to his cancellation request. Our representative explained that typically he would not qualify for a refund due to breaking the terms of his agreement and falling outside the refund policy window. Out of client satisfaction we offered to refund ****************** retainer fee via mailed check. Per his conversation with our representative we consider this complaint resolved.

      Taxrise assured me that the amount I owe to the irs would be significantly reduced, with no penalties and a much shorter payoff date. I paid them a lot of money for their expert negotiation skills. The "resolution" is zero dollars adjusted from my balance, a *much* higher payment plan per month than my original agreement with the irs, and now I'm also out all the money I paid to Taxrise that could have gone to my irs bill. They do not provide the service they offer.

      I was able to locate ********************** case and see that we were able to put her in the resolution that will provide her with the most savings and keep her our of collections. Based on your case notes it looks like you were previously on an installment agreement and defaulted before we took you on as a client. I understand she may be unsatisfied with the Installment Agreement we negotiated with *** but we check our clients eligibility for all of the resolutions offered by the *** fresh start program. Your eligibility and payment amount is based on your current financial standing including disposable income, assets, equity and what the *** is willing to accept based on that information. The *** does not view credit card expenses or personal loans as part of your expenses and does not take that into consideration when determining what you are eligible for. We use all the financial documents provided by our clients to create your financial profile and check what resolution the *** will allow you to enter and negotiate monthly payment amounts when needed. I do see in your case notes that your disposable income has changed so you may be eligible for a redetermination. I have opened a ticket with our **************************** and representative will be reaching out to you within the next 72 business hours to discuss your case with you.

      I paid them close to ******* to handle my taxes. They did NOTHING. I call their customer service and they dont speak English or dont know what to do. I have had numerous onboarding conversations but I keep getting kicked back to please complete onboarding automatic email responses. That ask me to login in and Im unable to log in. The lawyer I was told was handling my case in the beginning doesnt respond. His name is *********************.

      I was able to locate Ms. ************ case and see she had the opportunity to speak with our **************************** on 7/15/24. Our representative was able to provide some clarity on **************************** case and address her concerns. He was able to explain that while we were able to pull her tax transcripts and get verbal confirmation of her finances and assets initially we still need additional financial documentation to assess and build her financial profile in order to prove to the *** that she qualifies for a particular tax resolution program. Our representative has put in a request to change **************************** case manager and the next steps that need to be taken to move her case forward. Our representative will be following up with ************************ and has also provided her with his calendar if she would like to schedule another appointment. Now that we have provided clarity on and are moving forward with **************************** case we consider this matter resolved.
