I reached out to TRA thinking they were seriously trying to help me. I paid about $600 so they can start their investigation with the irs with my case. They then asked me to pay $8500 so they can help reduce my $40k tax debt. They couldnt tell me how much they were going to save me. I decided to cancel the service and asked for a full refund. My refund of $600 was denied. And they are slow to respond. The rep they assigned me was very aggressive when talking to me. Theyre more like sales people than real consultants.beware of the company

I paid for the $2,500 retainer fee they broke it down in payments. Then they started me signed me up for a $3,800 loan to pay for thier services. I have been trying for months to get In touch with someone . They don't answer the phone. They do not return phone calls. I have left lots of messages. Still haven't heard back from anyone. I am stuck with this loan. I am not paying because of it. Now it is killing my credit and I can not do anything to get out of all this mess. I feel it is a fraudulent company . My next step is to hire a lawyer but what will that do other than cost me more money that I don't have. I need help and some kind of direction to put a stop to it.Tax Relief Advocates
