I was injured on the job back in August of 2022. Corvel was my ********* compensation company through my employer. I finally got back to work in October of 2023 and requested a payout from Corvel on 12/18/23 through my adjuster. ******** would just tell me she was working on it and to call back in 2 weeks. She eventually stopped answering my calls or returning my calls.I left numerous voicemails and eventually got her to return one on 4/12. This was a voicemail returned call from 4/2. She told me everything was being forwarded and I would be getting contacted by their attorney to get the offer and paperwork finished. Sure couldn't give me any info on the attorney or when they would contact me, just that it would be in May or June. After not hearing anything back from her, mid June I tried to contact her. Left numerous messages and never had a returned phone call from her. On 6/18 I called the corvel office and was able to be transferred to her immediate supervisor. She said that this should have been completed already since it has been 6 months since the initial request. She told me that she would escalate the issue to get in touch with the ********* compensation manager from my work. If no contact from her, call back in 2 weeks. Called the supervisor 7/2 and was told there has been no movement. She started their attorney is trying to write up the payout offer but they aren't getting any returned phone calls. She started they followed up twice last week with no response. She started if they don't hear anything back by end of week she would elevate it to the managers supervisor. It's been 6+ months with no movement. This entire process is like pulling teeth and they really need to be looked at. The most frustrating thing is the lack of consistent no contact, almost like they just hope you go away. You know if I owed then something, they would have gone about getting that immediately.

In May 2021, I was injured at my job Community Medical Centers in ******, **. I went through the entire process of filing a worker's comp claim and received a receipt of my DWC form from CorVel. After that, I never heard from them again. I never received payment, I had to use personal time for my injury, and they never helped with treatment.Since 2021, I have been calling and emailing this company without any response. This is ridiculous, that for two years, I have heard nothing and they have continued to not answer the phone. I have called every number posted for this CorVel and it leads to the same result. I am convinced no one actually works here. It is a shame that I can't just get what I need from them. An answer is all I need!

This is in regards to an auto property claim, which I believe has been handled outside of the normal and appropriate processing scope with the adjuster I was assigned, ******************* from CorVel. During the initial phone call we had, I was advised I would be receiving a check in the amount of $450 for the 9 days loss of use, since that's how long it took from the date of the accident (May 4th, 2023) until the date the company CorVel began handling the property claim (May 13th, 2023). Since the initial phone call, every correspondence has been handled through email, which at many times has been very unusual and unprofessional (Including my name being spelled incorrectly on the appraiser's estimate). My damaged vehicle was towed to a repair shop On Wednesday May 15th as instructed by adjuster, *******. During this time, I was asked numerous times for their contact information (though it was already provided). I was never issued the initial estimate amount or even offered the option, and I was advised that it was my responsibility to ensure the repair shop provided supplemental documentation before any payment would be issued. The process just to get the accident acknowledged through the City of Durham was tumultuously delayed (even with the police report). I was consistently given the run-around and negligently disregarded by the City of Durham's Liability Claims Analyst, ***********************. Now after Corvel began handling the property claim, the process has become even more difficult. After the initial phone call with the adjuster, I was later told my car was deemed "drivable" by the appraiser and urged to have my damaged vehicle moved into the repair shop. The vehicle was towed to the repair shop on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024. On the day of May 22nd, 2024, I was contacted by ***************, a claims supervisor, who advised me "we're not giving you four hundred fifty dollars".

I was injured back in Nov,2020 on the job and Corvel was the workers comp company. in October of 2021 I ended up getting my leg amputated do to the severity of this work related accident. Corvel is horrible ********************************* never responds to Corvels attorney or my attorney . Every time I need a new Prosthetic leg or equipment my attorney has to request a court date just to get a response. Corvel owes my Prothesis doctors office so much money I cant even get the equipment I currently need. Their attorney requested us to send a demand letter because my accident happened almost 4 years ago. Well they have yet to respond to that . I honestly think a federal case needs to be opened against them. They are messing with peoples lively hood because of all the games they play.

I was injured at work in September 2023, I have called repeatedly and sent emails and have got no response to any of them, my Dr ordered an MRI in November of 2023 and that still has not been approved. I've tried to get in touch with my adjuster, her boss, her boss and up the chain, nobody will return a call. They truly do not care about any of it. This is the worst company!

I was injured in the job on July 27, 2023 My company had me transported to the hospital by EMS. I was seen by ER doc and NP. I received staples to my scalp. I then followed up with my own doctor for staple removal and paid for out of my pocket. I had initially been contacted by a claims specialist immediately following incident. Once I got bills, I sent them to this person as instructed in Dec. 2023. I have sent multiple emails and talked with my HR **** and no one has returned my emails or paid all the bills related to this injury. I dont know what to do at this point but dont feel I should have to pay these bills since I was told by my company they would be covered. This makes no sense that it is so difficult to get I touch with a person at this company to help.

      Good afternoon.

I attempted to respond to this complaint regarding ********************

Mr. **** has been issued his wage payment.  The medical providers have been contacted and provided our billing information.  It appears they had processed the medical bills under his personal health insurance.  As soon as we receive these bills, they will be paid.  Any amount paid to the providers by Mr. ***** would need to be refunded by their offices.

I believe this will resolve ********* concerns.

      Thank you,
