I had fillings put in by this dental office in July 2022. During that procedure, I had a dental tool dropped into my mouth while laid back and also had the new filling dropped on the floor right before it was to be installed. Following the fillings procedure, it was near impossible to floss between two of the fillings where I might be able to get the floss to the gum line but I'm unable to get the floss back out without feeling like the filling will come with. I've had to resort to cutting the floss and pulling it out sideways as pulling backdown the way it first came isn't possible. I had a gut feeling prior to this appointment that I should probably go elsewhere for my dental work and that gut feeling has been proven correct. I have no changed dental offices due to a change in insurance and due to a lack of confidence with La Jolla Village Smiles Dentistry and Implants. I will have to have these fillings replaced just 4 months after they were initially put in. I will now have additional out of pocket expenses to fix this as well as more time taken away from work, resulting in less time with family. I paid out of picket $555 for this procedure and will now need to pay another $300-400 to have it fixed. I didn't contact this dental office to fix the issue given the broken trust in a quality result.
