      I am disabled and have a mal-fitting artificial leg. I went to a new prosthetist and (*********************) he attempted numerous times to fix it correctly. However he was inable to do so. As a result he charged me for a finished socket that was never completed and for cosmetic features that I didn't ask for. He is pressuring me to pay him or he is sending me to collections, and is charging me $2000.00 and it is not right. . This is hindering me at work and I've been put on leave and it's just my mom and myself.I need help from you please.

      We appreciate the opportunity to address the recent complaint filed with your organization regarding prosthetic services provided by our clinic.

      Upon reviewing the complaint, we want to provide additional context regarding the situation. The patient in question received and signed for all services provided to them, and they were informed of all co-insurances that were due at the time of completion. Despite our efforts to accommodate the patient's financial situation, including offering a payment plan, they have refused to cooperate and have explicitly stated that they will not pay the remaining amount owed.

      As a result, we find ourselves in a difficult position with limited options to recoup the outstanding balance that the patient was made aware of. We remain committed to resolving this matter amicably and are open to any reasonable solutions that ensure fair compensation for the services provided.

      We have already reached out to the patient directly to discuss their concerns further and explore potential resolutions. However, their refusal to engage in constructive dialogue has presented challenges in finding a mutually agreeable solution.
