    Scammers is all I can say. They tried to add a $1300 processing fee to buy my own leased vehicle. Telling me this was standard practice. When I mentioned this was not in the agreement and where was this fee disclosed they kept making excuses. Thank God I left without paying a dime as this fee was a scam.

    Ms. ***** ******* visited the dealership, where she successfully purchased her lease buyout. Additionally, we waived the lease buyout fee for her. We did right by her and Ms. ******* is completely satisfied with the outcome.

    What started as a good experience buying my first Hyundai at Laguna Niguel Hyundai December 28th, quickly turned into a nightmare the next day when I reached out to ************************* (in Finance) to cancel the gap insurance I had purchased. ****** had assured me I could cancel anytime.After ****** didnt respond to me, I reached out to him again, and he sent me a form to sign for the cancellation. I immediately signed and emailed it back to him December 30th.After a few days, I contacted them to assure the policy had been cancelled, and was told ****** had been transferred to their Cadillac Dealership.I then asked for whoever had taken his place to please call me back, I was told ***** took over, I never received a call from *****..after several more calls I decided to contact Hyundai Corporate. The representative from Corporate reached out to the Dealership, and never received a call back. Corporate eventually called me back and said the Dealership said theyd never received a cancellation request from me. I sent her a copy of the cancellation request dated Dec 30th that I had emailed *************************. So the policy I requested cancelled over a month ago, has never been cancelledI truly think that the Dealership thinks Ill just give up, and they wont have to refund my money.There is no way Id recommend **********************, or any other their other brands (Genesis, Cadillac, GMC) for that matter.they simply cannot be trusted. If ************************* in Finance had simply done his job, taken two minutes and submitted a form, and canceled the gap insurance policy as I requested, my experience would have been such a different oneHes either terribly incompetent, or flat out purposefully just not doing his jobI had read such good things about theLaguna Niguel ********** from when the ***** Family owned it..Unfortunately, I think its degraded greatlysince the new ownership (Lim Family) took over.Very sadI DO NOT recommend this Dealership

    I'd rate them with zero stars if I could. Laguna Niguel Hyundai (previously known as ***************** Hyundai) is a perfect example of why "Used Car Salesman" is synonymous with shady underhanded and dishonest. My wife and I purchased a Genesis GV80 in 2021. The car had 150 miles on it. The Salesman told me the car was new. Our paperwork said the car was new. We paid the sticker price. At the time, there was a shortage of new cars and the dealers weren't haggling. A large part of the sales pitch was the "Genesis ******************* After purchasing the vehicle, we tried to have the car serviced at the closest Genesis deal (******** **). We were told that we didn't get any of the new car perks like "Genesis ****************** because we bought a used car. The car was used as a courtesy car for the Genesis golf tournament. Our service contract was invalid. Laguna Niguel staff said we would have to take the car up to Laguna Niguel (one hour away) for service. Had we known this was a used car, we would have purchased a different vehicle. Very dishonest salesman.

    I placed a $1,000 deposit on a new 2023 hyundai tuscon hybrid SEL, estimated arrival was Feb 7th ( I was on vacation 3rd-6th) the care arrived on the 4th and was promptly sold when they could not reach me to pick up the car as I was on vacation. 1. They should have not sold the car without my concent as I placed a deposit on the car to reserve it for purchase. 2. They should have refunded my deposit immediately upon selling the car. Now it has been a week of trying to get my refund. After spending several days attemptng to get a refund, **** the sales manager stated they did process the refund and claimed to be looking at the recipt of the refund while over the phone. I asked to be sent the receipt over email (never got it) and the bank shows i also never recieved the refund. Now it is Feb. 16th and Sales managers "****" and "***" have been avoiding my calls, refusing to call me back after leaving multiple messages and I still have not recieved any refund. They refuse to admit they made a huge mistake and seem to be attmepting to hold my deposit as ****** of some sort. I feel like I have been robbed and recommned any and all consumers looking to buy a car to stay FAR AWAY from Hyundai / Genesis in Laguna Niguel.
