    I’ve been trying to get out of my timeshare for over 2 years at OBBC II, and it’s been a nightmare. What was promised as flexible and easy has turned into endless fees and frustration. The points system now costs an extra $4,400, and even after paying, I don’t have enough points to book what I want. Annual fees have skyrocketed from $280 to over $1,000, none of which were clearly explained at purchase. Worse, this debt will pass to my children. The company refuses to take it back, and attempts to sell have failed. This timeshare has become a financial and emotional burden. I just want out.

    My late husband and I went to a resort presentation, where we felt pressured into buying a timeshare. They assured us that reselling our existing timeshare would be a breeze and renting out the new unit would be no problem. Yet, none of those promises came true. Now, the resort tells me I have to manage the sale myself, instead of them taking it back, leaving me stuck with this burden. My husband faced declining health, including dementia, which made our dream of traveling in retirement impossible. Sadly, he passed away in August 2021. Without him, I find the timeshare not only impractical but also a massive financial strain. I've reached out to the resort, hoping they'd understand my situation and help, but I've been met with indifference. With everything paid off, I cant fathom why they won't cancel the ownership. I can't afford the maintenance fees anymore and have stopped paying them. I feel misled by false promises, and the stress is overwhelming in this tough time. I urgently need help to find a resolution.

    I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services I've received from this company. Regrettably, my experience has been marked by unfulfilled promises, a lack of communication, and a substantial financial loss.I entrusted this company with the task of selling my timeshare, for which I paid a lot of money. However, to my dismay, the transaction has not materialized, and I have not received any updates or communication regarding the status of the sale. Despite assurances and promises to recover money on my behalf, I have yet to witness any action on their part.Moreover, it is disconcerting to note that my account (Ad # ******* remains active in their system, and I have observed that this company continues to advertise without any progress on the promised services.I have meticulously documented these transactions on my credit card, further substantiating my claim. This situation has left me with no choice but to seek resolution through appropriate channels. I am formally filing a complaint and urging an investigation into this company's practices.I kindly request immediate action to rectify this matter, including a refund of the funds I invested in these services. Please advise on the necessary steps I should take and if any additional information is required from my end to expedite the resolution process.I believe in a fair and transparent business environment, and I trust that this company will address these concerns promptly and professionally. Failure to do so may compel me to explore legal avenues to protect my rights and interests.I appreciate your urgent attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution. This service was purchased in 2020, I just want this to be done and over with, give me my money back and stop scamming people. I would also like this company investigated for the scam they have committed and not following through with their services they advertise.

    We purchased with VRI over ten years ago. We have paid our mortgage, and our fees each year. When we purchased, we did not know we would end up in low quality accommodations, or that it would be so hard to find an actual time to use the timeshare.Our maintenance fees have gone from $1612 to $3292.42, with an additional special assessment in May of 2022 of $2292! It seems like the company is in financial trouble and is trying to collect extra fees from customers. The fees certainly arent going into the units to improve the accommodations.We have sent emails to two different departments within the company, in addition to emailing the board-with NO response. We just want information about returning our ownership. The timeshare lifestyle doesnt fit within our budget or our health concerns, yet no one will speak to us!We cant understand why a company would do business this way.

    I want everyone to know my dissatisfaction with ************** VRI and its services. I have been a customer of theirs for years and have paid my dues on time every year. However, I have not been able to use the property due to various reasons such as difficulty accessing the property and an inability to market it. I am dishearten that I continue to be ignored by VRI no matter how many letters I have sent certified.Due to these issues, I have made multiple attempts at contacting them but have yet to receive a response. Despite trying to reach out directly, they continue to ignore me and do not offer any assistance on resolving my issues. On top of that, I am currently living on a fixed income and due to the high cost of maintaining my timeshare, I cannot afford any further fees without receiving some form of compensation or refund from them.Therefore, I would like you to kindly review my case and provide assistance in returning the fees that I paid over the last three years and find some kind of resolution for this situation. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated as ************** VRI is becoming increasingly difficult for me to maintain.

    Do not fall for this scam. They will waste your time, and give you a "free" stay certificate. But when you try to book - you will be asked to pay above market price for the stay. No free cheese. worst scam ever.

    Do not buy a timeshare from VRI. I have owned a timeshare and paid on time fees that are exorbitant for maintenance to a New England resort for over ten years. I decided to rent my week and have not received funds yet and its been over 3 months and they say you get your rental fees within 30 days. The maintenance fees have gone up double in just ten years which have to be paid I full annually. I called their customer service number and they couldnt even get me and answer. Ive emailed vri customer service and the same. No response besides they are working on it.
