I had been experiencing a mice problem and had dealt with a couple of Pest Control Companies: FastAction(of which I filed a complaint against. Another Company( whom pointed out the problems with FastAction work, without charge) and then Clark, who I feel took advantage of a dire situation and now 4 months and $6000 later my the problem still exist. Namely Clarks solution/advice was to perform more exclusion work; get rid of the attic insulation, disinfect the attic(to rid the scent or pheromones ) and re-insulate. I should have known it was a bad deal, when the invoice I received stated termite work and I had to pull teeth to get an invoice that stated the work from the initial quote! The last Pest Control Company I dealt with, Orkin, March 2022 gave me a refund because they could not perform the attic or wall work(which they too advertise). I am now working with a ***************** who within 1 hour found a couple of entry points into the attic. And whom also will not accept final payment until the problem is solved! I want Clark to either redo their work or return my $6000. If I do not reach some type of agreement I will consider filing a small claims case: I am sick of Companies taking Consumers money without any regards to the service(s) they allegedly provide

In November 2021, ******************** contacted Clark for assistance with a rodent issue at her property in **********. Prior to contacting Clark, ******************** had contracted another company to perform rodent exclusion work. Clark performed an inspection of the property, and the customer was given a quote for attic insulation. At this time, there were a few rodent entry points that were observed. Because of the small amount of exclusion needed, as a courtesy, Clark did not charge the customer for these services and only for the attic insulation. The attic insulation work was completed in December 2021.

All work completed was of high quality and up to Clark standards. After the work was completed, ********************* informed us that she was still hearing noises in her bathroom. To ensure that we were addressing the issue, the department manager and inspector installed traps and a camera in her attic for a week. There was no evidence found of rodents on the camera footage or the traps. ********************* said she was still hearing noises in her bathroom,so an additional camera was used to inspect all of the bathroom walls. No evidence of rodents were found in the wall voids.

Clark Pest Control prides itself on exceeding customer expectations in an ethical, professional, responsive, and caring manner. We have provided ******************** with high quality service and performed all work needed. No additional work or refund will be provided at this time, as the customers pest issue was properly addressed.

I am rejecting this response because:The problem with rodents  entering via the attic still persisted for Clark never sealed an opening inside the Attic as they stated they did or would. And too no disinfectant was applied prior to reinstalling the insulation as noted in scope of work. I dont care whether they allegedly did not charge me as a courtesy they got the bid for the insulation based on providing rodent exclusion. This was a bait and switch attic; even the Company I had hired for the insulation stated Clark was not in the insulation business. However Clark ensured me they were and when I received the final invoice it merely stated a dollar figure and for Termite Inspection! I never hired them for termites I hired them for rodent infestation. It is obvious they never performed any exclusion work, regardless of who came before them. The problem still existed because they did not perform the exclusion work noted in the scope sheet. I have taken this up with the pest control board as well. I did not hit e Clark for termites I hired them for the work to be performed on the scope sheet, period. If they think because they did a bait and switch and stated they would perform the exclusion work as a courtesy and not perform it at all, that I would be ok with this, then they are mistaken. I clearly stated(in the email) the only way they would get the insulation job is to perform the exclusion work. I will not sit by and let them bamboozle me. Clark knows what they did and didnt do, thus the fraudulent, vague and irrelevant final invoice. They refused to send me an itemized invoice of work performed; and because of Clark failed to seal the attic the problem persisted for months! So yes, I wholeheartedly reject their response. I will await a response from the Pest Control Board and move forward from there

I purchased a reoccurring service with ******* **** Control. The pest killing chemicals that they sprayed on my property caused my dog to develop cancer and die. I cannot prove this obviously but I and my family believe this to be true. I told ******* this and they had no problem canceling my service (for convenience) likely b/c they did not want to go down the path of asking for more money after (allegedly) killing my dog. They were ok to deal with all and all. THEN Clark **** acquired ******.... NOW they (meaning CLARK) tell me I need to PAY to get out the contract that has already been reconciled. Although my dog is still dead. They keep sending me bills for $150 and have even threatened collections and legal recourse. I might add that I have talked to the district manager and their A/P department and all have said that I will no longer get billed BUT they keep sending demanding letters. Are they taking me to court or am I? They killed my dog and want money. They said I was out of the contract. Then they threaten legal action??? Give me a break. I am NOT saying they are frauds BUT the actions they have taken against me are VERY FRAUDULENT. Lastly, I do have evidence of this fraudulent behavior so if anyone from Clarks would like to contact me please do.

In May of 2021, I hired Clark Pest Control to treat my house, inside and out, to eradicate roaches and other pests. The fee was $138 for that service. On or around June 2, 2021, a technician from Clark arrived and treated the outside perimeter of the house, but for the inside, he placed bait in certain areas of the house and explained he would have to return the following week to finish the job. He explained that I needed to remove everything from the lower kitchen cabinets, and he gave me a date the following week for his return. At that first visit, I paid him for the job ($138) and also signed for bimonthly maintenance. Our technician never returned. In July, $48 was charged to my card for one-half of the bimonthly maintenance fee.. I let that go through, because I figured when the technician arrives the following month, I would have him finish the original job. In August, on the 31st, I arrived at home to find an invoice on my door for an additional $48,and when I checked my credit card, the $48 had been withdrawn. I placed a dispute on the credit card for that $48, which was then credited back to my card. Then a rep from Clark called asking me to pay the $48. He also said that if I wanted to know the exact day and time range a technician would come, I had to pay an additional $30 bimonthly fee for that. I refused and told him he could send a tech to finish the first job that I paid the $138 for, and then, the following month when a tech came and did his job, I would pay the $48 balance. He said he would call me that Friday if the office approved it. He never called me, so I cancelled the service call, and protested with my credit card company the first installment of $48, and one-half of the original $138 fee ($69). About a month after I did that, I received a call from a woman named ******. She requested payment, and I offered the same terms for full payment. She said she would call back after approval. She never did. Now they gave it to a collection agency.

On 7/30/2021, Clark performed the regular recurring service at ******************** property. On 8/10/2021 and 8/27/2021, Clark received a chargeback from ******************** credit card company indicating that the customer was requesting that the payment be reversed.  On 10/5/2021 ******************** indicated he was willing to the $69 charge that was reversed by his credit card company if we came out and serviced the interior of his property. He was not in communication with Clark after this date to schedule the service. The balance of $117.00 on the account was sent to collections on 10/25/2021.

House infested with black and white flesh-eating bugs. Clark Pest Control was contacted, examined areas, set traps. returned 3 days later; nothing trapped. I collected samples and gave to salesman. They treated the house with the 3-day fogging. Continued infestation. One bedroom treated with misting. Continued infestation. $2500 paid. Continued infestation, causing numerous bites. A bite and burrowed bug in skin caused large cellulitis infection, resulting in L eye swollen shut, requiring admission to hospital. ICU bed suggested because of underlying diagnoses. Mid August: bugs continuing to bite and burrow nightly, numerous open areas. I am diabetic with Non- Hodgskin's Lymphoma and Leukemia. They failed to resolve. My life continues to be in danger of sepsis and death.

In September of 2020, Mr. ****** contacted Clark Pest Control for a Bedbug issue that he was experiencing at his property in Atwater. Fumigation treatment was performed at the property on12/10/2020. On 12/26/2020, Mr. ****** notified Clark that he was still experiencing issues with bedbugs. Clark returned to the property on 12/28/2020 to perform an inspection and did not find live activity of bedbugs or any other insects. Additional courtesy services were done on 12/31/2020, 01/25/2021 and 1/28/2021. Monitors were placed and checked during these services and a fog treatment was done to treat for mites. At this time, Mr. ****** continued to state he had issues with bedbug activity, however, no live activity was found.

On 01/28/2021 Mr. Noman provided us with a sample that could not be identified by Clark. This sample was sent to the Merced County Agricultural Commissioner’s office for identification. On 02/01/2021, the County Ag Commissioner advised that there was no pest found in the sample provided.
