8/11/23 - Prescribed Semaglutide for medical weight loss. Paid $399 and was told the dissolvible tablet was in place of injections as injections are not allowed in **********. Was advised they were just as effective. After 2 weeks of not losing any weight, I reached out to the weight loss center. The receptionist left a note for the nurse to call me back, but she did tell me I was wasting my time and money as they don't work. The nurse finally returned my call after leaving 3 messages within 4 days. The nurse advised me that I was actually taking vitamin B12 and although I'm not losing weight, they're good for me. I would never pay $399 for something I can purchase over the counter for $10. I asked for money back and was told no. I also learned there is no such thing as Semiglutide in pill form. Please let me know what can be done about this. I don't have $399 to just burn on scams like this.
