    We have been trying for over a year to get our money back from a trip cancelled due to Covid in 2020. We tried to use the Qantas pass when taking a trip to ********* 4/23. After 8 representatives could not get the pass and credit card to go through to rebook, we were told they would just refund the money to our credit card and we would have to book a new flight, which we did with American Airlines. We still have not received our refund after calling and talking with about three more reps and talking to the Reservations team 13 13 13?? Very upsetting.

    We purchased tickets to fly from ************** to *********, ********* with the layover in ******, **. The domestic part (WAS to ******) was supposed to be done for Qantas by ******** Airlines. AA had our ticket numbers in their system, but no itinerary attached to it. They told us to call Qantas, we did, Qantas said everything is good on their side. Also, they had no visibility of what AA sees on its screen, nor did they have their representative on site. As a result we couldn't fly. Qantas initially agreed to reimburse our expenses, but so far it didn't. I find this set up unacceptable. Either they should see the same thing AA sees or they should have someone on site to resolve these problems. And definitely they have to return our money.Don't fly Qantas in ***.I gave them 1 out of 5 stars because I can't give 0 stars.

    Always delayed flights. This time pilot was over his hours. Duh you didnt know this when you Loaded us then fifteens minutes later said hes over hours. Really!!!!!! You didnt know this was gonna happen. We couldve stay in the airport had a nice meal but no. They load us and immediately say our pilots over his hours and we have to wait for another. It took almost two hours to get another pilot. Why not keep us at the airport. Which by the way you should be ****** because you lost out on food and drinks. The airline wont serve you s*** while youre waiting for almost two hours. F*** you American Airlines. Never flying you again and telling everyone that will listen on every social media source I can find. Leave us at the airport so we can eat and drink you a*******

    Bought tickets for a vacation in *********/ I fell and broke my leg and I contacted Qantas and first was told I could get a full refund - never received, called them back sent the dr ********* and they said all I could get back was the taxes it is now almost three months later and no refunds given I would never book With them again

    They are the only company that could afford not to refund canceled flights due to covid. Waited 2 years for resolution, as the tickets were purchased through 3rd party. As it was multi-airline trip i thought it is normal, thought the other line refunded me almost immediately after couple of months. And last december i got an email stating Qantas were denying refund. Well not surprised and i will never fly with them. Also will make sure any friends and clients would avoid them!!!

    Qantas sells airfares that are "fully flexible" with the promise that you can change at any time and just pay the fare difference. However, when it comes time to change they won't allow you to do it online and the only way to contact them is a phone number that doesn't always work (I got an error message of "invalid number" for over a week). After waiting on the phone for at least 1.5 hours, the people you speak to can't actually even tell you the airfare difference - they have to call NZ or South Africa. The fare difference in my case was for me to pay over 50% of the original fare. They don't tell you the fare conditions in your original booking email, so there is no way to know what the rules were when you paid for your fare. Fully flexible airfares are "non-refundable", but you are supposed to be able to get a flight voucher/credit. I eventually cancelled my flights, but I got no email confirmation of the cancellation and no flight voucher. So not use Qantas.
