My husband and I took our senior cat to a dental appointment in **********. They charged us $600 for the appointment with blood work. During the appointment, the veterinary was unable to look at our cats teeth, so she scheduled a surgery and **rays to also remove any teeth if necessary. The day of the surgery comes, they take our cat in and perform the **rays. They start the procedure, and later we receive a call saying that she has been under the anesthesia for too long, and they decided to split up the procedure into two appointments due to the extensive work that needed to be performed. At the end of the day, we receive a bill of $2400. We were a bit shocked but still payed the bill, since the veterinary CONFIRMED that would cover both appointments and we understand that she was unable to look at our cats teeth at first. We schedule the second appointment to complete the procedure. The day before the appointment comes and I receive another bill of $1600 for the procedure. I immediately call them, the receptionist says shes going to talk to the veterinary. They send me another bill of $1200. I call them and inform them again that this isnt about the bill being lowered, we already payed in full for the procedure. She keeps on claiming that there were some removals that they didnt charge for. They send us a final bill of $900. I refuse to go through with the procedure. Our cats teeth still need work, but I refuse to pay more than what we agreed upon. Their prices changes seem completely arbitrary, and there is no transparency while communicating with customers.
