West Lake Portfolio Managment (WPM) collection acquired my car loan ******************** Initially ************** was accepting the autopay and forwarding it to WPM. WPM have been charging late fees though the payment was on time to the original creditors. Furthermore, my payment is due in the 11th of each month. My original bank, the contract I signed, offers a grace period WPM does not! I just inquired as to why my balance isn't going down the rep informed me I am being charged a daily compound rate of $1.54/day past the 11th. These are not my terms I agreed to. WPM is treating these car loans like collection accounts and they are not.Business response

******** ** ******** - They are reporting inaccurate information on my consumer credit report. I already sent Investigation to all bureaus and other company deleted it but experian didnt. XX-XX-XX- I sent them a letter regarding the account that was reported on my report and advised any documentation that can verify that the information was accurate. XX-XX-XX-I havent receive any response nor documentation so I sent letter to collection company and credit bureaus requesting a second debt validation. XX-XX-XX- On this date still did not receive any response so Its clear that they cant properly validate the debt they claim I owe. I sent them they need to remove the inaccurate information on my account or I will seek legal options with my attorney and ask help for cfpb and bbb.Business response

I have purchased a new vehicle financed by a different company. WPM was called and asked the pay off quote. They were sent a check by the new finance company. I am receiving notices of ****** owed. I contacted them but they didn't want to remove the charges and close the account on good standing. I wasn't too surprised by the non action with the poor word of mouth reputation this company has with situations like this.Business response
