I started working for Inhance Digital in January of this year and was asked to work on specific business development tactics and verticals (which were outside of my scope of work) for the company on top of my Senior Producing position. This primarily included attending themed entertainment functions and networking events with my connections; people Inhance wants to know. I was informed that expenses for these things would be covered by the company if I saved receipts and turned in an expense report within 6 months of attending said events. I attended my first event in March. At the beginning of July I left the expense reports and original receipts on the desk of the COO, who was my boss. She was out of town at the time. I took pictures of the receipts and of course have them on bank statements as well. They totaled around $850 including mileage. For a variety of reasons, I quit, effective immediately, on July 19 and picked up my belongings from the office on July 20 around 1pm. I was not allowed in the office and the COO decided to have the custodian and IT pack my things and bring them down to me, after the COO and CEO went through all my personal belongings in my office to ensure I "wasn't stealing" from them. In my resignation email I called out the expense reports. I then received a docusign requesting my signature on a separation agreement; I responded saying I'd gladly sign it if they included language regarding my expenses that I'm owed. The COO informed me the document was "only informational" and I didn't need to sign it if I chose not to. Two days later the docusign was voided with the reason being that our "separation was complete". On July 21 I received my final paycheck via direct deposit. I know from my experience working there that previously reimbursement checks have been sent via mail so I waited and have still yet to receive anything.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/17) */ Former employee offered to attend certain events that she was interested in going to and that she had been attending for many years prior. She also had personal memberships to organizations that were sponsoring events she chose to attend. She attended one tradeshow event with Inhance- which she was the assigned Senior Producer for. Former Employee's expense reports were submitted on the very same day she resigned. Inhance Digital has a detailed Travel and Expense Reimbursement Policy that clearly states our policies and procedures regarding travel for business and reimbursement of expenses. This document is distributed to all employees and readily available in multiple locations on our network for employee review. No one at Inhance has EVER accused the former employee of stealing. Our facilities manager followed security procedure of discreetly packaging personal effects and transferring to former employee at the door for ease of transition. Former employee was immediately supplied with all legally required separation documents on the day of her resignation (July 19). It is employee's option to decline signing offboarding/separation documents (which never happens). After she declined to sign her offboarding and separation documentation, the document was "voided" in our DocuSign software and saved to her employee file. Inhance process for review/reimbursement of expense reports can take up to 30 days (or longer). Inhance never pays reimbursements via email or online. Former employee previously received a reimbursement payment from Inhance and should be familiar with our policies and procedures. Inhance finance department reviewed/ processed expense reports referred to by former employee in her complaint. Reimbursement check has been issued and mailed already. It's clear that former employee is using this platform in an attempt to discredit Inhance while intentionally misstating facts.
