    I was a host of an online network and not making money. After being billed Febuary 28th, 2025 for another month, I signed in and was unable as the host to delete or deactivate my account. So I went through all the steps to downgrade to the free plan, getting a confirmation message saying I was on the free plan. One month later, on March 28th, I was billed $119 for the plan I had tried to down grade from. I have since had to do some deep internet scouring to learn how to delete my whole network and am hopeful that this will finally stop me being charged, but does not refund the 119 dollars I was not planning in my budget.

    I cancelled my subscription with them through the app I was using and they still charged me $150.00. I ama single mom of 5 small boys, I have a funeral to attend out of state the end of this week and its the holdiay season. I do not have $150 to spare for services that I havent even used for the entire year prior. I have reached out to them via email as thats the only way you can contact them but no one responds.

    I participated in a 30 day blog challenge with Mighty Networks and when signing up was advised that the program was free. However they requested my credit card number. After the challenge, I realized I was receiving a monthly charge of $39.99. I tried to close my account and reached out to customer service and am getting no reply. They are continuing to charge me monthly and I'm afraid my only option now is to report my credit card stolen which is a significant inconvenience for me and my family.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/24) */ The complainant was a member of a community hosted on our platform, Mighty Networks. No money was taken via Mighty Networks. The hosts of this community, who are responsible for refunds to their members per Mighty Networks terms of service, did not take payment for their community on our platform. Our community Hosts have the option to take payments off-platform, as this particular Host did. To reiterate, no money was taken in this case using our platform and we have no visibility into the complainant's payments since they were processed off Mighty Networks. We hope this clarifies the situation, and members are always welcome to reach out for any questions.

    I signed up for a program run by this network called unhindered voice. I signed up for a free trial, but was not aware that my debit card would get charged automatically. I thought i had to go to the website to sign up for the year. I went to the website one time, and decided I don't want to use the program, but they charged my debit card automatically. I fell ill with Covid and realized they made multiple attempts to get the money. I'm willing to take some responsibility. I will pay for a month even though I didn't use the site. The membership was for a year, so I was charged almost $400. I've only been signed up since July 27th, according to an email from ******. I'm willing to pay for a month, but I was charged for a year, and they refuse to refund my money. They also refuse to cancel my membership, so they don't have to refund my money. I can't get anyone on the phone as well. I just want my money back. I do not want to pay for something I do not want.

All refund requests would be determined by our Networks as they operate as their own business. We have recurring billing and the team at***************** did offer this customer their refund after purchase. This generous decision was against their policy of no refunds which customers agree to when they sign up. I received an email from the **************** team and was offered a full refund. Customer service even stated in the case of a refund only $350 is normally given, because there is a charge for a month. But for my case I was refunded the amount of $397. I have a screen shot of the email. I don't understand.. Were refunds allowed in the past?? I can understand why they would not refund for a month, but why not give refunds for a year of membership when I only had it for a few days?? The customer service of***************** was apologetic to me along with great communication, but when I signed up I do not recall seeing a policy of no refunds. Even in the email I received refunds have been given before, but for a lesser amount. Mighty Networks offers a platform for organizations such as***************** to run their business but we are not in a position to dictate how they do so.
