      I purchased three items from James Perse total for ***** on June 8th. I received the email that my order has been delivered on June 10th. Until now, I did not receive any order from James Perse. From June 10th I contacted with James Perse so many times noticing I did not receive any orders. Additionlly, I submitted the request form to James Perse on June 12th. Now is June 18th, I still did not have any update. Now I hope to get my refund back. Even I noticed James Perse I did not receive any items, the website showed my order fulfilled. Now I hope to get my refund back.

      I bought a pair of pants from James Perse for $165 plus tax on 9/22/2023 and on 1/8/2024 I found a hole near the back pocket. I have never seen similar things happen in the past with my other pants regardless of made or prices. The seller refuses to compensate by either exchange or refund citing they cannot "conclusively determine reason of the problem." and would not respond further. James Perse's product quality and its subsequent customer service combined deprive consumers right for purchase protection.

      On 11/21/23 I ordered a pair of Brushed Cotton Twill Cuffed Trouser in a womens size 3 from jamesperse.com for $118.00 plus tax. The pants were shipped and arrived promptly. When I put them on, I became aware they were grossly oversized. On 11/24/23, I emailed ************************************* and asked for an exchange of the pants based on how large they were. The James Perse size chart lists a size 3 fit as close to a **** waist. The pants in question measure closer to a 34 waist. On 11/25/23 I received an email from assistance@jamesperse from a ******, who stated "Unfortunately we typically are only able to make accommodations for final sale items once. We do show that this accommodation has been done for you in the past therefore we would be unable to accommodate a return or exchange at this time. The item in question for which the accommodation made had been found to be substantially different in color from what was presented online. It also was a final sale item. I assumed when there was a problem related to inaccurate representation, jamesperse.com would rectify the matter with a customer regardless of prior problems. I was wrong. It is unfair of a luxury retailer to not make an accommodation for a grossly misrepresented item. The third supporting document is the item description of the pants, which fails to mention how one should size down for a proper fit. In the words of another James Perse complainant, "It's irresponsible and unprofessional to mislead the consumer, they should make a statement "this garment runs two sizes larger than typical size 3 [item] instead of duping the public into purchasing knowing they messed up and need to just make money from the flawed inventory they purchased.I am not requesting a return, only an exchange for a smaller size.

      I purchased the Zip Pocket Utility Shorts in Gravel online on May 20, 2022 for $225. I LOVE the shorts. After wearing them about 8-10 times and washing 2-3 times, without putting the shorts in the dryer, I noticed 3 areas on the hem of the shorts where the thread had broken. Eventually the hem will come undone. I treat my clothes well. Because these shorts were $225, I did not expect them to start unraveling after a few wears/washes. I emailed customer service on October 17, 2022 and included photos, asking for an even exchange. They responded that "they cannot conclusively determine this was caused by a manufacturing defect and is likely due to wear and tear." They did not offer an exchange. On October 18 I emailed again asking them to reconsider since I've purchased shorts for much less and wearing and washing for years without any thread/hem issues. Upon further review, ****** in *********** customer service said they were "still unfortunately unable to accommodate an exchange or return due to the long amount of time that has passed." They did offer free shipping on another purchase. I did not want to return the shorts. I wanted an even exchange. I called on October 24, ****** again said they could not accommodate my request. I asked to speak to a manager, and he said he is the highest in customer service. I've purchase items in the past, and they were also not inexpensive, but I've had them for 10+ years and they have not had any issues. Unless this issue is resolved, I will not return to *********** since they do not stand behind their quality. I'd like an exchange, or offer to repair the shorts.

      I purchased two size 3 shirts from *********** three months ago and they fit great. I recently ordered a size 3 long sleeve shirt and the fit is like a size 5. It's not even close to the other purchases. When I reach out to *********** they simply say, "we'll let our team know" but don't offer any resolution. I simply cannot wear it because it's so big. It's irresponsible and unprofessional to mislead the consumer, they should make a statement "this garment runs two sizes larger than typical size 3 shirts" instead of duping the public into purchasing knowing they messed up and need to just make money from the flawed inventory they purchased.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/21) */ On December 13, 2021 a refund was initiated for the final sale item the client ordered. The return is currently in transit back to our facilities using the FedEx tracking: https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/?trknbr=287521624610&trkqual=12022 287521624610 FDEG The client used the return voucher provided rather than wait to be refunded for the merchandise. Client placed order #***** for two full price items on December 15th. This has been resolved directly with the client. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/12/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) My apologies, this complaint was filed prior to response from ***********. They handled this matter with excellent customer service.
