Can you please help me claim a tax credit for a used EV? I bought a car from Beverly Hills BMW. They never submitted a time of sale report. Without that report, the *** does not give a tax credit to me. They said they tried to submit it, but the *** will not take it since it is late. I read this is a common occurrence and the *** opened up late filings from Nov 25-Dec 10, but the dealership did not submit it then either. **************************************************************** I contacted ****** ******** @ ****************************************** and his # is ************. I signed the contract on 12-1-2024.Initial Complaint

I am the original owner of a *** X5M (last 5 VIN: *****), which I purchased from Beverly Hills BMW in 2022 and subsequently sold to a third-party company on September 8, 2024. Following the sale, I requested the cancellation and refund of the 5-year tire insurance purchased alongside the vehicle.Unfortunately, the dealership has refused to cooperate, and both the dealership and the insurance company have been shifting responsibility back and forth, seemingly attempting to evade the refund obligation. As of today, three months have passed since my initial request, and the issue remains unresolved.I kindly request immediate action to address this matter and ensure the timely resolution of my refund. Failure to respond promptly may compel me to escalate this issue to the relevant consumer protection authorities.Initial Complaint

Date of the Transaction: September 9th 2024 Amount paid: $1737.61 (Replacement of Failed Water Pump)*** Committed : Manufacturer Recall Issued Recall 24V-608 ***************** Recall: *************************************************** Channel reported ***s manufacturer Recalls. Regarding the water pump issues, short circuit could occur and dealers will inspect and replace pump and plug connectors. The recall included the year and model of my vehicle 2013 *** 328i. Vehicle owners will be notify in October 2024 and contact *** customer service for assistance. However, my vehicle overheated and was not drivable. I was with my 10 year old niece when we got stranded on the road. I really wish that she didnt have to experience vehicle breakdown because she got scared. We had to call for help because the car was overheating and not drivable. I had to pay a towing fee of $152.00 to tow my vehicle. The *** service repair shop only honored to replace electrical connector at no cost. I had to pay to replace the failed water pump. I referenced all the information and research that I did online, but to me told sorry but we dont go off by *******. It was a news station video clip referencing *** recalling 720k vehicles due to water pump issues. They failed me as a consumer to honor their own manufacturer recall so I paid it. Its my only vehicle and I need it daily for my work commute. The original cost was $1909.60, but I found a coupon to bring down the cost. I would like to be reimbursed for my out of pocket expense that should of have been covered part of the manufacturer recall.Thank youInitial Complaint

I have been repeatedly harassed by Beverly Hills BMW via email for months. They have continued to use aggressive tactics to push me toward a "vehicle protection plan" and when I respond to ask for clarity, they do not read any of my correspondence and simply send increasingly hostile emails with titles such as "THIS IS OUR THIRD ATTEMPT!!" before the same spam message is shared. The emails are signed by General Manager **** ********, and my response is requested, but none of my replies have been returned by **** or any other employee.I have unsubscribed, reached out via phone and email, and even contacted Beverly Hills BMW via the customer service chat feature on their website. Still, I receive near-daily emails and unable to find a resolution.I explained that any further communication of this nature would result in me ending my loyalty to *** as a vehicle manufacturer. I also noted that the continued emails about service plans and other unnecessary sales tactics would be considered harassment and that I would file a formal complaint to the BBB. This is that formal complaint, with legal action being the only remaining recourse if the Beverly Hills BMW team is unable to take accountability.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle and warranty with Beverly Hills BMW on June 3, 2024. The vehicle in question is a 2017 ******** E300, with a final sale price of $29,012, which was paid in full on June 3, 2024.Unfortunately, the deal was not an easy transaction, as I have been car-less since June 12th. After a few phone calls and texts messages throughout the week, I returned to the dealership on June 11th and was advised by ******, Salesman to take the vehicle to WI ********************************* Benz for service. At that time, I was attempting to address issues with the *** and date/time settings. On the 12th, I dropped the vehicle off at the ****************** WI ******** dealership and after one week was informed that they were awaiting an inspection from the warranty company to address issues with the vehicle after the diagnostic. Upon the warranty inspection, some items were not approved, which directly affect the cars soundness, including but not limited to an oil leak, flexed disc cracks and deterioration of a belt tensioner. I have attempted to maintain contact with the warranty company, WI ******** as well as Belash on the matter, but it appears there is no resolution. So, my main issues are that: I spent almost $30k for a vehicle that has been in service longer than Ive had the opportunity to drive it The vehicle, based on continuing service was not suitable for sale The warranty purchased does not cover actual needed repairs The time, stress of attempting to resolve the issues with both dealerships and the warranty company Acquiring other means of transportation because again the $30k vehicle is not accessible The expense of the warranty deductible and other financial expenses for the vehicle and for alternate transportation that I have been accessed There are other issues, and it seems there are significant flaws with this vehicle, the warranty and the sale of it. I am totally disgusted with this matter and am asking you for some resolution.Initial Complaint

I sold my car at another place beginning of 3/2024 and came to this establishment where I originally purchased the car to cancel my warranties (ESC ************* contract) on 3/22/2024. I dealt with ******* from finance and she added up what was owed back to me after the cancellation which totaled $4596.13. Per *******, I should be receiving my refund within 90 days or sooner. From the beginning, the finance staff never returns any phone calls despite me leaving multiple messages. I had to go to their office to get some kind of help and speak to someone. Per *******, she will call me back regarding my tire warranty from CNA national which is no longer in contact with them. Weeks passed but I never got a call from her or any other personnel from finance. On 4/3/24, I decided to go to their office again regarding the tire package cancellation. Someone was able to help me take care of the issue, but I forgot his name. A few weeks later, I got a letter from CNA national regarding a refund that I would receive which totaled $822. According to the letter, I would be able to receive my refund from the *** dealer within 30 days of the print date. The print date on the letter was 4/5/24. On 6/10/24, I called the *** dealership regarding an update on my refund on all the warranties that totaled $5418.13. I was transferred to the controller but no one answered so I left a message. When I didnt get a call back the next day, I left another message. I have been leaving messages but no one has been calling me back for the past 4 days. I am disabled and its difficult for me to get around. All I want is my refund that is owed to me. I need help in getting my refund.Initial Complaint

On April 11, 2024, I took my vehicle to Beverly Hills BMW for a recall service appointment. My vehicle was operating fine before the appointment and I drove it in perfectly. My vehicle has always ran great since I got it years ago. While my vehicle was getting serviced, I received a routine video of my vehicle from the technician informing me of the findings which he stated looked good. I then received a service report of close to $7000 worth of repairs needed. Because I didnt immediately respond via text, I soon after got another text stating I declined service and to come pick up my vehicle. After that text, i received another text misinforming me that its advised to get my vehicle towed out because its unsafe to drive. I thought something didnt seem right especially because this was all over text messages. I went there to get my car and as it was coming down the ramp there was a loud noise that I never heard before, the employee who handed me my keys was rude and snatched the plastic off my seats. Once I got in my vehicle all the check Engine lights were on, the car was making a loud noise, the steering wheel locked up and completely shut off. I was able to drive it about 10 seconds towards the exit ramp out the *********** building before my vehicle stopped moving, stopped working and completely locked up and shut off. I was in the street during rush hour time and it was devastating to say the least. Once I managed to get it to the curb I went back to ask the service advisor what happened, he was talking fast, being rude, saying he didnt do it, walking away and stated because I didnt want to get it serviced for $7000 that was the result. They offered me no help or no assistance. I had to get my vehicle towed home even though I drove there in great working condition. The *** driver saw the belt wrapped around the fan as if it were cut. Instead of repairing what they damaged or even telling me, they put my life at risk of potentially getting in an accident.Initial Complaint

This relates to the purchase of a 2019 *** 540i vehicle (VIN# *****************) on January 14th, 2023. I was charged $599.00 for a paint and surface protection product known as **********. Referenced as Item 1E 1 on the Retail Installment Sales Contract. This was an add-on cost to the purchase of the vehicle. The product cost should have been refunded as it was applied to defective paint (acknowledged by the dealership) that rendered it useless, ineffective and a waste of money. The paint issue became apparent after delivery of the vehicle in inclement weather where it could not be viewed properly. The dealership agreed to take the car back and address the issue but they did not fix it. This amount solely added to the dealerships bottom line and offered no benefit whatsoever to myself. I gave Beverly Hills BMW multiple opportunities to resolve the issue over 8 weeks but they ceased communication. I also asked them to refund the amount of $599, to which they have not responded.I initially declined this add on cost when offered. Upon my refusal the finance department then offered to have my auto loan interest rate reduced by 2% if I would accept the additional add-on items This is clearly deceptive business practice - whereby the dealership miraculously is able to reduce the interest rate in order that they can add in additional profit-making items for them.It does not change the fact that the ********** charge is not merited since it could not be effective on defective paint. I now have a car that has a partial matte finish whereas the color is supposed to be graphite metallic - a sparkling shiny finish.A small claims court filing is being prepared should this not be resolved with the BBB. This dealership engages in deceptive business practices, as evidenced here and referenced on multiple occasions online under the title "Beverly Hills BMW scams", some of which applies to the hard sell of this ********** product.Initial Complaint
