I placed an order with California Jacket on 1/7/24 and ordered 3 jackets. 1 of the jackets was for my girlfriend and it fit her perfect. The other 2 were for me and although I made sure to check the measurements according to the size they were both too small. I reached out to California Jacket with the hopes to exchange (because I really liked the jackets) but ultimately wanted a refund if that wasnt possible. Although I was willing to pay whatever shipping charges to return the jackets I was told to keep the jackets with 2 options. One of which was to resell the items and accept a partial refund of $50 along with $10 off next purchase or pay $70 per jacket for the shipping of replacements in desired sized. I would be essentially paying the cost for one of the jackets for them to ship the replacements which I said I was unacceptable for their mistake. I also thought it was pretty shady that all communication is done through Whatsapp or ******** messenger and nobody can be reached at the phone number provided. So its not really surprising that they refused to provide an address to receive the erroneous size labeled items and that they do not honor the refund or exchange policy on their website. The shirt we ordered was completely different to what we received. It was supposed to be cotton with a green doberman print. We received a huge shirt, shiny pink fabric, and the doberman print is terrible. It's clearly an imitation of the expensive item we were looking for. The parcel came from ********. They charge you the original shipping fee plus return shipping and a restocking fee. The quality of the shirt is actually hilarious. But I hope to avoid other people wasting their money. I purchased a cowboy hat from California Jacket company under the impression that it was just like the hat worn by Rip on Yellowstone as the hat was called Yellowstone Rip ******* fedora hat. This was a Christmas present for my son who is a huge fan. When I received the hat, it looked nothing like the hat worn by Rip, which is pictured in the item description. First of all, the item came packed tightly in a bag wrapped with tape. I did not realize it was the cowboy hat until I opened it. The hat is small and has a drawstring tie under the chin-again nothing like pictured. My family said it looks more like the hat worn by ***** in Toy Story. I contacted the company by email on December 15 to complain and ask for a refund. They responded on December 16 at 1:38 in the morning (which I found strange) asking for pictures of the item and to describe my complaint. I replied on December 16 at 5:56 in the evening with pictures attached and again describing why I was not happy with the item. I have not received any further response from the company.Business Response

I purchased what I thought was a suede hat from what they represented to be a Made in ******* company. I was charged $59.00 by ****** (not California Jackets). The hat arrived from outside the country. It is too big and not what was represented. Despite posting a 30-day return policy the company cannot be reached - I tried email, phone, chat and social. I'd like to process a return and get a refund. They should also not be allowed to advertised on *********Business Response

11/7/2022 *** Order #CJXXXXX **** ***** ****** sweater Size S ********** Jacket I've tried calling, emailing, and explaining the problem. The company has not offered a return of the problem due to the exorbitant amount of shipping costs. The product is extremely poor quality. As you can see by pictures, the sewing is below standard. Shoulder seams do not line up and lay correct on the body. The buttonholes are so small that it's a struggle to button and unbutton. All I want is my money back. *** was paid in good faith and I should not have to go through all this trouble to get a refund by a company that preys on uniformed **** buyers.
