Date of Issue: 12/21/2024 Time: 1:53 AM Price: $33.60 Order Number: MU0244405615 Original Order Details: (when subscription was made) Date: 11/20/2024 Time: 11:41 PM Price: $33.80 Policy in Question:The CheekSquad can typically change your shipping address or cancel your order if it has been placed within the first hour! (Updated November 11, 2024, 7:43 AM)My Concern:I am reaching out to express frustration regarding your policy and its implementation for subscription orders. Specifically, my most recent subscription order was processed at 1:53 AM, a time when it is unreasonable to expect customers to be awake to receive notifications and act within the stated 1-hour cancellation window. For a subscription service, it would be much more reasonable and customer-friendly if orders were set to process exactly one month after the previous order or at a time during regular waking hours. Processing subscriptions at such late hours appears to be poor business practice, possibly designed to minimize the chances of cancellation.I respect your policies, but in this instance, the timing of the order does not allow fair compliance, especially for a subscription service where customers expect reasonable accommodation. I request that you consider reviewing this process to ensure it aligns with fair customer service practices.Initial Complaint

Returned an order on 06/14/23 via ***** it was marked as "received" on 06/16/23, but apparently this is to a third party courier who then takes it to the warehouse for refund processing. As of 07/05/23, 19 days (12 business days omitting 4th or July as a holiday) it has not been received by the warehouse. I keep getting the excuse of "it is delivered in bulk by the courier." What courier keeps a package in their possession for nearly 3 weeks? There are companies that process refunds the second the tracking number is scanned into the carriers system. MeUndies waiting for it to be in warehouse possession before issuing the refund seems ridiculous especially if it sits around waiting to be delivered.I have already filed a chargeback with my credit card. I will cancel the dispute as soon as I am refunded what I am owed.Business Response

On November 26, 2021 I purchased several hundred dollars worth of adult-sized underwear via MeUndies mystery packs. I naively thought the mystery packs would include a normal arrangement of solid colors or patterns. Unfortunately, all of the designs were patterned extremely childishly. The company has to move unwanted inventory somehow, so that is not the reason for this complaint. One of the reoccurring designs I received was of an outline of a stereotypical green cannabis leaf often associated with marijuana consumption and drug culture. I made the mistake of opening the package in front of my very conservative anti-illegal drug family. As one can imagine, that did not go over well, and my reputation is now irreparably damaged. I complained through the company, who offered me a refund for just the pairs that were promoting an illegal drug that the ** Department of Justice classifies as a Schedule 1 controlled substance (the most severe schedule). I did not like the canned response I received or the attempt at a resolution, so I escalated my complaint internally in the company. The second response I received was worse than the first. The employee tried to gaslight me by patronizingly explaining that the classic green marijuana leaf is not associated with drug use! Here is one quote from the email I received: "Just to be clear, we're definitely not promoting drug use but instead the wonderful 'hemp leaf.' Cannabis might be derived from this plant. However, it's currently used in a variety of commercial items, including paper, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, paint, insulation, biofuel, food, and animal feed. What may be a fun and edgy print to some people, isn't going to have the same effect on everyone". I found this insulting. It should go without saying, but I also do not want hypodermic needles, spoons, & glass pipes on my underwear just in case you think I might be a fan of diabetes awareness, cereal, & glass blowing. I'm just not fun or edgy enough.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/06/29) */ Hey ****, I'm **, The Director of Customer Experience for MeUndies. First, I want to apologize for your experience with your mystery pack order and the harm receiving our marijuana leaf print caused. That particular print was one of the highest selling and popular prints we've produced, which is why we felt comfortable putting it in our mystery packs. Understandably, not everyone is comfortable with receiving a print that can be deemed controversial by many. It looks like you purchased the packs back on November 26, 2021, one year and 7 months ago. As our website states, mystery packs are final sale and can't be returned. While exceptions can be made, you reached out to our support team in January 2022, a year and 2 months after your purchase. While the return window had closed (it's 45 days from purchase) the team gave you a full refund for the 2 marijuana leaf prints and did not require you send the product back, but instead donate or dispose of the pairs. If this resolution wasn't acceptable (receiving a refund on pairs), could you detail what would have be an acceptable outcome?
