      I purchased from this website on 7/2/2023 a custom cat tree, as advertised on this website. It had been cited in several national websites for having custom cat trees that were beautiful. The website is full of amazing photos, with lots of options. Too many options? The initial contacts were promising, and the timeline reasonable for a hand-crafted product. As time went on, I received several texts from the owner about problems. Weeks turned into months, and I had no cat tree.

      Please never order a cat tree from this person. I ordered a tree in 2020 and was given the usual round of excuses after he charged over $600 up front. I requested a refund but he said that would be impossible because he didnt have the money. Still refusing to give up on this pyramid scheme hes got going, this past summer in *********************************** stock just to recoup the $. He offered a replacement stoop and I said sure, and then he sent an invoice requesting another $500. I guess I was expected to pay for that one too, cant imagine hed think Id send the money. I ignored it and needless to say have heard nothing since. I know my money is gone but if theres any way you could prevent other people from giving this guy their money, it would almost be worth it.

      On 05/15/21, I purchased a custom cat tree stump from Hollywood Kitty Co for $699. On 6/29/21 I messaged him on ********* to check in about how much shipping would be and eventually he said it would be 5-6 months so I then checked in around November of 2021 and since then, every couple of months, his ETA on the arrival has changed. He even ignored me all of this summer. Yesterday 01/01/23, he posted a new tree stump cat condo on *********, and someone inquired about how long his pieces take and he replied with 30-45 days. I replied on the post saying that was inaccurate and after more people asked questions and started saying that was wrong to do that, he blocked me on *********. It has almost been a full 2 years and we were just talking a couple of weeks ago saying it would be done by the end of January, another moved arrival date. I want my money back or the tree stump ASAP.

      I ordered an item on May 7, 2021 and was charged immediately $349.00. After six months of no response, I sent an email to inquire about the status of my item on October 14, 2021. I received a response from the seller that he was sorry for the delay and would promptly begin my order. It is now September of 2022 and I am still waiting. I have sent numerous additional requests to cancel my order and receive a refund, but I do not get any reply. I am very upset and frustrated with the situation.

      I purchased a cat condo a year and a half ago from this business. I called in February for an update and the owner told me he was one person and it would take more time to fulfill the order. I had not received any updates up until this point and have still not received any updates. I called about two weeks ago and left a message, which wasn't returned, and messaged the business on instagram, where I requested a refund and did not receive a response. I would like to either receive the product I paid for initially or be refunded if the request cannot be fulfilled, since it has already been as long as it has.

      I originally placed an order with this company on March 15, 2020 ********************** paying $38.25 for a consultation. The owner reached out on March 19, 2020 via email with more details and we confirmed the details via text (I had previously bought a *************** from him and encountered no problems) and I paid him $1000 ********* for the materials and construction. I contacted him multiple times throughout 2020 asking for progress, and each time he promised that he would start work soon and keep me updated. On August 22, 2021, I contacted him again and asked to switch to a ******** style that he had done before for a *** sanctuary, foolishly hoping that it would be easier/quicker to finish since it was a design he had completed before rather than something truly custom.He stated that it would cost an additional $750, at which time I sent the money *********. It has now been a year with no contact or progress updates, and recent texts requesting a refund for $1750 have gone unanswered. I'm extremely disappointed and upset, especially considering that my first custom order went through quickly without an issue. Unfortunately it seems that I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this has gone on too long and I deserve my money back,

      Transaction date was july 12,2021 Questioned 2 months later asking when the order would be shipped and recieved. He said by December 24, 2021. I ask again when the order will be shipped in January 2022 as I have not recieved it. He says the end of Feburary it will arrive. It never arrives. I give the benefit of the doubt and wait until July 2022. A full year since purchase. I send him an email asking for a refund. He does not answer. I then file a chargeback. He later files a reverse chargeback despite me never recieving the product. He has numerois reviews stating he's done this before, it was a $750 order roughly. I am a student and i saved for a long time to purchase this but i was scammed as countless others were

      I paid ******** on October 28 (2021) to Hollywood Kitty Co/ ************* for a custom driftwood cat tree. Then he sent me many text messages about the tree the next morning and told me to call him. He said he had concerns about the carpet colors that I had chosen and that he didn't think he had royal blue shag or plush available. So he told me he was going to the store to pick out carpet and that I should Venmo him $120 for royal blue carpet that he had just bought. So thus I Venmoed him $120 on October 29. I texted him on December 12 to ask the status of my order (a month and a half-ish after I placed it) and he said, "it's going to be a while." Then on February 13 I texted him again asking for an update and he said, "since its a big tree that will require a lot of long days in the garage, I want to build when it's not so cold. I have a lot to catch up on with other orders, in the meantime. I may be ready to get into your tree in April." Then on April 16 (after I read the BBB complaints against him and became aware of his history) I told him that I would like him to start building the tower within the next couple of weeks and I would like it to be completed by the end of May. And he said, "Okay." Then on May 4 I told him I hadn't heard from him and that I assumed he hadn't started on the tower, and that I would like a refund. He did not text back. Mind you, *** is usually very responsive to texts. I mean, VERY responsive. He would often text back with many paragraphs in a row within 5 minutes of me sending a message when we were in the process of planning the tower. I would like a full refund. That is: $******** plus $120.

      I purchased a cat tree from Hollywood Kitty Company on December 31, 2020 for $949--not a deposit, but the full price. The website indicated that it would take about 60-120 days to ship, as it was custom made. I waited until July of 2021 to reach out to the company. I was sent picture of "my" tree and was told that it was almost completed and would be mailed in 4-5 days. I never received it and reached out again in October--trying to be patient--and was told that I could drive to pick it up if I wanted to save money on shipping. I was happy to do that and was going to wait until my brother visited for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I then received an email indicating that the pictures that were sent months earlier were actually not my tree but someone else's and mine had not even been started. I asked for a refund and have yet to receive it. Reading the other complaints from this Bureau, this is a common practice from this company. I am requesting a full refund without interest before I seek legal action and then will ask for interest since this company has had my money for almost a full year. Thank you so much for your help.
