I am tenant of apartment 1011 at *******************************. I am submitting this complaint against the building management regarding their rejection of my move-out notice and their demand for an additional months rent.I would like to clarify the following:1.Communication with the Manager: Prior to my move-out, I spoke directly with the building manager and informed her of my intention to vacate the apartment earlier than the contractually required 30 days. She assured me that it would be acceptable for me to notify them a few days before my move-out and that the management would cooperate with this *************** Communication: Throughout my stay, I communicated with the management via email. On several occasions when I did not receive a response, I went directly to the managers or employees office within the building to resolve the matter in person. These in-person resolutions had been the usual method of handling issues.3.Notice Submission: Based on the previous conversation, I sent an email notice on February 24, 2025, two days before my planned move-out, informing the management of my intent to vacate. However, this notice was later ********************* Rejection: After the rejection of my notice, I made several attempts to contact the general manager and other concerned employees, but I was unable to reach a satisfactory resolution.5.Demand for Additional Months Rent: Despite the verbal agreement with the manager, I was informed that I would be required to pay rent for an additional month, which I feel is unfair and does not respect the verbal agreement I had been given. Therefore, I kindly request that you review this complaint and take the necessary actions to resolve this issue fairly, as I acted in accordance with the information I was provided by the management.I have attached all relevant documents and email correspondence to support my complaint and look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter.

The freight elevator has been broken for nearly a year and nothing has been done about it. I have been told to cut up my furniture trying to move out instead of them fixing the elevator. They are gaslighting us in emails saying that we are aware that "one" of the elevators is working when there are two elevators not working. There is a lot of money that we pay for rent and they chose not to invest that money in the essentials.

My apartment complex has paid parking that we pay $200 a month for underground gated parking. There have been constant break ins in the garage and cars are being broken into and stolen from (10+ incidents already in the past 4 months). Car windows smashed and stuff stolen from an underground gated parking lot. Everytime we tell the property management they blow us off or do not even reply. When we speak in person they basically just tell us to move out if we dont like it. We pay good money to be here and their only response is to move out. We have asked for security and cameras but have not received any help. Our complex is owned by *** which is a billion dollar investment firm. They can afford a security guard around the clock to help protect residents. but they simply REFUSE TO HELP US. please help

I rented from a property owned by *** (the *** at *****) and moved out on June 25th. I have attempted to reach the *** at ***** multiple times over the last three months due to concerns about our lease not being closed out properly, and I believe that it's costing me money. I have not been able to get a call back besides one missed call from them a month ago. I attempted to call them back almost immediately and they once again didn't pick up and I haven't heard anything since. I called again today and was told to reach out to *** directly by the calling agency they have hired to screen all calls. I attempted to reach out to CIM and was told that they have no access the *** at ******* system and I will need to reach out to them directly. So I am needing someone who knows how to do their job properly to reach out to me and figure out what is going on with a lease that, again, has been ended since June 25th.

CIM group is refusing to return my eligible property deposit I had a 6-month lease at a CIM group property in **********, ********. I was only here temporary . I did not even put one nail into the wall. During my tenancy, there was a massive overhaul of the windows in the complex- these workers scuffed up the walls with their shoes without wearing shoe covers, & also damaged of molding. I had a walk-through inspection which I had to remind the property of, and this inspection was done with their lead engineer ****. i recorded this as legal in ********, to which **** said my unit looked good & there would be no charges. 2 days later, I receive an email from *************************, the assistant property manager telling me they did a 2nd inspection and theyre going to charge me for scuff marks. I told her that I was cleared of charges, & I said I was happy to give her proof of the recording I made during the walkout. They tried to blame me for this and said I misunderstood. Yeah, I dont think so. No one would respond to my emails, I then had to call multiple & I was finally put in touch with the regional manager *************************. She told me she would have this charge reversed. I had a $300 deposit and my last correspondence with **** l said my balance was about $112, this would be for last utilities and one day of prorated rent . Imagine my surprise when the I got a refund check for $37. At minimum Im expecting $150 back. I had to contact the regional again who said she would sort it but then I just got another incomprehensible email from *************************. She sent some kind of ledger that I cant make any sense out of even though Im pretty intelligent and I read it three times. , I have a $300 deposit -$100 worth of final charges and theyre saying I only get $37 back. Since nobody can rectify this situation, and no one answers in the corporate office except reception, my only remediation seems to be to *** and small claims court. Seems silly for such as low amount.

The accident took place March 10 2023. I had written the company many times with no response. My insurance company also contacted them with no results. Recently I noticed that they painted the obstacle yellow and pot up one of those poles that are also yellow to indicate the problem. This tells me that many people have filed a complaint, other wise it wouldn't look so damaged. I just want them to reimburse the money I had to spend to fix my suspension.

We moved into our apartment a little over a month ago and we were very excited about the fact that they had a fitness center at the facility. They claim in their brochure that the fitness center is 24/7 access. Upon moving in, the stated times for the fitness center is between 5am and 10pm. This time still works for us as we typically enjoy working out in the morning before work. During our first visit to the gym we were asked to leave at 7am by the cleaning staff as they said that they needed to clean the facility. We quickly learned that this is a daily occurrence and they make the residents leave between 7am and 8am. We have asked the staff several times if they can adjust the cleaning time so the facility is usable during the hours that they have advertised and they have refused. We put in a complaint through their portal and received no response. We understand that the fitness center requires cleaning on a daily basis, but this should not be done during the hours that it is supposed to be available.
