I dropped my Spanish riding boots custom made from a boot company in *****. I dropped them off with **** and paid for the repair in full. I was in contact with the shop owner monthly and after 1 year I was told the boots were finished. I called daily to arrange to pick them up only to get a busy signal finally decided to drive in person only to learn that he was evicted. I am out the money I paid and my boots that also cost quite a bit of money. I am still searching for this guy and leaving messages but getting zero response. I have been contacted by many of his customers thru social media who are also in the same boat. Now tonight I see an ad for a business out of *** featuring the same ************** advertising extremely expensive custom shoes. I want my boots! Or reimbursement for $800. There are alot of people who have been disrespected and cheated by this shop owner some who rely on their shoes for work.

I left my expensive custom made ice and roller skates , and the bag , with **** at Willies Shoe repair. He was going to stretch them both and replace the skate bag zipper. ****** himself had stretched the ice skates once years ago. And I have brought many jobs into the shop from the entertainment industry as a costumer. Willies was a staple go-to- for all we Costumers. So I did think it strange when he insisted on complete payment up front, & taking no credit cards... Neither of which was mentioned before hand nor on his website. This became a big deal, as I felt sorry that the business seemed to be struggling, and so I DID give him the $55 cash I had then drove around looking for my bank, to give him all cash. That failing, I lrft him my credit card number for what I thought would be collateral, only until I could get a check mailed to him... (I offered to bring one back the next day, although I was living quite a distance from the shop) He immediately entered my credit card number into his phone, despite my reluctance, assuring me it was 'secure' . I made it home, wrote a check, and got it into mailbox before close of business. We texted several times regarding this whole thing... Once where I pointed out that he would HAVE my $$ skates, AND my deposit anyway. not to mention that I was a returning Industry customer, not understanding the hard line requirements. At any rate since then I have texted, called and emailed, receiving no response. I finaly went there 2 days ago. The sign was removed. no one answered my knocking, and business next door said Willies has closed, "about 2 months ago" ! I feel/ that my skates still sit there and not being able to get them back is tearing me up. **** was nice, helpful, spent time fitting them on me, but now I feel so manipulated and betrayed. . By a place that had been innately trustworthy for decades .. PLEASE just return my property ??

******************* is the biggest scam artist on the planet. We concepted a shoe, I paid for us to go to a materials show together, and then gave him $4600 to make the mold and a $200 pair of shoes to use as a guide. After that, **** stopped replying to me, I received nothing for my money, and he walked away with about $5000 of my money invested. This guy should be in jail.

Business is refusing to return my property.I dropped off hiking boots of a value of $440 at the beginning of February. I agreed to pay up front as it seemed standard for the business and I have had shoes repaired by them in the past. I was given to understand they would take 3 weeks.Business informed me on Feb 28 that boots were ready. I made an appointment for Friday March 10 at 11am to collect them. They cancelled this. I rescheduled the appointment for 5pm the same day. When I arrived the business was closed. They promised to courier the boots to me the next day, Saturday 11, between 2&3pm. The boots did not arrive. I continued to try to get them to send me my property as promised, from 3pm until 10.30pm.Last contact they told me the boots would be delivered this morning. There is no sign of them and the person is now refusing to answer any phone calls.Original transaction Feb 2 Repair of boots $220 plus $33 tip Value of boots $440 - women's black ****** hiking boots (women's mountain light)
