  I have had the exact same experience as **********, my first box received in December had a first box special item making the whole thing seem "okay" the second box arrived with a broken revolving gear sculpture and upon sending images via email and explaining the situation I was offered $20 for what is essentially the entire purpose in ordering the box, just as others have mentioned the rest of the box is dollar store quality knickknacks. Feel as if I was scammed into paying about $80 after shipping to receive a faulty item and a bunch of dollar store junk. Expected more from ******* at V-sauce.

  Absolute waste of money! I just got the box with the gear box that gets slower as the gears progress. Upon receiving the box, two of the gears had fallen out of the machine. I fixed the gears, but it didnt even work properly after fixing it. Do not buy the curiosity box. It is a complete scam and a waste of money on an overpriced piece of plastic that comes in every once in a while.

  Ive gotten two boxes. The first box was okay, the second box arrived with the primary item ( the revolving gear sculpture) completely broken.They refuse to issue a refund as is stated on their website. This is a total scam. The rest of the items in the box were essentially dollar store garbage amounting to 25$ worth of stuff.Do not get the curiosity box!!!

  Never even got my first box. Each month I was told it would ship that month..it never did. Absolute scam!

  I placed an order at the end of last year and got my first box approximately 2 weeks ago. There were no updates until just before the Box shipped. The contents of the box were cheap and the box was mostly empty. I was supposed to have gotten a shirt in my order and it was not there. They even charged me extra because I had a larger size. When I reached out to customer service to find out where my shirt was they gave me some strange answer that was no answer at all. They said that they were not going to ship out a shirt in future shipments so I am not going to get one. I tried to cancel my account and get a refund months back when I realized that this was not a company I wanted to do business with due to their lack of fulfillment and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

  Similar to ******************** set of denary dice (the only thing I wanted in this box) and had NO talk of it being months out. Advertised saying this would be in the next box. Then I signed up, and it wasn't in this box. Meaning if I wanted the set I'd have to subscribe again for an already overpriced subscription box.

  As other people have mentioned, It's a total scam now. Ordered to get a certain item advertised as being in the next box but it was not in the box ************** they had left over and a note saying the item would be in the next box.

  I ordered a subscription box from them which was promised to have a specific item in it (The Denary Dice Set) according to an ad posted to their Instagram on May 30th If you want the Denary Dice, they will come in your first box. But they did not! I will also say that it takes about 12 weeks for them to ship your order, yet they still charge and extra $10 for shipping! Absolute joke and literal false advertising

  A total scam company. They have been advertising a product as the next item to be included. I received a box today. The advertised item was not in the box, but a computer "hand written" note that said it would be in an UP-coming box as I should know. NOTHING on the site mentions that this item would be 6 or more months out, of paid subscriptions on a quarterly base of $50.00. The little bit if junk in the box had nothing I would ever spend money on.Scammers. Unless you have money to burn, RUN from them. If you do have money to burn, it will give you better results to burn your money as you don't have extra trash to deal with.

  You should avoid ANY and ALL subscription-based offerings like this. You pay IN ADVANCE for a year's worth of products. Then, you trust that the company will hold your money for a year and only spend it when it is time to send out products each quarter. As if. What actually happens is, once you send them your initial subscription money, there is NOTHING that stops them from spending it for whatever they want. When the first promised quarterly delivery comes due - they don't have to have YOUR money to buy products, they just need more people to become subscribers. They can use NEW SUBSCRIBER money to buy product for past subscribers - as long as the number of subscriber keeps growing. These are CLASSIC PONZI SCHEMES!
