    1/13/2025 After starting my LLC I received a text to obtain my EIN. I followed through, not realizing it wasn't a government site, paid the $149 and started to realize something didn't look right on the confirmation page. I tried calling and emailing to no avail, researched online only to find many, many complaints and also that an EIN number is free. I am concerned not only because they charged me but also because they have ALL my personal information including my ss. I do not consent to my name, phone number, email or address being published on the BBB site, only the review.

    I was helping someone to get an EIN through the *** website. There was no indication that I was signing up for a service. I was charged $319 for something I neither wanted nor requested. I have called multiple times and no one answers, nor can you leave a voicemail, or ever get an agent. I am going to try to resolve this through my credit card company for a refund. This site is a scam and the *** should have this banned from their site. Shameful!!!

    Credit card would not go through on website. Entered debit informationn and it immediately took $ from account. No contact with me was made for same day service. Call the number omn the website and it disconnects after saying stay on the line. No email confirmation of purchase or anything was provided.

    1/14/24, 295, Supposed to get an EIN number for a business. Did not get an EIN number and this is a free service provided by the government. They did not answer my call. It was a website online. phone number is ************ provided by my credit card company.

    This business mimics the official government website. They do not answer their phone or respond to any other attempted communication. They make it impossible to get refunded directly through them.

    Like others who have complained very recently, I applied for an *** at ******** only to be somehow charged by this company **** on XX-X-XX or ************* my ******** Credit card, for ************* me with my application. The customer communication timeline is listed below: 10/3/2022 - Received application request from ******* ******* 10/3/2022 - Application review and submitted to the IRS with successful EIN generated and sent to customer's email on file: ***************** 11/5/2022 - Customer opened a case to the BBB 11/7/2022 - Customer sent a note to Customer Support (after BBB complaint was filed) requesting a refund and indicated that she disputed the transaction with Citibank. Customer Support is not able to refund a transaction that has been disputed with the bank. 11/28/2022 - Customer Support received a notice from our credit card processor that ******* ******* disputed her transaction. A refund was issued to the customer as per our agreement with the bank. Consumer Response /* (-5, 10, 2022/11/30) */ thank you. I will promptly respond so that the case may be closed once my credit card company informs me that the business in question has fulfilled their part of refunding the $269.     FRAUD! This is fraud - language from their website: "services we provide including Simplified EIN Application, Application Preparation & Review, EIN Error Identification & Correction, Experienced Customer Service, Phone, Email & Fax Support, Secure Online Backup, Application Availability 24/7, Optimized Forms and our service is a Tax Deductible Expense". The company DOES NOT facilitate any of the aforementioned products. There is no simplified application as it is the same as the IRS website, there is no review process nor is there customer support as my calls and emails have been unreturned. As far as "secure online backup", I would like evidence of that as I am quite sure that is also fraud. They do not answer their phone.

    On ******* I applied for an **** The way the website is setup, I was under the impression I was applying through the **** I filled out the information requested, even providing personal information, and had to pay a fee of ***** I should have stopped there, as I was told an *** is of no charge, but thought maybe because I was a new business. In any case, on *** I reached out to the support email on the confirmation email stating I never received the **** even questioning if I did it correctly and inviting a phone call to discuss. Their response was that they sent the *** on **** I emailed support again stating and showing a snippet of an inbox search with no email. No response. I filed a dispute against them with my bank on *** and spoke with a bank rep on ***** who gave me a phone number. I have now called 2x today ******* once outside hours and once within their stated business hours- no pick up, and no response to my 2 voice messages. I also emailed ** on **** ********* a refund. Third ****** I think this is a scam. They are robbing people who are not well informed around this matter. I expect a ****** and will do whatever I can to get that. I have attached the email chain for review. The number I called today was ************* I called once at ***** EST and left a voice message. I called again at ***** EST and left a second message pleading for a refund and response.

Saturday, ********* ******** - ********* Z. placed an order on ********************* Comments: Order placed outside of business hours. Orders fulfilled Monday, *** ** **** 2. Monday, ******** - Order fulfilled with EIN and official *** ************ letter sent to the email on file (**************@yahoo.com) 3. Thursday, ******** - Customer sent email to Support checking status of order. Customer Support responded in same day confirming the order was fulfilled and sent to the email on file. Customer could not locate the email and another one was sent with the EIN and official IRS confirmation letter. See attached email chain. 4. Tuesday, ********* - Customer disputed transaction with bank and was given a refund. See refund confirmation email. Summary: The customer placed an order with our company and the order outside of business hours. The order was completed the following Monday per our guidelines and sent to the email on file. The customer reached out to Customer Support to inquire about the order and was promptly given a reply and another email with the completed EIN. The customer disputed the transaction with the bank and was promptly given a refund despite the fact we fulfilled the contracted services. Supporting Attachments: 1. Completed Order confirmation email with EIN 2. Customer Support Email chain confirming the EIN was fulfilled and resent to the email on file. 3. Email with customer confirming refund.
