Filed a Trademark request with Trademark Terminals and paid the following:$100 Inv #******* dd 5/29/2020 Basic ********* *************** Search + Case Review by an attorney $49 Inv # ******** dd 5/30/2020 Trademark Registration: Basic Package + *************** Search + Case Review By An Attorney $550 Inv# ******* dd 6/1/2020 USPTO Filing Fee $698 Inv# ******** dd 12/30/2020 Office To Action Response Trademark Terminals has not been forthcoming, very uncooperative and has provided almost zero communication and follow up and feedback status on the filing. They initially said that the delay in the process for my trademark application was due to the volume and backlog from co-vid. But, in a word, everything appears to be very much like a scam.I am requesting a refund.Thank you for your assistance.

I came upon Trademark Terminal when I was doing a search on how to apply for a Trademark. Trademark Terminal appeared on the first page of the search results and offered to file a Trademark for only $49. I looked into them thinking in the back of my head that it could be a scam, but I didn't find evidence to suggest that at the time. I was in a rush to get my Trademark application started so I went ahead and paid the $49 on February 27, 2021. I ended up paying $700 as part of of the USPTO classification fees shortly after that, and then $799 for a case manager. The application was filed on March 2, 2021, and I knew it could take up to a year or more sometimes for an application to be processed. But after almost a year passed and I had not heard anything, I looked up my application on the USPTO website and it said that my application was terminated "for various reasons including because the company that assisted you with the filing of your application was not authorized to practice law in the United States". So on February 25th, 2022, I asked for a refund. They told me that many applications got temporarily suspended due to bulk submissions but that they assure me that the chaotic situation would be resolved very soon. I waited until July 17th, 2022, and then reached out about a refund again. Again they fed me some excuse (this time it was systematic difficulties) and showed me a fake document that showed that my application is live and awaiting examination. I knew this doc was fake because the header was different from a real USPTO doc, and it showed my email under "correspondent e-". Whereas when I obtained docs directly from USPTO, my email wasn't listed anywhere- they had a trademark terminal email listed (so that they would get all the correspondence). I filed billing dispute claims with my bank for every payment I made, but because too much time has passed (which is the nature of trademark applications), they couldn't do anything. I'd really like my money back.
