DAILYLOOK is practicing unethical and illegal business through discreptive or false advertising and falsely charging consumers. I received a card with promo code SUMMER2024. This card provides a discount when you spend certain tiers of money. The more you spend, the more you save. ** offers an ongoing promotion where you get 50% off two items if you keep five. I had planned to keep six items, so the 50% off was automatically applied to my purchase. When I entered the Summer2024 code, it kicked off the ongoing 50% promotion. DL does not say that the promo cannot be combined with other offers. It doesnt say it on any marketing material they sent to me, and its not said anywhere on the app - including during the checkout process. I understand the system may be limited so I called customer service so they could manually use both codes, and they wouldnt. This is FALSE ADVERTISING and unethical at the very least. If you cant combine promos, your fliers have to say that. ** does not provide this information to consumers in their marketing materials nor on their app, which is what a typical consumer uses. Additionally, last month, there was a glitch in their system, and they charged me the wrong tax. To correct this, they recharged my card a second time. When I called about the duplicate charges, they said it was to claim the tax they missed. They refunded part of my second charge, but kept the amount they said was owed in taxes. When a consumer agrees for their card to be charged a certain amount with a vendor, you cant just change that amount without agreement with the consumer. Daily Look engages in unethical and illegal practices, and no consumer should engage in business with them.Review from Jenna J

HORRIBLE. I'm only selecting one star because I HAVE to, otherwise I'd leave it ZERO STARS. I received a box full of clothes that weren't my style or didn't fit me well. I returned the box late because I was just busy and that's totally my fault.... HOWEVER, customer service said it was out of the reimbursement window and that they will be sending it BACK to me and not refunding me. The box was returned March 14th to their warehouse, and it still has NOT been sent back to me. Upon emailing customer service MULTIPLE times, they keep saying it has not been located yet. So, they not only kept my over $1000 of my hard-earned money, but they still have a box full of worthless clothes to me that I supposedly paid for with that money just LOST somewhere in their warehouse.... so, they have my money AND the product I paid for (that I don't even have a use for) .... I asked again if there was even a common ground we could come to and requested HALF of my money back, and they could keep the clothes to still make a profit off of in the future, and they STILL said no, and that I'd just have to wait until it was sent back...with no definitive answer on WHEN that would be. I started the subscription and tried to call no contact phone number works I tried multiple numbers and email and contact us to no avail no one has contacted me. Upon subscribing, they have a survey asking about your style, age and profession I was very detailed and they sent me clothes for a child and I contacted the one and only email from a "stylist" told her immediately upon receiving it was not my type of clothing, that said, i kept emailing contact Us on their website to this day no phone number works that is linked to this company. This dalylook.com took close to a thousand dollars from my PayPal account for several pcs of clothing that are for a child no one has contacted me. i want my PayPal account credited I already sent back the items and i want my account credited and the subscription closed. Keep in mind I'm A sr ******* old and this is my first clothing subscription experience I will tell millions of people about I WANT A CALL BACK AND MY MONIES REFUNDED ASAP. This has been a problem from the start. First off everything is over $100 and the quality is equivalent to ******** I was overcharged and didnt receive items. When I call they are all in Asia and refuse to forward to a representative that can clearly speak. The quality and service is awful.Review from Amelia A

Probably the most I've regretted trying a subscription service, ever. Why? Because the cancellation policy is absolutely the darkest most deceptive UX pattern i have encountered. Good luck trying to cancel your subscription because at every touchpoint a user tries to do this, you are met with a "We will not cancel until you've: 1. had your box shipped. 2. box has been delivered 3. return has been initiated 4. return was received by us 5. even then they want you to jump through hoops of fire to proceed with the cancellation. Utter joke, and clearly they want you to "forget" you have this to bill another month on your card for a subscription you clearly did not even want anymore. That process alone was terrible, but then the kicker is the clothes they chose for me were absolutely not my style, terrible fit, wrong sizes and had a ******************* kind of vibe to them. Could have found better sifting through marshalls clearance bin!Review from Beth P

I was searching for a particular style of shirt and was brought to Dailylook to purchase this item. I only purchased a shirt, and never agreed to signing up for a monthly service. I never received the item, and I never received a tracking number for the item. I sent an email. No response. I called customer service. The agent told me that he could not locate a tracking number, that he would contact the "shipping company" and that I should wait for an email. I never received an email. Luckily I did not give my credit card and made the purchase with Paypal. When I went to Paypal to request a refund, I discovered that I had been enrolled in automatic monthly payments. This company is a scam. The quality and kind of clothes they advertise is NOT what they send. The clothing sent is low ********************* clothing, not stylish. I specifically said NO sweaters because I live in a tropical climate and all they sent was sweaters lol there was no way to contact the stylist and getting someone on the phone was a headache not to mention the person barely spoke English and was very unprofessional. I sent everything back and they still charged me $846 plus a bunch of $1 transactions that make no sense. Also I put a credit card in but somehow they charged my PayPal? Im pretty sure this company is stealing information as well as peoples money. This is ridiculous.Review from Katherine H

Really disappointed. Within 24 hours of receiving the box, I tried on all the clothes and kept one shirt that I really loved. I folded up the rest of the clothing and got everything into the returns bag and went to the post office to mail back the next day. I also checked out online. I was shocked today to be called and emailed by the company saying they did not receive 3 items of clothing that I returned and if they did not hear from me within 24 hours they were going to charge me for them. I have just started trying out subscription boxes and of the 4 I ordered from different companies, this is the only company who accused me of keeping clothing I did not pay for. I was so bummed because while I am trying to keep a budget right now, in a few months I will be in the market for a lot of new work clothes, and I really liked some of the clothes the stylist sent. It felt predatory -- thank god I saw the email/missed call and responded right away, otherwise I would have been out a lot of money for something I did not keep/get to enjoy. I read other reviews and figured the people who had problems with being charged did not return their boxes/return bags in a timely manner, so I have been very careful to do everything within 24 hours of receiving every box from every clothing company I have tried. Thankfully the person who answered the phone thought to ask me if I wanted to cancel my subscription (I had forgotten that when I had called before receiving the box -- because I only wanted to order one to try the company -- I was told I could not cancel at that time, I had to wait until the box was received). Bottom line: I love the shirt I got, but not worth the headache.Review from Stevie S

The items are overpriced and the time frame they give to return is too short. I replied that I was returning the items and cancelled the subscription. On the last day to return it they sent me a verification email confirming that I was returning the items. I confirmed and then they charged me for all of the items. Nearly $1000.00. Poor policies and customer service.
