      Penguin Home Solutions Got financed through Mosaic, had solar panels installed but not hooked up. Penguin Home solutions is now out of business and filed bankruptcy. The finance company wants payments but we dont have the solar working!Financed $43K

      Penguin Home Solutions and I entered a contract for Solar at my home over a thirty year fixed price. Subcontractors were used to install reroof, and solar panels. A lien has been placed on my home by one of the subcontractors, and the other will not be far behind. Cannot reach anyone at the company as not numbers or emails work any longer.

      Penguin home solutions installed our solar panels last year 2022. It took a long time to get turned on so we missed the tax break for 2022. Only half of our solar panels are working. They sent someone out to fix it and they said they would come back. They have not called or come back. It has been two months. When we attempt to call they to set up a time to fix half our panels, the numbers are disconnected. We have no way to get our panels fixed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Thousands of dollars for only half the panels. So we basically paid double.

      On February 20, 2023, I entered into a contract with Penguin Home Solutions to have solar panels installed at my property. The agreed-upon amount for the entire contract was $18,085.00, which I promptly paid in full. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when I received a Mechanics Lien notice from Greentech Renewables, a third-party supplier, on Aug 11, 2023. The notice indicated that Penguin Home Solutions had not paid them for services rendered in connection with my solar panel installation. The amount of the lien was stated as $3,599.05.My attempts to resolve this matter directly with Penguin Home Solutions have been met with frustration and disappointment. Despite my numerous attempts to contact the company using the provided phone number and their accounting department, I have not been able to reach a live representative. Calls to the phone number are either unanswered or are directed straight to voicemail, leaving me unable to communicate and address this serious concern.I find myself caught in a situation where I have fulfilled my payment obligations to Penguin Home Solutions as per our contract. Yet, a third party has placed a lien on my property due to the company's non-payment to this third party. This situation is not only distressing but also unjust, as I should not bear the consequences of their business disputes.It is my belief that Penguin Home Solutions has a responsibility to ensure that their subcontractors and suppliers are compensated fairly for their services, and I should not be held liable for their financial disagreements. The lack of responsiveness and communication from Penguin Home Solutions exacerbates the frustration and confusion that I am currently facing.Attached is a copy of my contract, my payment invoices, and a copy of the Mechanic's Lien.

      I purchased rooftop solar for my house through PENGUIN HOME SOLUTIONS **** CSLB lic# CA#*******. HIS Registration number ******. Purchase was done through finance, through EverBright for a total of $31,289.52. PENGUIN HOME SOLUTIONS **** has put the solar on my house, PENGUIN received the supplies for the work through GREENTECH RENEWABLES. PENGUIN has not paid GREENTECH for the supplies. GREENTECH has filed a mechanic's lien against I and my property in the amount of $8,250.64, also gaining interest. I have call PENGUIN and there is no answer. I have gone to the PENGUIN website and it does not exist anymore. I have tried to call the numbers from the contractor and no answer. I would like PENGUIN to pay for the supplies used. EverBright has paid PENGUIN and now PENGUIN should pay for the materials used. It was in the disclosure agreement I received.

      On 2/20/23 I contracted with Penguin Home Solutions for a 6.32kW roof solar system and then paid a $1000 deposit. On 07/14 Penguin gave me an install date of 07/19 and billed me for a milestone payment of $22,990.40 which I paid. On 07/19 no one showed up. Penguin rescheduled me for July 28, then August 4. Again on 08/04 no one showed up and since then I have had no communication from Penguin despite repeated attempts to contact them by phone, voicemail, email, and chat. On 08/05 I discovered that Penguin's phone number and website have been disconnected. I am seeking (1) an immediate refund of my $22,990.40 milestone payment; (2) a commitment from Penguin to complete the job as contracted, or else a refund of the $1,000 deposit as well.

      I got a material lien on my house because Penguin solution didnt pay the material company. I now have the payment to the lender plus this **** the material company wants. I called the company. The phone is disconnected. The numbers I do have they dont call me back. Solar is not working even though SCE approved the panels on July 20, 2023. Now penguin Solutions have disconnected their numbers and dont answer emails sent to them and I dont have working panels. What can I do?

      Penguin Solar Solution has been contacted by me repeatedly for the last 3 weeks as my solar has not been working since June 21. I have left them repeated messages to send someone to repair the solar that they installed and is still in the warranty period. No one is responding to my messages. Solaredge is the manufacturer and they have the manufacturer warranty for 25 years but they not contact Penguin neither will they send someone as they are saying that I should contact Penguin

      I began the process of installing solar and a generac generator almost a year ago. Horrible communication throughout. I now at almost a year do not have permission to operate and my generator spiked voltage when it ran and took out my A/C compressor and refrigerator with the surge. All phone numbers are either disconnected or voicemail. I have a ****** dollar system that is useless. Nobody cares at this business... They got their money unfortunately they no longer care and obviously my "warranty" will never be covered.
