I began using Marina OB/Gyn services in January 2023. I became pregnant in March of 2023 and had all my prenatal appointments with great Marina Ob/Gyn physicians/MAs. My baby came out preterm on 10/01/2023. I did not deliver with the physicians from Marina OB/Gyn because of the medical emergency. The problem I have with Marina OB/Gyn is their failure to give me medical clearance for the DISABILITY INSURANCE I was applying for. The employee who handles this medical clearance was available through email only. I sent my email with my DI information and she told me she was unauthorized to give me clearance because the baby was not delivered with Marina OB/GYN physicians. I was told the physician who delivered me was responsible for the medical clearance. THIS IS NOT THE ***** The physician facility who handled my prenatal visits are responsible for my medical clearance. The only exception to this rule is if I delivered baby through C-section (which, in my case, I delivered baby vaginally). The main dispute I have over this is that the Marina OB/Gyn calling system had me in loops trying to contact this employee. Several times I was reaching a voicemail box that was full or was hung up on while on hold. The phone assistants would leave a callback number for the *** employee to contact me but I never received a call! This employee was never available to reach on a phone conversation. I emailed the given email multiple times and only received about 3 emails back. This business was not helpful with DI application. Now this business is costing me money. This business has delayed my DI benefits because of the employee who refuses to do his/her job.
