You started on the 5th and closed up on the 22nd. Not acceptable. You kept stonewalling me about that permit which was issued the 10th "Call us when you get that permit" no explanation as to why you were holding it and what the process was. I finally went down to the City to see what the hold up was. Well it was YOU.As far as the job itself. Yeah, you've got the right front man; smart, knowledgeable, personable, confident. Then you send the rookies. Don't get me wrong. The kids you sent were all hard working, respectful and willing, but they had not clue as to what they were getting into. Can't imagine that no one at ********* knows how ******* got it's name... "Rock Land." ****, we're ******* but basically the same location. The workers were all amazed at how many rocks they had to deal with. Water line should of been exposed in one day. They also should of made a more thoughtful provision to protect plants where possible. Irrigation should of been considered meaning the drip lines and the control cable running through the trench. It was not understood that the irrigation water nor the control cable should of been reconnected. On request they did reconnect the watering drip lines, I supplied the connectors, the control cable was cut. The crew did show me the cable in the trench, it just didn't occur to me that was my control cable. I had to get in there and splice that cable. Not one time did I see a supervisor stop by to see how things were going. Overall the job just took too long. The thing that irritates me the most is why that permit was held up, I called four times about that. I have to say that you have made up my mind about any future work that I might need done. I have an HVAC system ready for replacement that will not go out to *********,,, and I have a Hot Water Heater I've been told should be replaced, and that as well will not go out to the *********.Respectfully *************************Review from elizabeth c

Their telephone service is awful. I was hung up twice. They quote the most expensive prices for very common services such as hot water heaters. I would go to ********** first.Review from Sue C

I am only writing this review because Bell Brothers will not respond to my requests for a return phone call regarding damages done during a plumbing repair. Last week they came out and replaced some plumbing under my house. The crew did a great job and were very professional, I have no issues with the plumbing repair. What I do have issues with is the fact that with going in and out under my house so many times they damaged the insulation to my AC duct. I asked them to please repair it and they said they would have to contact the office someone for office to come out and do that. I never heard from the office so I called them 2 days after the work was done. I left a message to speak with a supervisor and finally **** did call me and said he would follow-up.. A week later I've not heard a word from **** Or anyone else . I have called the office multiple times this last week asking for a supervisor to contact me and describing to the receptionist what the issue is. Every time I call, the supervisors are in a meeting, not available or have gone home. The receptionist then tells me she will send them an email regarding the issue and have them call me. Those calls and all conversations are documented . Again a week later no one has called. Once they have your money they do not want anything to do with you. There has been no follow-up and their customer service is terrible. I guess ***** and ***** just like to blow smoke about their company. I will be going to the office tomorrow to speak to someone in person. Do not use Bell BrothersReview from Chester V

I bought my HVAC system from them 5 years ago. Price and installing was excellent. However after then the service appointments requiring phone call as they were on the way never happened. Some times I got a call stating technician was running late but they had not even made an appointment. They just sending someone without contacting me. I had an appointment for a morning plumbing inspection (8-noon). I called at 12:15 and they said they changed it to an afternoon appointment. I said NO. You have to call first. You do not just change it without notice. Cancel this appointment. The technicians they send out have ALL been excellent, but the scheduling/dispatch area is horrible. I have had an annual contract ever since the warranty expired. However I will not due any business with them after this contract is over.Review from Chris W

My water heater needed replacing and they came out and gave me quote ranging from 5.5k to over $14,000 for a top of the line system. This is predatory salesmanship for a system that ended up being less than 2k at a big box store. I know people who have even done it for cheaper but I was completely satisfied with the equipment and installation priced at 2k. Someone needs to rain ********* in for preying on people in troubled times.Review from Jen S

One issue can be understood, but constant issues, no return calls, no show by technician is just enough with this company. How can they continue to pride themselves on their customer service when they literally cannot even return a call? There are a million other options for HVAC/ Plumbing, I suggest steering clear of Bell Brothers.Review from Tricia C

This company, from top to bottom, is TERRIBLE and has given my house, family, and me SO MANY PROBLEMS. We have been customers for over 20 years, and they have done routine checks on our system. Our old system was working perfectly fine. Last ******* **** Brothers came to do an annual check for our system. **** said they found a few things of concern so they sent out a sales rep. **** said our old system looked like it was starting to wear out and that we'd need a new system. The weather was warmer then, and they suggested we change it before the weather got cooler. We figured we should have it changed since our system was over 30 years old. **** changed it, and it worked fine last summer. Then, during winter, the heater stopped working. We called, and they sent a technician out, but after a couple hours the system would shut off again. This happened every single day for weeks. **** kept sending the same technician to check our system. We were so cold for so many days that we had to purchase portable heaters just to keep warm. HE even said he was tired of getting calls to go to our house. We kept asking them to send someone else, but they said he was the only one available. Finally, we told them that we'd wait however long until someone, ANYONE ELSE, was available. A new technician came out, and it turns out that it kept breaking down because the former technician installed the part BACKWARDS. The system works fine for a little while. Then, a loud whistling noise starts emanating from the system. System breaks down AGAIN. He says that it looks like a part needs to be replaced and that he'd send in an order. We ask when it will be available. He can't give us an estimate. they have the part and to expect someone to install it on a certain day. **** say they have no trucks available that day and that we'd have to wait until next week. Overall POOR SERVICE.Review from Alberto O

I hired Bell Brothers to service AC system in 2022, they service my system 3-4 times. I signed out for their contracted service. early this year tech came to service my house and write up a report that showed my air ducts being leaking and proposed replacing all the duct system I decided not to do this service I was thinking about getting a second opinion since the investment was over $5K. later in the year I scheduled another service for the system and this time tech tells my wife that the refrigerant is extremely low on my system but since my system is outdated they don't have the type of refrigerant that my systems needs he left my house without providing any other option. I decided to cancel the contract with them because why have a contract with a provider that can't service my system, when I called to cancel I was transferred to a supervisor to try and keep my business, he explained to me that the type of refrigerant that I needed is outdated and can be found at up $700 per lb, I asked him why I wasn't given that option when the tech came to service my system and decided to leave my AC at risk of stop working? he told me that that was something that he will need to explain to the tech and train him on how to handle a situation like that. That explanation did not seem to me like a very professional explanation and ended up canceling my contract for service. After that call I started searching for the Freon that supposedly my system needed and find it online, a can with 3 lbs for about about $120. I got really upset over the fact that the supervisor at Bell Brother did not give me truth facts. I hired another company to come and service my AC, a different problem was found that Coil Condenser had a stoppage. second company fixed my problem and when the test for system leakages was done I was told that my air ducts are in perfect condition I was told the test done on the ducts showed no leakage and air ducts are working like new. No Business to BB from me.Review from Anita P

We were expecting a bill of less than $300 but had to spend $10,000+ to repair the mistakes of their technician. We needed to have a bathtub stopper replaced. Everything else was working fine. Within the first ten minutes the technician had broken a copper pipe with what he claimed was minimal force. The technician said ********* could not fix the broken pipe because ********* does not do that kind of work and he left. I had a contractor take a look and it was his opinion that the technician used excessive force. The contractor said standard practice should have been for the technician to come to the home owner and explain the situation and explain the options before forcing the pipe and breaking it. In order to fix **** **** mistake the tub had to be removed which required removing the tile around the tub and the first row of tiles on the floor. I have contacted ********* multiple times. To discuss their remedy for their expensive mistake. They asked for a copy of the contractors quote which I provided. They have not returned my contacts since them. I havent heard back from them in over a week.Review from Bruce P

Bell Brothers service people are very nice and professional. Unfortunately when it comes to selling Parts they are 5 to 6 times higher than normal retail parts. Beware that's where they make their money
