I would like my Facebook account to be restored. It was suspended due to an i******** account that is not mine that somehow was able to link itself to my Facebook profile. This is fraud and I was not even notified. There is no way to reach anyone to resolve this. I tried messaging Facebook on i********, t*****, and X. I tried emailing any email I found on the internet. Nothing. No response. I can't file a dispute because it says to log into the i******** account and follow instructions. Well, it is not my i******** so I can't log into it. What am I supposed to do? I am hoping the BBB can get in touch with them somehow. I read the only way to possibly fix this, is to sign up for the Meta Verified account on I********. I tried but am on some waiting list. Is this a money grab? I need to pay the $15 per month so I can talk to a person to get this resolved? Please help, I am about to lose 16 years of memories and pictures and have no way to dispute this.

This complaint has to do with Facebook. I have 2 accounts that were hacked. After repeated useless attempts to get back into my account through Facebook channels I called what I thought was a help desk number ************. I spoke to a shady character who confirmed my account was hacked by someone laundering money through several US banks into Nigeria. this person asked me for personal information such as my date of birth a banking information which I refused to provide.he then proceeded to tell my personal assets would be seized. Facebook as to be held accountable for all the numerous security breaches and I want the perpetrators that hacked my account also held responsible and finally I would like my accounts restored. Thank you.

-I received the following message when trying to login to my Facebook acct of 15+ years on 6/9/24 advising me to login to my "linked I******** account" to appeal, but I have never had an I******** acct "**********" or any other. I created 1 in an attempt to resolve this issue but it rejects the identifying info because it was never my account! I have 3 Facebook business pgs associated with my personal account. I've never had any suspensions or trouble with Facebook in all these many years and need my account access restored as soon as possible: "We suspended your account Your Facebook account was suspended because your I******** account ********** doesn't follow our rules. You have 160 days left to appeal. Log into your linked I******** account to appeal our decision." - I downloaded the attached Activity log from FB & it clearly shows that my account was accessed from sites in Vietnam and Maryland prior to the decision to disable my account. I am in TN & have never been to either of those places & do not know anyone in these places. Clearly different IP addresses were used as mine is *************. -Someone sent phishing links to 2 of the business pgs claiming a "copyright issue" in the week prior to the suspension, and I believe that one of the admins responded to it which may have led to this problem. -I submitted a complaint to FB and IG via email and a form on the IG acct. I provided copies of my driver's license and Passport to IG which were rejected by ************** because "**********" was never my account and it is not possible for me to know what identifying information was used to create this fraudulent account. -I also received a notice from P***** about disabling a link to my financial info which apparently the hacker(s) were attempting to use for "bookings" (?) & that my "Billing Agreement with Meta Platforms, Inc. has been cancelled." I never used my P***** or Facebook account for any "bookings," only to boost posts via advertising on a biz pg.

Meta support is useless in resolving issues. My child is trying to purchase an in-game currency and Meta is blocking it because he isn't 13. The game is rated for 10 and up. The headset is advertised towards children, however, they do not allow children to play on the headsets and threaten to lock accounts if you allow your child to play on yours. This is false advertising and bait and switch as they advertise for kids but don't allow kids to play.

On June 25th, 2024 my Facebook account was hacked. The hackers changed my phone number and email associated with my account. They have started posting cars for sale on my page and local community pages. Facebook offers ZERO assistance to get my account back. Their help center has links to click if you think you account had been hacked and compromised but those links eventually bring tou back to two options: entering your password - which the hacker changed, or having a reset link sent to your email- which the hacker also changed. There is no way to truly notify Facebook of the overtake of my account which is resulting in my name being used to fraud people in my community. I have been hearing about similar experiences over and over and Facebook seems to make zero effort to protect it's clients. This needs to be addressed.

To whomever it may concern,My name is ************************* and I am a U.S. citizen writing to in distress you from my vacation in the *********** because on June 21st, 2024 at around 7:30 AM ******************** Time), my Instagram account with a sizable following containing years of memories, conversations, and projects and that I use to contact friends, family, business partners/fellow content creators, and my audience was wrongfully disabled by Instagram and Meta's bot detection algorithms. My account is a crucial part of my day-to-day life and has been for the last five years. I went through Instagram's automated appeals process and the automated system made the decision to shut down my account as it believes my account to be a robot.I am incredibly desperate as I need my account to connect with countless friends and other appointments that I unfortunately have no other means of contacting. I also plan on using writing and content projects that I have posted on my account to supplement my college applications for the high school class of 2025. I am deeply worried and desperate, especially since this happened to me while traveling in a foreign country. The information identifying my account are as follows -Username: @vxxnsan E-mail Linked to Account: ******************** Phone Number: ***************** I also have attached evidence that I have attempted to provide to Instagram/Meta that I am not a robot, being a testimony from a colleague of mine who is verified on their platform, ***************** (@officialjiawei), which any human reviewer should be able to read and see that I am not a robot.I humbly implore you for your help, BBB. If this doesn't prove to Meta or Instagram that I'm just a first-generation American boy that has practically lived on their platform for the most formative years of my life, I do not know what will.Thank you so much for your time and I hope you have a good day.Sincerely,Vien *****************************

My name is *****************************, I run ads for my comedy show Cal Comedy Underground through facebook. My account id is: **************** I noticed some discrepancies between my personal financial records and what I was being charged. Facebooks system makes it very challenging to tell what ads and when you are being charged for them which is why I didn't notice this earlier. However, after painstakingly combing through all my transactions of all time ever, I seemingly confirmed my theories. The sum of the costs of all of my ads for Cal Comedy Underground going back to when I started running ads in July of 2021 is $5021.75. My only other meta transaction during that entire time was running an ad for ********************* Comedy which cost ****** bringing my grand total to $5261.71 I downloaded my full transaction report from Facebooks website. I have subtracted the 3 payments from 2019 and 2020 (before I started my company, not sure what those were for because I swear Ive never paid meta for anything except ads but whatever), but that still leaves my total amount charged at $6251.96 which is an extra $990.22 than I should have been charged. To me, that's a lot of money, so it would be really great if I could get an explanation for this massive discrepancy. In case you're curious I've attached my ****** sheets spreadsheet I did my math on.I originally sent this message to every facebook support email/chatline I could find. I got no response because facebook DOES NOT HAVE customer support. As a business I am spending money with, shouldnt they be required to?Long story short, I want my $990.22 back. I have attached a spreadsheet to show the work I did, I had to do it by hand because facebook made it impossible to do it through their system.

My name is ***********************. I sell items on Meta's Facebook Marketplace, and have been doing so for the last few years. Meta's terms say that payment for sold items will occur about 5-7 days after an item has been properly delivered to the buyer. Since April 2024, I have not received any funds for 9 orders marked delivered. See screenshots for examples of delivered items with estimated payout date.Next to each order (in another screenshot), you will see it says "Estimated Payout: ** DateXX" with the oldest non-payment payout date being April 29, 2024. When I reach out to their support team, I get one response from a bot named "****", and then they stop replying. It has been months of this. They currently owe me $233.45 USD. My last payout was on March 6, 2024.Here are the order #s: Order #: *************** Order #: *************** Order #: **************** Order #: *************** Order #: **************** Order #: **************** Order #: *************** Order #: *************** Order #: **************** They have been holding my rightfully owed funds for 2+ months, stealing from their users at this point.

Reference the case ID: **************** My account was hacked on 6/24/24 and I cannot get anyone from META to help me resolve the issue. I have followed the prompts they have sent me and there is no remedy. My marketing person is still on my business FB account, and she has tried to help me resolve the issue by talking to ******* on 6/25/24 for over an hour. I have to pay her for this service, because she is the only one who now has privileges to even talk to someone at META about my account. This is affecting my business account as well as my personal account. This is just bad business that no one can help me with a remedy. I cannot even try to get a new FB account because my email is associated with the hacked account. I cannot delete the hacked account either because I cannot login to gain any access. This is horrible and I am worried my information is not out in the cyber world and I have no control over it and no support from FB or META to resolve this issue.
