    Tech support from SolarEdge is basically nonexistent. Buyer beware!Twice in the first 14 months, problems with the SolarEdge inverters in my purchased (not leased) residential system (47 panels, 2 inverters, 2 batteries) have caused the system to operate at 50% capacity for weeks, costing me over $500 in unneeded payments to ****** so far - I'm still trying to get action on my latest outage. I tried calling the company - they will not talk to me, only to an installer. I tried online chat - there doesn't appear to be any way to chat with a person, only the chat bot, which *****. I opened a case via email, to be told that the installer needs to call them to resolve the issue. This is not poor customer service, it is nonexistent customer service. Had I known this when buying the system, I would not have bought SolarEdge.

    The company is very poor to work with, their equipment fails and they refuse to troubleshoot over the phone with the system owner.I am being forced to have a tech come out and charge $350, once the replacement part arrives I am then being forced to pay another $350 to have it installed.

    If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We have made multiple attempts to customer support and have had no returned communication, we've tried email and phone. Even the chat feature has provided no success. Our inverter isn't working, and we have another that needs to be installed. This has taken over 6 months now. External companies won't touch equipment that isn't there's so we are stuck paying for something that doesn't even work. Furthermore, I received an ****** **** when we shouldn't have to pay for electricity because we have so many panels!

    This company is no good Ill give the a zero stars customer service no good ladys that answer the phone dont want to help you they dont back there warranty take to long inverters go out every year for me claim is made in ******* but is not is from ***** dont want to install it I got to find a installer but companies dont want to touch other companies c*** So Im stuck with a defective unit that they send on top of the arguing for it this ladys that answer must get pay to be bad service they dont want to talk to you anymore they hang up on you people need to stay away from this company I dont know what to do with this company a court day may be in the future with them I would put my email but they dont let me STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

    I would honestly leave zero if i could. They are the absolute worst inverter company on the market. they hire minimum wage tech support who don't have a clue about the equipment. Installing solar edge inverters was the worst mistake I've ever mad in business.. buyer beware

    Their customer service is terrible. The customer service is very slow and do not honor their warranty policy.

    ******** company and they should be avoided. We have experienced multiple inverter failures and their support is terrible. Optimizers also fail on a regular basis and they are extremely difficult to deal with. I feel bad for our customers having to deal with loss of production and several inverter failures. Do not use SolarEdge!!! They are a complete letdown.

    Totally dissatisfied with Solar Edge customer service. All we did was change our internet service and can no longer monitor the system on their mobile app. Discovered a disconnect that cost us over $1,000 when it stopped transmitting data to electrical provider so important to check. Worked with installer and followed all instructions to update internet provider.. Feeling desperate I called and they simply left a message passing the buck - something about the internet provider. Im sure its not ********* issue. I need to somehow tell the system to connect to the new provider. Should be simple but my equipment is older and their instructions so not work. I know its a simple fix if they would just care enough to work with us. But then again they simply do not care. Note: equipment is fine just one inverter stopped at year 9. My issue is with ineffective customer service. I dont know what to do now.

    I bought solar equipment that is managed by solar edge equipment. I have not had solid results or functionality since it was installed. I call to place a service request, and I get a run around and I don't have time to sit on the phone to listen to their representatives ask me to do the exact thing that I just did using the software and since I've done it so many times to get connectivity, I think I could take the ***** *** with zero training. At this time I have literally no idea if my panels are working, if the energy company is billing correctly or anything else. What a horrible way to conduct business with poor customer support and no possibility of getting anything that is helpful I would tell people to stay away from this company and solar technology all together. It seems like it's in the scam phase of its existence.
