Had a check engine light on so brought it here for a diagnostic and boy did I regret that! Dropped off the car early in the morning knowing of the $219 diag fee aswell as it most likely staying for the day. Got a call a few hours later that 2 codes popped up 1 was the spark plugs 2nd was a bad catalytic converter . Unfortunately i dont just have 4 grand to spend on my car right now so decided to go through with just the spark plugs . They said itll be ready first thing in the morning thats fine. But no after 3 days yes i said 3 DAYS ! , My car was ready. They didnt even bother calling me i was the one who called for an update, since 3 days for spark plugs just seems ridiculous. So I go to the dealership. Waited like 40 min to be checked out. I was told the 219 diag fee would go towards my service if i went ahead with whatever was wrong with my car ( which i did ). When it came time to pay the bill i was thinking $200 tops right but to my surprise i get hit with a $600 bill! I tell the advisor why so much! He says because the diagnostic came out for the catalytic converter and since I wasnt doing that service i was paying the diagnostic fee aswell as the spark plugs! That makes no sense! 2 codes came out and i went through with one of those services/codes that came up in ******** check so the 219 should go towards my bill! If i wouldve known that from the beginning i wouldnt have done the service there to begin with ! To have them "work" on my car for 3 DAYS for a simple service then get lied too and slapped with a $600 bill !

I bought my Used Car at Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills.-They did not show me the Pre-contract disclosure before signing -They refused to remove the **** Theft deterrent ************** *********** -They also did not disclose the car had a factory warranty on it and sold me A SVS contract and Driveway.-They Did not disclose the car had an accident. On the contract it just say NA Firstly, I was met with an aggressive and pushy salesperson who continuously attempted to upsell me on various dealer-added options that I explicitly stated I did not want. Despite my clear instructions, these options were added to the final purchase agreement. This unethical practice not only undermined my trust in your dealership but also resulted in an unnecessary financial burden for me.Furthermore, the information provided by your sales staff was misleading and deceptive. I was assured that certain features and benefits would be included in the vehicle I intended to purchase, only to find out later that those promises were false. This kind of dishonesty is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and integrity on the part of your dealership. The unprofessional and dishonest conduct I encountered at Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills not only wasted my valuable time but also caused me considerable stress and financial loss. As a customer, I expect to be treated with honesty, respect, and transparency throughout the sales process, and I firmly believe that your dealership failed to meet these basic expectations.I kindly request that you take immediate action to address my concerns and rectify the situation. Specifically, I expect a prompt refund for the dealer-added options I did not want or authorize.I look forward to receiving your prompt response to address my concerns and provide a resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I purchased my Hyundai Ioniq from this dealership in February of 2018 from Mission Hills Hyundai. The dealer had an alarm/gps system wired to the vehicle and did not properly uninstall it when I declined to pay for the add-on at purchase.Earlier this year my car was experiencing electrical issues. After diagnosing the vehicle at a local shop I had it serviced at Hyundai of DTLA which identified the wiring as "after-market" work. I was able to have the vehicle repaired under warranty but only after having the after-market wiring removed at my own expense of $570. After the repair was complete the Hyundai technician explained that the after-market wiring he had removed was the cause of the electrical issues. In the words of the technician:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tech inspected vehicle and found an aftermarket alarm system ( possible tracking device) , Tech found wires tapped into junction box under neath dash and wires spliced into OBD2 reader . Unit installed was causing a slow drain in system causing battery to fail at some point over time . Wire and colors i don't remember off the top of my head. Tech removed components and re-wired back to Hyundai specs.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As a result these were my out of pocket expenses:My total out of pocket expenses:$250 Original Diagnostic at RPM Auto Repair (***************)$570 Diagnostic and Repair at Hyundai of Downtown *********** $420 Replacement Auxiliary Battery at Hyundai of Downtown *********** note: vehicle was purchased under my wife's name: ************, but I am the sole driver of this vehicle I am filing the claim

On December 26th I visited Keyes Mission Hills Hyundai and got service from *********************. This rep suggested I spend $480 on unnecessary maintenance on my vehicle and I declined when I did so he threatened to have the warranty on my vehicle canceled. I did not give in to this high pressure sales tactic and I doubt he can even enforce such a tactic I am going to look into legal representation to see if these high pressure sales techniques are even legal

On November 30, 2022 I brought my Palisade to get serviced for it's ****** mile oil change. ***** was my service advisor. I showed up at about 8:10 am and by 8:25AM the vehicle had been taken by the service technician. As I got into my vehicle after being serviced and drove away, I noticed that my cameras had been unplugged. I turned around and met with ***** and told him that it didn't make me feel comfortable that the cameras were unplugged. I told him that I was going to have my vehicle checked to see if the work was actually done. When I got home, I started going through it and noticed that it was so obvious that work had not been done that I started taking pictures which I am attaching a few for your reference. THe caps on the brake calipers drain plugs were all dirty and show no signs of ever being removed. The battery cables were never removed and cleaned or treated, and were still dusty. The engine filter had bugs and dirt and it look just like the new filter the dealer had placed when I purchased the vehicle. I removed the cab filter and it was an old one, which I am going to replace myself because the smell good spray that was sprayed into the vehicle clogged the pores on the dirty cabin filter. I am currently looking for a business to test my oil and fuel to check if in fact the additives were added, ***** CAT is sending me test tubes to send for analysis. Hopefully the results can tell me if in fact the additives were used since ***** stated that my vehicle builds slush and the additives were supposed to clean the crankcase. The work I was charged for was not performed and First he wanted me to refund me $150, I told him that I was not happy with that and that I would like to speak to ***** the *** He asked what I would be happy with and I told him that at least it should be $500.

my car was repaired at Mission hills Hyunday in October 2021. The engine was replaced under a factory warranty and a one-year new warranty was given to me on this reconditioned engine. dealer shamelessly stole $500 diagnostic money from me when the engine had a factory warranty and charging $500 for diagnostics was a rip-off and unjustified and for sure illegal. however, I swallowed it. sometime in June 2022 same car broke again, again the engine. it was towed to them. it was supposed to be an easy replacement but I was too naive to think like that. service adviser was assigned to me named *********. with him, my problems started immediately. first, he told me my battery needed to be replaced at some $450 charge because it was weak. I told him I have a brand new battery that I paid $85 and all they need to do is to charge the battery or jump-start the car. however, he used his dirty technics to stick me with another unjustified and unnecessary charge. battery replacement did not resolve any problem. next, he suggested replacing a knock sensor. I firmly opposed him saying the knock sensor cannot be the problem, it is the engine. however, he insisted on it again and I agreed to do the job after his assurance that it will fix the problem. however, he failed again. he finally stated that its the engine, which he knew from the beginning but he had a mission to sell me unnecessary services and parts first. next came delayed negotiations with the manufacturer where Hyundai declined the warranty because the dealer cheated them on the initial engine replacement authorization. instead of replacing the whole engine, they replaced only the block and now there is a conflict. my wait time for any reply was tremendously long. if I was lucky to talk to ********* he would promise to get back to me soon and he would lie again and again. I talked to another person about this issue and asked him to relay this issue to the general manager but he failed to call me too. its 5th month.

However i still get denial for repair. They are suggesting me a dead end, to call manufacturer and complain. Just tactics to deter responsibility from them. I think my next move is to contact my lawyer. Or file a small claims. Thank you for follow up

I purchased a vehicle from Keyes mission Hills. When it was purchased they pre-installed an aftermarket alarm on the vehicle and charged an exorbitant amount for this alarm. They would not take the alarm off and sell the car with out the alarm. It was forced. While the vehicle was still under factory warranty, and thus this alarm that was installed by the dealer would have been covered under warranty, it malfunctioned. Since this shady dealership installed an aftermarket alarm, other Hyundai delaers will not honor the warranty. We were told it would be covered by any Hyundai from Keys when we bought the car. This is not true. The alarm failed and needed to be removed at an expense of $378. We have attempted to contact Keyes Mission Hills Hyundai to remedy the situation. We have called 5 times and left multiple messages. No one bothers to return our calls. I am sure if we were trying to buy something they would call back right away.

My 2003 Hyundai died and needed over $4000 work done (computer). Long story short, I needed a new car. So I went and purchased a 2016 ******** Beautiful car. This is the problem. They overcharged me for this car. The advertised price was $14,000 and some change. By the time the deal was done, they financed me at $18,600.79, with a payment of $515 a month. More than the $350 for a 2023 model. But this is based on credit. I get it. The problem is, when it comes to refinance, companies will not touch it, because I found out the car is NOT worth $18,000, it is only worth $11,000, based on what I was told by 5 finance companies ******************** And from what the paper work attached is saying, I will be paying $38,191.80 on a $11,000 car. I cannot get anyone in finance to call me back. The only people who answer over there is the sales department, but that is because its all about making sales and money. The ******* company is the people who financed my car. I have no problem with them, but they told me, in order to re-finance I would have to go back to dealership and the dealership told me that I would have to go to finance company or credit union. I want to lower my monthly car payment to something that won't break my wallet, that all. And I want them to charge me what the car is really worth. They oversold this car by $7,800.00.

This has been going on for over 5 months. I was having a warranty issue with my engine and oil consumption. I went through all the steps . At one point I was told that a flush in my system needed to take place , I arrived to pick up the car with the understanding that a flush took place . it had not and no one told me that . so when the problem started again , they told me they had to do a flush and that is was not done when they said it was. I then finally got the engine replaced and then I was told the warranty doesn't cover the additional items. I was charged an additional 1700 dollars. After the work was suppose to be completed the engine light came back on. at this point I returned the car to the dealership in hopes that the issue would be resolved and then I was told me keys were misplaced. At this point I feel like I am being taken advantage of because I am a woman and they assume I don't know any better.
