BUYER BEWARE, BUYER BEWARE, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!I will start with the main reason for reviewing STG Auto and the worst part of this whole ordeal, I try not to give bad reviews but they are very deserving because now they are messing with my credit, which I have worked very hard to keep clean.Looking at my credit report, I found 8 hard inquiries from my one transaction with STG Auto, (1 on the day of my visit, 4 the next day and another 3 inquiries 5 days after I had signed my agreement). I'm now in the process of disputing these inquiries so they don't stay on my report for 2 years. In one day I had the most inquiries from one dealer than in the course of my life!!! ***? Can you imagine if I had chosen not to buy the car from ******* all started with an extremely terrible experience with the sales person *****, who had the *** look, Poor, Hungry and Desperate. He approached me in the parking lot, did not introduce himself until I asked him "who the f*ck are you?" when he tried to get my phone number. That should have been my clue to get away from that salesperson but they had the car I wanted and I simply needed to get to the deal. They have horrendous business practices. Regarding the deal, they added aftermarket products (some of which were not installed in the car), gap insurance and warranty, all of which I declined but it took over an hour to get them to comply by removing the add ons. A lot of weird back and forth from that ***, when they say "work with me" it means mess your finances with these unnecessary add ons. Despite signing over 20 pages of document, the copies I received did not include my finance agreement. I texted ****** *****, the sales manager. But it took another 2 days, 3 phone calls and two emails to the finance department to get a copy of the agreement. If they dont have the car you want, WALK AWAY. Make sure there is only one hard inquiry for the credit report!!!!!

The deal was made on 03/08/25. No multiple inquires was submitted , The Finance team submitted the X=client to 1 Bank and due to the lack on the down payment and the negative equity on the trade in addition to the high credit card debit with low FICO scores, *** had to send the customer to 2 banks to get approval.

There was never 8 inquiries and all the accessories were optional to the customer and he was not charged for any.

Hi There,You are incorrect. My purchase at ******** was on 3/16, your "one inquiry" resulted in 3 hard inquiries on my ***ort. Duplicate inquiries occurred on 3/21 which resulted in a total of 6 hard inquiries on my credit ***ort. Only one loan option was presented to me which makes it even more bizarre, they should have told me about the other options so that I know that we picked the best. I had to come into your office to dispute these inquiries and was provided with a letter to contact the credit bureaus. Again, *** has HORRIBLE business practices - it took over an hour to remove the optional accessories because your *** kept arguing with me and leaving them on as if I wasnt going to notice, it was ludicrous. To be clear, I now have 6 hard inquiries on my credit and will have to go through a dispute process with the bureaus to have them removed - otherwise they stay on the ***ort for 2 years.Instead of constantly claiming that you did nothing wrong, look at the hard evidence and improve your practices so that no one else has to go through this c*** I certainly will never recommend anyone to do business with you.

The worst car buying experience I have ever had and I have bought MANY cars over the years. These amateur used car salesman really undermine and insult your intelligence. During Christmas holiday 2024, I merely inquired about a used *** 530 series for sale at their ********** location. I was enthusiastic at first but when I arrived, things got weird. The origin contact was *****, one of the sales managers. However, I was greeted by ******. No problem. But he escorted to am office and briefly chatted with ****** for five minutes. He appears motivated to see me buy but then leaves me alone in the office for thirty minutes (very inconsiderate). Another salesperson shows up and introduced herself She had no clue or communication from the other two culprits and knew nothing about ****. She said she owned one which I didn't believe. She leaves the office pretending she was going to speak with ***** She never came back. In total 2 hours I was left unattended. I tip toed out in a hurry. It was totally improper and unprofessional. They called 1 hour later and didn't even notice that I left. ***** was an arrogant individual who brought no value or enthusiasm to the table I have worked sales in the past for years and it behooves me how badly their location is operated. Stay far away from ***. The fact that I excellent credit didn't faze these idiots. Two weeks later, I visited a very high end dealers in ******************* and left with a beautiful 2019 *** 530e series with absolutely No Money Down!! The Reddit and Yelp negative reviews are all accurate complaints. No shame in their game

By far the worst dealership I have ever been a part of. All I wanted to do was sell my car for the price that I wanted, once they first texted me on offer for my car, they had offered me $22,940 for the car and I rejected because it was to low, then counter-offered with $24,500, I then told them I will think about it and they said I had 3 days to accept the offer. Then next day I told them can you guys do $25,000 and they AGREED. All I had to do was accept the offer and I did. Then the General manager ***** called me, which by the way is a complete liar and all he cares about is taking money from you, trust me do not believe anything he says, he will just give you the same answer, "I have been doing this for 25 years I know what I am doing". He called me to let me know that their gonna drop the price from $25,000 to $23,000. I am like why I thought we agreed to 25k? He then give me an excuse saying there is something wrong with the car and I am like first of all, my car is brand new just got it appraised and it was in great condition and you have not even looked at my car yet, so how would you know? Then all of a sudden he told me that he had a TRAINEE negotiate the numbers with me this whole time, I'm like how is that my problem, we agreed to 25k that makes no sense, he even knew he was wrong and was taking blame I said I am sticking with the 25k and he then called me back 20 minutes later and AGREED AGAIN. Then once they finally got my car and looked at it they called me again and said there is something wrong with your battery, I am like how I have had the car for almost 2 years it has ****** miles on it and I have never had any problems at all, so that is when I knew they were giving me any excuse not to buy my car for the right price. Then I said you know what just return my car I do not want to do the deal again and they forced me to come pick it up which is 2 HOURS AWAY. Stay AWAY from ***** the liar and ****** the employee, There is so much for me to say.

absolutely horrible experience here. I saw a ****** outback that I was interested in on their website. I texted back and forth with a sales rep who told me that the car was service ready and available to test drive/buy. however, when I got there and asked to see that car, I was told that the car was not at all available and was never available in the first place! they then proceeded to try to upsell me a different ****** and were incredibly aggressive. one *** even followed me out to my car and wouldn't leave until I rolled down my window and talked to him. do NOT trust this dealership. they will do anything to get you in the door and then proceed to s**** you over.

I bought a 2020 Alfa ***** in January 2024 for my sons birthday. I was not given a floormat for the drivers side and called within 48 hours to notify them. The manager personally told me they would mail it out to me since I lived 2 hours away. I called back a week later only to be given more lip service. Its been 11 weeks and Ive called every week since, spoken with every manager and am told each time they would send it to me. All lies. Avoid this place like the plague, they are liars and its a joke,

I went to STG Auto Group in ********* ********** to look at a 2020 Lexus LX200. Prior to getting to the dealership, I received no less then 5 message, email and test.I decided to purchase the car and was quoted a purchase price of approximate $7,000 over the car price The breakdown included items that were already on the car, such as window tinting and door seals. I refused to pay for those item and after many hours, the price was dropped. However I still paid a "doc" fee which I've never done before, but I was extremely tired and I liked the car. During the sale, I was assured that there were minor scratches on the call but that they could all be buffed out. When I finally got an appointment for the service, a scratch on the hood of the car was still there. The manager was very nice and took its back to the tech, He returned saying that it wasn't a scratch and that the hood needed to be painted. The manager said that he needed approval from the Sales department before be could paint the car. He sent an email to sales requesting approval. The next day I called the sales manager to ask him about the painting of the hood. He said that he would "look in to it" and get back to me in a few hours. He never retired my call so over the next few days I called him several times and left messages because he would not pick up the phone. I also sent a message to the *** Store manager. No one has ever returned my call.I called the service department and they said that Sales hadn't responded so I went in to the dealership later that day but the Sale manager was not in. I spoke with the Service manager and he that Sales finally responded and had denied the claim.I believe that *** knew about the damage and kept it from me. I'm a 69 year old woman and I'm afraid I trusted the dealership to be up front with me about the condition of the car.Can anything be done about the way STG Auto Group treats consumers?

      (1) I bought a second-hand ***** HRV 2019 for my daughter from STG Bellflower on March 18th. On the same day, my daughter discovered the sunroof problem and others, so she immediately informed the salesperson ******. At that time, he was quite cooperative and agreed to send repair requests to the service department in ********** (2) One month later in April when most of the problems have been repaired, only leaving the sunroof without arrangement. Then the salesperson started to have no response to our inquiries. The service in ********* could not start the work because they did not receive approval from the sales in ********** for the repair quote sent by the service in *********. In desperation, we found the store manager ***** in ********** on April 27 for help and he promised but he has never made it happen. On May 3, I went to Service in ********* again. In front of me, the service manager sent the same email again to the sales in ********** for the quote approval and promised to notify me once the approval had been received. However, no news so far. I am exhausted at such buying a used car from STG Auto!(3) The dealer of used cars sells "As is", but STG Auto can't sell cars with problems without notifying the buyer and not being responsible for repairs! Sales in ********** should be mostly responsible for the problems with my car's sunroof. We reported the problem on the same purchasing day, and the salesperson agreed to repair it and listed it as one of the items for repair. Why do they hide, retreat, and mutual push now? Am I still treated as a customer? As the buyer we can only take a small part of the responsibility that we should have found someone to do an inspection before we bought a car from STG Auto. Can someone help us?

On April 24th, I visited your store with the intention of purchasing a white 2022 ***** Odyssey. During my visit, I communicated clearly to your sales representative, that my budget for the vehicle was $34,500. Despite this, he offered a price of $35,250, which exceeded my budget. However, I left my contact information with him, expressing my seriousness as a potential buyer and my willingness to reconsider if the price could meet my budget.Subsequently, ******** initiated a series of text conversations with me, during which I reiterated my budgetary constraints. On May 3rd, he assured me over a phone call that he would make the necessary arrangements to accommodate my budget and finalize the deal. With this assurance, I made plans to visit your dealership on Saturday, May 4th, to complete the purchase.Preparing for the purchase, I went to the bank to procure a cashier's check, as my debit card had a daily spending limit of $20,000. I arranged for transportation, considering the safety of my pregnant wife, and traveled a considerable distance from ******** to your at ***********Upon arrival, I was dismayed to find that ******** had reneged on his commitment. He recalculated the pricing, stating figures far beyond my budget, ranging from $35,500 to $39,000. This abrupt change in pricing contradicted his earlier assurances and left me feeling deceived and disrespected.I want to emphasize that my dissatisfaction does not stem solely from the inability to reach a mutually agreeable price. Rather, it arises from the unprofessional conduct displayed by your sales representative, who not only wasted our time and resources but also attempted to manipulate the terms of the deal upon our arrival.

******** did speak with this customer over the phone. He did offer listing price, sales tax, license, registration and no add ons. However he did not promise a specific number over the phone or through text as the customer keeps claiming.

The other complaints are 100% TRUE. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! I am actually here right now, they have an on going thing where soon after getting a vehicle from them youll have some type of issue, for me it was check ************* pressure not even one week after getting the car from them. Then they had the audacity to threaten me w/ a repossession before my first payment was even due (its still not due mind you) then when I called the bank & told them what was happening then all of a sudden theyre calling me apologizing saying they mixed me up w/ another customer. They are liars, the manager is one of the worst actually and they truly need to be shut down because no one around here seems to even know what the word accountability means. Literally went to try to talk to the finance team about getting my money back & just giving them this busted car back and literally not one person other than the receptionist was here. Unprofessional, incompetent, rude & irritating. STAY AWAY!

This customer purchased back in June of 2023. There were a couple of service issues that came up upon purchase (A/C, tail light, and exhaust fumes) all of which were repaired as promised less than 2 weeks later. We also sold the customer a warranty in case she had any other issues in the future. There has been absolutely no communication from the customer since. I'm sure she is frustrated because her vehicle was repossessed by the bank but this has nothing to do with us and is not our fault. Especially that this purchase was made nearly a year ago. Repossession comes from not paying the monthly payment.
