I need to contact the person responsible for this dealership. They sold me a 2015 Dodge Caravan which had problems with the driver's window regulator but to my surprise they did not fix this this at that dealership even though I had bought factory and gap insurances, they sent me to another dealer in ********* but I had to go with an appointment and they didn't answer the phone never, I got so angry that I decided to cancel the gap and factory insurance and they were very kind to help me cancel, however they only canceled the gap. I don't know why not the factory, but on top of this, the gap company after cancelled the gap told me that they do not process the refund that the dealer was the one who had to do it, and when I went to the dealer they told me the other way around and after a few trips back and forward, it turns out that they close LA Auto Exchange - Montebello right now there is another dealer in its place and I no gap insurance, no refund, and no Windows regulator repairs.Initial Complaint

I bought my 2019 ***** accord from this dealership. i tried trading my car Monday, when they appraised my car, they asked me if I knew my car had structural damage. I was like no way. they showed me the Carfax, and yes, it was reported the structural damage was reported JUNE 2021, I bought the car NOVEMBER 2021. they showed me a Carfax and made me sign a Carfax the day of my purchase, saying there was no damage, or repairs done to my car. they sold me a car with a value that was worth half. for 2 years I been driving a car I had no idea it was damage. with my family inside. they showed me a fake Carfax. I signed a fake Carfax the day of my purchase. I have copies. I have talked to a man, who said they would buy my car back. this was Monday now I'm getting ignored.Initial Complaint

Bought a 2021 ****** Maxima. We found out it was in an accident and they told us it wasnt. My son was with me, they even showed us a carfax yet the carfax must have been a fake, because we found out inquiring about another car and the carfax said it was in a wreck 2022. They lied, we tried getting a hold of them multiple times, even emailed and no response.Initial Complaint

I bought a car and was not told that it was in any accidents. I did fail to read the Carfax, my fault. When I purchased a vehicle, I paid $250 to be able to bring the car back within two business days. I took the car to an auto mechanic which he informed me the car had numerous oil leaks and had a damaged oil cooler/AC compressor. A total of $2750 worth of repairs was needed to the car. I took the car back on the second day before the timeline was up. They charged me a $500 restocking fee. Total loss for me was $850. 250 to sign the contract for return, $100 to pay my mechanic to check out the vehicle. and $515 restocking fee. I paid $865 and ended up with nothing. I would like the car dealership to return my $515, at least. This car was also in three accidents, which I was never told about.Initial Complaint

Financed a 2018 ****** CH-R with ***** miles from LA Auto Exchange in Montebello in January 2020. Since then, they said they would provide flooring for the trunk area of the interior (and never did). Said they would address a small area showing damage along the weather lining area of the back window and never did. More importantly, a month ago the car begin making a loud wiring sound which I then took to the ****** Dealership and they identified as a bad transmission and once more, they found accidental damage that had been covered up by bondo and paint! That nullified the warranty. LA Auto sold me a lemon, put no effort into making sure the car was fit for driving, and even tried covering up a prior accident. Ironically they have aggressively tried selling me on an extended warranty. ***, I wonder why? Unless they respond with a full admittance to their long time and obvious illegal and deceptive practices, I think I'll ***************** as many instances of this to prove a pattern with them and take them to court, with documents and sworn/signed affidavits as evidence. It's worth it for the chance of a high punitive damages judgment.Business Response

We have attempted to contact the customer. Before we can proceed with any type of resolution we need to understand the current number of miles on the vehicle. Additionally, accident history was clearly reported and disclosed to customer. He signed a CarFax report and AutoCheck reports, in addition to a Vehicle Disclosure and Statement of Facts. Nonetheless, we have reached out to the customer directly and await his response. We will glad work with customer to reach resolution.
Thank you!

I'm written and respectfully request an investigation to ** Auto Exchange in Montebello. Befote buying the car, I reviewed it, i drove it, and it seemed to be in great conditions for a used car. Two days after buying it, I noticed the a missing piece on the passenger side door. The reason I didn't noticed before was because they used a black tape and a black marker to hide it. I called the dealership and personally went to talk to them. They said they never noticed it before. Which is impossible, because if the car was cleaned, the tape would've fallen off, that's what happened to me. Second issue, within 5 months of purchase, I had to use the cars warranty, the car had broken parts that cause the engine light to turn on. I was with no car for 3 days. Third issue, I notice sound on my tire area, I took it to ***********, the brakes were so bad. He said he doesn't understand how this car was sold, the brakes were so ruined down that he didn't understand how I was not killed while driving. I'm more than sure they are selling cars that are not safe to ppl who are not that educated about cars like myself.Business Response

All our cars are sold in AS-IS condition if this customer noticed "a missing piece of the passenger side door" unfortunately that should have been brought up during the sale of the car. The second concern the customer has was taken care of by the warranty and we apologize for any small nuisance. The customer's final concern we disagree completely with we would never sell unsafe vehicles. All our cars are inspected by a professional mechanic. Brakes are considered wear and tear item....they should be replaced over time.
