Lark is very misleading. Download the app to see if insurance would cover services (Check my eligibility). After downloading the app which aign you up for an account instead of just checking for eligibility is very misleading. I honestly forgot about the accoint as it seem that the Coach is a Ai bot. Im so not interested in an Ai bot answering any of my questions. Received several emails to order my scale but Im not interested so I never ordered any devices and did any service via the app. I attempted to cancel the account and per their website there is a setting option in the app to cancel but the truth is the setting option is not available on the app to cancel your account. Visit their website for customer service and per their the website, customer service can not be contact via phone so you have to send a request. I received notice from Anthem that there is a claim for $93 for Lark Technology. Lark Technology did not rendered any medical service to file a medical claim to the insurance. I never engaged with anyone medical or their and no device or service was rendered. Reporting this as claim fraud to the insurance and will also submit a complaint to the employer promoting a company that is submitting false claims.

Hi ***, thank you for taking the time to share the details of your experience with us. Lark's Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is a preventive care benefit offered by your insurance, at no additional cost to you. By creating an account and installing the Lark app on your phone, you enrolled in the Lark DPP.  Your health plan provider was billed accordingly for your enrollment. However, as I can verify that you did not order the included devices in your program and have not engaged with your digital coach, we are willing to make an exception and reverse this claim for you. We have asked our claims and billing team to begin the process of reversing this claim, which may take some time to complete.

I would also like to thank you for letting us know you were unable to locate the option to delete your account. Reviewing the screenshot you provided, I can confirm that this article is slightly out of date, and we will update it with appropriate screenshots reflecting the updated path to the Settings menu in Lark. We will be happy to assist you with deleting your account directly, and will follow up with you in your active Support ticket to coordinate this with you.

I hope that helps, and we wish you the best of health!

Lark contacted me via email acting as if they were a part of my private insurance policy initiative for pre diabetes management. Their marketing strategy used was misleading to the consumer, stating that the insurance policy would cover the cost of the program. Since I have chronic health conditions and maxed out my out of pocket and deductible for in network in February I didnt think this would be an issue. Lark has billed my insurance company twice now for the same charges on different dates. The program is very dishonest and misleading. They billed Anthem first on 10/09/2024 in the amount of $93.00. Claim #********FB6005 Lark billed my medical policy for the same amount again on 10/21/2024 claim # *******BB0294

Thank you for reaching out to Lark. I understand how this may be alarming, and I'll be happy to explain what's going on here.

To clarify, our program is available through your health plan at no additional cost to you. Your health plan will be billed directly up to four times per year for things like enrollment costs, the cost of devices we send to you, or when you reach certain program milestones. When that occurs, you may receive an explanation of benefits from your health plan that describes those costs. The explanation of benefits may also indicate that you may be responsible for some expenses, but Lark will not bill you and you do not have to pay. In fact, even if your health plan has denied a claim for coverage, Lark will not bill you and you do not have to pay.

Our mission is to help people manage their health conditions, and Lark will continue to be available to you at no additional cost while you maintain participating insurance coverage.

I hope that helps to put your mind at ease. If you have any other questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to let us know. Have a wonderful day!

In 2013, while I was in ********** as a linguist helping the US Army, my husband has been approached by ************************* to invest in Lark technologies LLC. My husband was told that this is a great opportunity to make the best return in investment. $37,000 came out of our joint account and went to ******, LLC. For Lark Technologies. There is no contract giving the details of the transaction. There is no document completely signed by both parties. There is no acknowledgement of the receipt of $37,000.Since I am not specializing in this type of investement, the whole thing seems to me as a mystery. After 10 years, there is no profit in sight. I do not trust this transaction and I want the company to give us back our money. Since ************************* and Lark Tehnologies refuse to re-emburse us, we need your help. It would be greately appreciated if you can investigate this transaction..I am looking forward to hearing from you and I thank you for your help.Sincerely,***********************

The statement of complaint submitted by ************** is inaccurate and fraught with errors and omissions.  ************** and her husband jointly invested $27,000 (not $37,000) in JeeLee LLC by means of two investments, one in 2014 and the second in 2017, with the understanding that ****** would invest the funds in Lark Technologies.  ************** signed subscription documents typical for a private placement of securities, including representations and warranties that the Grimms were accredited investors, that they understood that there was no liquid market for the securities being purchased, that they understood that they would have to hold the securities for an indefinite period of time, and that they were able to bear the loss of their entire investment. The documents governing the investment in JeeLee do not permit the Grimms, or any other investor, to unwind the investment other than through a bona fide liquidity event. Because the investment is joint between ************** and her husband, the company advised ************** to consult with her husband and include him in the communications.  She refused, opting instead to file a nuisance complaint with the BBB. It appears that ************** is simply trying to unwind a legitimate investment in private securities without involving her husband, a joint owner of the shares. Her complaint is completely without merit.

I read about Lark in ************************ My current health insurance, Anthem, signed me up and Anthem said they would cover all Lark charges. Within a few minutes, I realized I was not technologically savvy enough to negotiate this program from my smart phone. I immediately asked Anthem to delete my new enrollment in Lark. I had literally been enrolled for only a few minutes. ********** person said she did not know how to delete my Lark enrollment and to just ignore any texts that Lark would be sending me. She said Lark would delete my enrollment automatically if I didn't respond. I never responded but have continued to receive texts from Lark. Lark then billed my ***************** In turn, Anthem now said I was responsible for paying Lark and that Anthem would not cover any services provided by Lark. The Lark billing also consisted of payments for services I never received. I never used the Lark program or ordered any equipment or even communicated with Lark in any way. I tried to discontinue my enrollment in Lark myself but there is NO WAY to do this! I tried using the Lark website to no avail. I also tried calling Lark customer service but never reached a ******************** customer service representative. The numbers listed on the website all lead to no one. Even Anthem was unsuccessful at contacting a real Lark representative!Their billing is a complete fraud. I want my Lark enrollment discontinued. I want Lark to stop billing my ***************** I want Lark to cease all communications with me.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am not aware of any duplicate complaint filed on my behalf.  I am not aware of my insurance company, Anthem, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, either.  While I did file a complaint with Anthem, they did not notify me of any contact with the Better Business Bureau.

    Sincerely,

    Hello,

First, please accept my apologies for the initial response that you received via the BBB. That response was made in error and meant as an administrative update to the BBB.

Most importantly, thank you for sharing your feedback with Lark. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with our program.  If you would like to speak with one of our customer support agents, please contact our support team via our webform (**************************************************************), indicate your preference for a phone call, and we will schedule a time.  As a result of your feedback, we have deleted your account, and unsubscribed you from program related communication. This will stop all future claims from being billed to your insurance company. Lark has not and will not bill you directly for the claim denied by your insurance company. Your explanation of benefits may reflect a balance owed to Lark but, again, Lark will not attempt to collect this amount from you. I hope this adequately resolves your concern. We wish you the best on your health journey.

I signed up with Lark Health on September 8, 2022, and tried the app for about a month. I cancelled the subscription through the App as instructed in their website around October 2nd. On November 2, 2022, I received an email from Lark Coach that I was officially enrolled. I did not re-enroll. I actually thought these were spam emails. Today, November 16, 2022, I received an email from my insurance company that the claim for Lark Health had been approved and was going to be paid. I have tried to contact the company by various means, contacted my insurance company which they gave a phone number to call, which goes to a voice mail. I see there are other complaints about this exact same thing. I just want this subscription which was NOT authorized by me to be cancelled so no more insurance claims will be filed.

Lark Technologies filed a fraudulent claim against my ****** medical insurance. I used their service many months ago, but cancelled their service in October 2021. The recently filed a new claim against my insurance which was not requested nor received. I cancelled their service, as instructed, by deleting their app from my phone.
