Wyndham Destinations is not honoring the specific verbiage of my contract ************ that awards me ******* timeshare points every year. The specific wording is "Owner understands that becoming a member of CLUB WYNDHAM Plus will be allocated ******* CLUB WYNDHAM Plus Points ("Points") on an annual basis with regard to the Smugglers Notch Fixed Deeded Week No. 25 in Unit AC15 and that the use year is January 1st through December 31st." All attempts to contact Wyndham Destinations about this have resulted in 'stonewalling' by the company.Initial Complaint

In October 2024, I attended a 3 hour timeshare presentation in ******* with the promise of a 3 day/2 night stay and a $75 gift card. When I was gone to the restroom, the sales ***resentative asked my pregnant girlfriend if she smokes pot. He also told her that it doesn't look like we're a good couple, and asked what her plans were for the future. Fast forward a few months, and when scheduling the vacation, I am notified an additional 120 minute presentation is required to get the free stay. Upon telling customer service I already attended a presentation in *******, they said a second one was required. This was not disclosed to us prior. The customer *** could tell I was upset so she gave me $100 gift card and an additional RCI vacation. But all I wanted was the original offer to be honored, and for our ***resentative to be corrected for his unprofessional behavior.Initial Complaint

I received a phone call on 2/5/25 from Wyndham Vacation *************) and spoke with ***** ******. During this ****, ***** and I discussed purchasing a vacation package to be used in ******* and several times during the call I advised ***** I would only be interested in purchasing if I could stay at *******************. He did state that would be 1 of the options available in the package, but I would have to make that booking with reservations after I received the confirmation email. Once I received the email, it stated the nightly taxes would be $14 - $29 and $0 parking fees and $0 resort fees. So I then called to book my trip. Unfortunately, that call seemed to be more of a bait and switch as ***** told me the taxes would be much higher than what my email stated. They would be over $60 a night and there would be a parking fee when we arrived at the hotel. Wyndham needs to honor my request to stay at ************ with the fees confirmed in my email. We are also Wyndham Platinum members and card holders. We really except better from Wyndham. Pull the call with ***** on 2/5/25 and confirm what I've stated here.Confirmation # ******** Your Offer 4 days/3 nights Vacation Offer to *******, ** - ********* Offer Expiration December 31, 2025 Offer Price $179.00 Nightly Room Taxes will be due at time of booking, these can range from $14 - $29 per night. Depending on the hotel you choose, additional fees may be due at check-in such as Resort Fees ranging from $0 and Parking Fees ranging from $0. On 12/20/24 I rented a room at the Super 8 in N.C on ***********. A $50 deposit that is refundable was required. The stay was short, I checked out within hours. When it was time to refund my card the rude clerk only refunded $40. He t tired to say I checked in with a pet, I never had any pet and asked him to review his cameras for wig ** he had refused. He has also refused to give me a number for management and is very nasty. If he has dine this to me I can imagine what he has done to others.II understand it's $10 but it's the principal of the situation. #Initial Complaint

We purchased a timeshare from Wyndham Vacations the contract that we signed stipulated 120 months with a FIXED interest rate our monthly payments were the same amount for the duration of the loan. We had an update to glean more information on how we could better utilize our vacation. We sat down with the sales representative and during our conversation my wife and I noticed a camera high up in the ceiling we asked are we being photograph and recorded? the answer to the question was yes. We told the sales representative that we were not informed of his actions and it is illegal to do this without our consent and we are not consenting to be photograph and recording. We were told that if we book vacation time out of the country we will have to pay five thousand dollars every time we travel outside the country and we said that is not in our contract. I was asked to sign a handwritten note that we had the discussion. A month later we received a letter that our monthly payments will be changing from $289 to $789 this change is not in our contract and we did not sign a new contract in regard to this change in terms.Initial Complaint

We are entirely trapped in a timeshare scam with Club Wyndham at *************************** in **********, **. Despite numerous emails, they have not responded or addressed our concerns. They have increased the points required to book vacations, making it harder to use our timeshare. We are also forced to book months in advance to secure anything worthwhile. Upon arrival, they push to schedule meetings that take up an entire day of what should be family time. Their tactics are high-pressure and dishonest. On one occasion, we specifically booked a beachside stay, but we were placed across the road instead when we arrived.Over time, benefits have been reduced, and parking is often unsafe. When we needed first aid for blistered feet, no one showed up. This lack of support is unacceptable, especially since both my husband and I have bad knees, and he suffers from spinal stenosis, making mobility increasingly tricky We are in our mid to late seventies, living on a fixed income, and the rising fees have become a financial hardship. This situation worsens as we are raising our late sons two teenage children after losing him in a tragic accident. None of our children want to take over the timeshare, as they recognize the burden it places on our family. They wont answer us, and we want to go out! Someone needs to answer us!Initial Complaint

My niece and I attended one of their 2 hr sessions in ************* **. It was a complete misrepresentation. They promised you things that is completely out of their hands. I was told that I can make a reservation anywhere and anytime because I am a Silver client. Bring silver doesnt matter. I tried thru Wyndham and I tried thru RCI and was not able to book what I wanted. They are very misleading. I am looking to sell it. We are paying for maintenance and we cant even book a simple vacation. So sad that they have employees/representatives misleading clients to their advantage. They said before purchase that it would be a soft credit run. That it would not hurt my credit. They ran our credit, they added a credit card placed the maximum we had then we will pay off the balance. I should have known better. Anyone when and if you attend listen well and read because its. It as easy as they say it is. Its a shame that they do that to us and I can only imagine others. Looking to sell.Initial Complaint

We have been trying to take advantage of Wyndham's advertised "Certified Exit" program, which we tried to initiate in May of 2024. We had one more trip planned this year, and the *** we spoke with advised to not start the process until that was completed. Upon completing our travel in October, we tried again to initiate the process. The *** we spoke to then advised our account was "flagged" because we were being ***resented by an attorney, which is not true. We did have an attorney send a letter a couple years ago asking about exit options at that time, which was never acknowledged in any way by Wyndham. We also thought this had been cleared up over a year ago, when a Wyndham *** advised they couldn't speak to us because of this issue. So here we are still trying to get them to acknowledge that we aren't being ***resented and allow us to proceed with this process. We sent an email as advised to their legal department, and have received no feedback, and don't even know if they received our letter. But all Wyndham will say is that we have to keep checking back, and it could take months. Meanwhile, a time share that is fully paid off and has only been used 4 times in over 20 years is something we have to continue paying maintenance fees on monthly. All we want to do is utilize the process they've advertised, but because of their inaction and unwillingness to agree that we aren't being ***resented, we are stuck in this spot.Initial Complaint

My mother owns/owned properties with club Wyndham. I have one contract, she has/had 8. She passed away in May. I called to get my contract separated out so I can continue my own membership while dissolving hers. I first talked to someone in title (Im sorry I didnt get her name, she was kind and helpful) I then talked to ****** in facial and he referred me to Wyndham Cares. I talked to three different departments, each telling me the other was responsible for that action. The last department told me that I am financially responsible for all my mothers contracts. I asked to please speak to a supervisor and was told I was not allowed. I felt Bally had to end the call, as the finally representative, ***, continued to say that I am financially responsible for my mothers accounts and that she could not help me separate my contract from my mothers membership. I will call back, but its not right that Wyndham said I am responsible for my mothers contracts.Initial Complaint

They promised us a free vacation if we sat through a 2 hour seminar, which we did. When we got home we got ready to set it up and found out we had to sit through another seminar. This is not what they said. They said if we sat through the first we could schedule a free vacation whenever. During the first visit, it was time for us to leave, and when we were sent to someone to get us out of the building, they would try to sell us the timeshare and we kept getting sent somewhere else and then they would try to sell us to. It was way over 2 hours for us. We have to pay for parking, taxes, fees and this was a total lie. To be specific they promised a promise a 7 day and a 3 day vacation, so technically 2 vacations. The main thing that upsets me is that I was lead to believe something that turned out incorrect.
