booked a ************* bay catamaran cruise via trip advisor, scheduled for 4/13/23, at 6:30 pm, charged for $90. My arrival flight into ************* was on time, but our un-boarding was delayed due to some traffic/congestion at the gate. I still headed to the bay because I was scheduled to get there just on time, and thought I could still make it work. I got dropped off at the pier and ran all the way to the docking gate. I arrived at 6:34 (just 4 minutes after departure time), and the boat was already gone. No prior phone call or anything from the crew/ tour guide to check if i was still going to make it.) I couldnt find the specific tour guide contact #, so on my drive over, I called the main companys phone # to ask them if theyd be able to do anything about waiting just a few minutes for me to arrive. The lady who answered was pretty rude, not only saying No, but also making me feel like an idiot. Saying, just how concerts are scheduled to start at a certain time, this boat is scheduled to start at a certain time as well. After the boat had departed without me, I reached out to trip advisor, who then referred me to viator. The viator rep responded saying they are unable to offer a refund for this booking, because the tour operator was prepared to fulfill this experience on the originally booked date and time, and that the tour operator has been able to provide documentation of communications between you and themselves. The tour operator did NOT reach out to me. I was the one who called them- and it was not even someone that was directly operating the boat. The lady i spoke with was from the main site for Adventure Cat, based in Napa. So the proof of contacting me before departure was false. I am asking for a full refund, because my airplane delay was completely out of my control, and i did not even get ON the boat. It is ridiculous to keep $90 for an event that I didnt make it to, and that would not even give a FIVE minute grace *******
