In June *********************** ********** coming from overseas deployment. My orders to ********** was only for one year and i was scheduled to go to ******* for my last military tour in April **** before retiring. I also needed a vehicle for only one year because I already purchased a vehicle through the military autosource, but was not going to be delivered to my residence until ****.So I needed a cheap vehicle to get me by until June **** when my new truck will come that I purchased already. Upon looking for a cheap used vehicle, the Nissan Dealership sales person, along with their manager told me "It would be better if you do a three year lease on a Nissan Altima". I told them I can not do that since I am being stationed in ******* next year and that I only need a cheap used vehicle for one year. The sales person along with his manager assured me and my wife "When you receive your military orders to go to ********* *******, we will honor that and break your lease free of charge".I just received my orders to report to *******. I brought my military orders to Nissan expecting them to keep their promise. They changed ther story. "We will only honor this if you are going overseas". I was lied to. I asked for the sales rep to collaberate my story but apparently they said they could no longer get a hold of him so they would not entertain my story.Me and my wife were lied to and scammed. I am looking for Nissan in National City to keep their promise to use to honor their deal by breaking the lease. I already have a new truck coming I bought when I was overseas. I do not need another new vehicle. If I knew they were going to lie to me, I would have gone to my original plan of purchasing a cheap vehcile.

    ******,
Thank you for sharing this complaint with us. We always do our best to serve clients well and have a special love for families who serve in our Armed Forces. Nissan **************************** (NMAC) does have procedures when someone is deployed overseas. It is at their discretion and their policy as to the terms used to relieve someone of their lease obligation. This does not change the terms ********************* agreed to in his lease with NMAC. There is no exception we are aware of to relieve someone when they are re-stationed with *****************. Neither the Sales Manager nor the Finance Manager made any statement that we will ..break a lease Both of these gentlemen have been at our store for many years (one has worked for us for over 14 years and the other over 30).They are professionals who know that that is not NMACs policy. ********************** has spoken to both managers involved with his transaction and did not bring up that they said this to him. They both confirmed that they explained NMACs policy when he came into the store to complain, and that we have no authority to break their lease. He was given a trade in value by the Sales Manager and he seemed to appreciate this and was going to talk it over with his wife. ********************** confirmed with both managers that he had ordered a new truck and that he wants to terminate this lease now and purchase that vehicle. We will be happy to buy his vehicle and he can pay the balance due over the amount owed. We wish ********************** well and are willing to help him if he chooses to sell us his vehicle.
    Best,
    *****

This is my response to the message sent by ************************* of Mossy Nissan. He states " We always do our best to serve clients well and have a special love for families who serve in our Armed Forces".

That statement is a lie. I was assured by the sales team of Mossy Nissan that I can use my military orders to ******* to break the lease of the Nissan Altima. That does not support the statement of special love for families who serve in the Armed Forces.

You state "This does not change the terms ********************* agreed to in his lease with NMAC".

I agreed to the verbal terms given to me by the Sales team in which I was assured that my ******* Orders can break the lease. That is a lie.

"There is no exception we are aware of to relieve someone when they are re-stationed with *****************."

This is a lie due to me being assured that I am relieved of being obligated to the lease when I receive orders to *******. I was told by the sales team that I must return the Nissan Altima to the specific National City dealership, hence why the orders to ******* would be a valid reason to break the lease. This does not support the statement of "there is no exception we are aware of to relieve someone they are stationed with *****************. Unless you were aware of it and purposely lied.

"********************** has spoken to both managers involved with his transaction and did not bring up that they said this to him."

That is a lie. I spoke with the managers and told them that the sales associate along with his supervisor assured me that the ******* orders was a valid reason to break the lease.

    ******,
I regret that ********************** has resorted to stating that my response is a lie. Ive in good faith done my best to speak to everyone in the store that has dealt with his situation and the reviewed solutions given. There are several conversations that go on during the purchase of a vehicle, and to protect all parties involved, the transaction is memorialized into a contract that is signed. That is the time to clarify and make sure that all understanding of all aspects of the clients contract is understood. The idea of breaking a lease (to buy a different vehicle) by using a transfer to another state, was never discussed with the managers/supervisors involved. The manager would have immediately clarified that point or done additional research with a lender to verify if a policy is applicable in the clients wish or situation. Regardless, the contract was executed, and the terms he agreed to stand. We are still happy to help him should he want to sell the vehicle to us and cover the remaining balance. Again, I wish ********************** well.

    Best,
    *****

I talked to them beg them to replace the battery and they did it 3 times in the last 4 years. They kept telling me that there was nothing wrong. I have been stranded many times and I have asked them to fix it but they say no.I now have more problems because the *** transmission has gone bad.I just find out the there is a settlement and that there was a warranty extension and recall on those transmissions. They keep acting like nothing happened.I Want help because I still owe so much money on the car and Nissan wants ****. Thousands dollars to fix it. I hope you can get me the lawyer that handled the class act law suit. There is a few class act settlement. Please reply ?? *******************************

I am a little confused as to what you are complaining about. First, we haven't made **** models yet, so is it a 2015?  Is it the battery or the transmission.  Nissan has extended the warranty on certain models for transmission issues and we always welcome any customer whose vehicle falls into that category.  If the battery is still an issue even though you said we replaced it 3 times then we can see if it is another component that is causing the problem other than the battery.  If we fixed it then why do you say we said No?  How many miles are on this car now?  Please clarify what you are actually wanting us to do, so we can address it.

    Thank you,

Not sure if its the dealers fault, but its definitely agains Nissan. I purchased my car 5 years ago and have warranty on my car. I have informed them numerous times about issues with my car. Transmission, which they have has a class action lawsuit against and lost, yet because the code wont show on my car they wont fix the issue, but my car is clearly showing transmission issues. My subframe on my car cracked and the warranty wouldnt fully cover it and would only cover half. Now my ball joint is cracked but Nissan wont cover it because its not cracked enough or leaking. Which clearly it will crack or leak soon enough but they rather risk mine and my familys lives instead of fixing it before. Also the button on my lift gate, the loose part on my rack on top of the car are broken but Nissan wont cover and states its not covered under warranty. I just dont see how a car Ive has for 5 years is falling apart when I take it in for maintenance and take good care of my car. Please help me! This business should be held accountable!
