    Many problems with cabin 314. Stayed 12/11/21:Overall it needs a full update. Dated, worn out everything. Chair + couch sink inches down when even kids sit on them. Stains on furniture. We covered with a sheet so dirty.Sofa bed mattress falls to floor as frame is broken. Tried mattress on floor and large spring coils dig into kids backs. Worst mattress have ever seen - needs to be thrown away no longer has any cushioning. Asked for rollaway beds at 8pm on Friday and told maintenance was no longer working so no access to anything. They gave us 2 extra blankets and said that was all we could have. We had to push blankets and sheets under the couch cushions for a 9 yr old to sleep on top of the couch without the middle sagging down. It still sagged but less so. We had to sleep 2 adults and 1 other kid in what seemed like a small version of a queen in the bedroom. Kitchen has 4 cupboards and 2 drawers. Only thing in them was 4 plates and 1 garbage can. Kitchen has cooktop and fridge and sink. So odd no supplies. No kitchen towel or paper towel or anything. Asked front desk for supplies they said they do not put any out as they all get stolen. Asked for paper plates and utensils and they had none. Microwave is tiny, old, and stained. Tiny single pod coffee pot works and they provided a few coffee pods. But not enough for number in our party for two days. Toilet does not flush fully. Takes two flushes to get everything down. A sign posted above the toilet paper holder says if you clog it you will be charged! Shower head is a hand held that drips loudly when mounted on holder. We had to place it on floor to reduce the noise. Wifi signal not strong Wall blower unit has temperature controls and is loud and seems to only blow cold air although the fireplace works well - we brought our own little electric space heater and used it to heat the bedroom. The chandelier lamp over dining table has broken shade and the chain to pull it on has to be just barely balanced between clicks for the light to stay on. There are no nightlights anywhere. We placed our own flashlight lantern in the bathroom so we could get to it during the night. We managed to get a rollaway bed the second day. That mattress was poor too and also the support frame so we tried to put it on the ground too. We had to request extra blankets but there were many pillows. Front lobby door is locked 24/7 and you must walk up to a window to do all business standing outside in the elements and not under a cover. I appreciate the contactless checkout but staff could be wearing masks instead (they do not) and let guests come inside out of the rain and snow. The restaurant on site is newly redone and is fine dining. The food is excellent but the price point and style does not match the caliber of the cabin in the least. So for breakfast food we had to drive into town. There are no sidewalks and busier road to traverse to get to downtown so it is not as walkable as it seemed. We asked for manager or supervisor each day and told they dont work until the next day. Turns out no manager is on site on weekends. We were told we can call him Monday although we are checking out on Sunday. Staff was nice but said there is nothing they can do about anything as it is only them there by themselves. The clerk on Sunday was only authorized to give us a 10% discount when we complained during checkout (again). We then tried to call the manager ***** with the phone number on his business card on Monday. It would ring the hotel and they transfer you to him, but it transfers to another phone number and you only get voicemail. He does not apparently work onsite. And he does not pick up calls transferred from the hotel. So the cycle of the hotel not getting improved just continues.
