My complaint is there was an error on the registration and it has not been fixed suspending my registration. It has been 4 months going on 5. I notified them Dec 23rd 2022 and it is now april 13th 2023. I first notified them of error and explained to them that the wrong vin number was used and needed to be corrected and i was assured it would be fixed. I've been doing my best to communicate with them but im either ignored or I get some excuse that they will look into it and notify me but they never do. I sent a strong e-mail of my dissatisfaction of how they have handled and communicated to me about the issue today. They responded with that they have the title from the bank and i just need to send them the mileage to start dmv work. So i sent them the mileage. This issue needs to be fixed and that is why I'm writing this. Enough of the excuses and B.S. Fix the dam problem!!! 4 months and counting is unacceptable!!!

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does in a timely manner, I will consider this complaint resolved; otherwise I will escalate this issue.

      Regards,

      *******************************

The Lender is refusing to provide me with my title number for my home state. The lender's AVP: ***************************** responded with, "At this point all further communication will be with your attorney. We will no longer communicate with you." We are under contractual agreement for the lender to provide this information to me within 4 to 6 weeks currently I have been waiting 3 months to no avail.

I am fighting Woodside Credit to process a transfer of plates for a vehicle I purchased and financed through them on August 5th 2022. I requested and was assured the transfer of plates would be done by today August 17th 2022. ***************************** their VP of Titles stated in writing that they would expedite the title and plate transfer. I requested this as I needed the ability to use the vehicle for events between August 18th and 22nd. After numerous emails and frustration. Today ************* effectively told me to jump off the bridge. Stating the title would go through the normal process. I am confident this is in retaliation for my stating I would be consulting my attorney because I feel I am being wronged. They are using a 3rd party vendor called ** Car to complete the transaction, this company is currently running 2 weeks behind to process documents. Without Woodside's request and/or additional pmt to expedite this. I could be without use of my vehicle for ********************************************************************** not. To make matters worse, they have sold the loan to a new lender ***************** in ******. So theres a clear attitude of its not their problem in how they're responding now.

Hi ****************. Woodside Credit has a different perspective on the events that have taken place. Woodside Credit was on the phone with you and your seller as soon as your purchase closed, working to get the title to us as quickly as possible to register your vehicle. You declined a 3-day moving permit during this process, which wouldve allowed you to drive the car for your event. Woodside Credit did not commit to the date of August 17th, and, in fact, you were repeatedly told that Woodside could not commit to that date as we rely on third parties for registration in **, and their turn times are entirely dependent on the speed of the ** DMV. ** Car is a great partner, and you explicitly told us that ** Car would also be your preferred vendor to complete this process. They do great work and were immediately asked to expedite your registration, but our understanding was it wasnt in the way you wanted. Your title and registration were completed on 8/23 and your registration and tags were sent to you via ***** on 8/24. Lastly, to ensure clarity, Woodside Credit does work with partner banks to service your loan, but Woodside Credit remains the lienholder. Woodside Credit is always unhappy when a customer isnt satisfied and continues to ****** strong communication between buyers, sellers, third parties, and our business to ensure a smooth transaction. With 20 years of experience and tens of thousands of customers nationwide, our focus remains on providing top-tier customer service.

The offer from Woodside for a ******* state Temp tag thats good for 3 days was offer to me last week post filing my BBB complaint. I rejected that offer via email because of the concerns surrounding the legality of using a Montana state temp tag in ** for a car that would be titled in **. I was not comfortable with any potential legal issues that could arise if there was a traffic stop or vehicle incident. That being said, the matter is now finally resolved with receipt of the permanent registration and transfer of plates to the newly acquired vehicle. The BBB can close this matter but please note their statement of rejection is not given with proper disclose or context. They left out the dates of the offer along with the reasons given for the rejection. Context matters and its just part of their continued poor practices

Transaction occurred July 30, 2021. Financed a car from this business and put down $55,000 to cover down payment of car and approximately $22,000 to cover taxes and registration. Woodside credit entered into an agreement that required them to complete the registration of the car in the state of Ohio. as of January 6,2022 that has not been completed. I have followed up numerous times only to be handed off to another person and given excuse after excuse as to why they have not competed the registration as per the agreement. This company has held over $21,000 of my money for over 5 months while selling the loan to another financial institution. I have paid insurance on the car for 6 months and I am still unable to use it in any capacity. I just recently requested a refund of my money so I can complete the registration of which i have not received any response. I see this as a very shady practice given they are using my money to fund their business by not completing the agreed transactions and holding my funds.

Hi Mr. ******. The state of Ohio required a document that was needed from *********** *********, (the previous lienholder). We made you aware of that missing item over the past 5 months and even tried to get it directly from the previous owner. Woodside Credit works hard to get customers behind the wheel as quickly as possible and with this being a lease buy-out, temp tags were not required because the vehicle already had a completed registration. The issue has already been resolved and the missing document has been sent to Woodside Credit by *********** ********** This continues to be a top priority for Woodside Credit and we appreciate your partnership and cooperation in getting this resolved.
