    I have severe injuries to my neck and spine. My case was settled but my injuries worsen. I was admitted to the hospital in March of this year for surgery. I had a laminectomy, part disc removal and a spinal fusion. When I inquired about reopening my case I was being avoided. When I went to their office, they gave me excuses why I couldnt speak to the attorney. I still have to have another surgery as well because Im at risk to become paralyzed from the neck down. And they still refuse to speak with me to reopen the case. Every time I reach out they give a reason why the attorney cant speak with me.

    PLEASE Be AWARE: I know now why they call this firm SWEET James, because they definitely TRAIN their employees to SWEET talk a person on hiring them during unfortunate desperate and vulnerable times in a persons life. I was in a severe NO FAULT car accident in May 2024 and this firm ended up with most of the settlement (which I still have NOT received). Leaving (ME) the person who suffered and still suffering with almost ZERO dollars and blaming it on my OWN PERSONAL medical insurance I utilized and (the nerve) to charge ADMINISTRATION fees! I provided ALL the documents, was back and forth with the person who caused the accident insurance carrier and the one desperately always trying to get in contact with someone from that firm (since they switched attorneys on me) that ignored my texts and calls most of the time wasting days to now is claiming and charging me over $1,200.00 in admin fees, what a JOKE! This firm is DISGUSTING and DOES NOT care about their consumers justice!! They have no problem abusing their power and taking advantage of vulnerable individuals. Find a firm with integrity, because you will definitely NOT find with this legal firm!

    This firm ended up with most of the settlement. Leaving (ME) the person who suffered most and is still suffering with almost ZERO dollars and blaming my own personal MEDICAL insurance and administration fees!!? This place is DISGUSTING and DONT care about anything about peoples justice! They have no problem abusing their power and taking advantage of vulnerable individuals. Find a firm with integrity, because you will definitely NOT find it here!!

    I had the same experience as others. This firm ended up with most of the settlement. Leaving the person who suffered most of the injury Zero dollars and blaming medical and representation fees. An elderly couple, with a police report stating that the other driver had assumed responsibility at the scene, a vehicle impacted so hard that it was flipped on its side and witnesses! A slam dunk case. They have no problem abusing their power and taking advantage of vulnerable individuals. Find a firm with integrity, you will not find it here.

    A *********** Sweet James has been working on my case sence12-8-23 and haven't resolved my case let, my check was sent out July ******* regular mail from *********** so I had to wait , and they were even concerned and called the main office where the check was coming from. And now they are telling me I will still have to wait another month before I get my settlement. Can you please contact this law office and try too get them going on accident check. They keep putting it off. I have to live, eat and get around, I can't even rent a car right now no money.     I hired an attorney to help me with my car accident case. they don't care and they didn't help me. the corruption of this place is exhausting. the rudest attorneys I have talked to. How did they end up with more money than me? I am going to the media and I will also file a complaint with the **************** they dropped me as a client, and now I don't have an attorney to help me finish this case and get my money. the worst attorneys in the state! I spoke with *** and *************** who should both be fired!

    I was involved in a motorcycle accident with injuries on 11/28/2023. Shortly after, I hired Sweet James to represent me to go after the other party who caused the accident then hit-and-ran as well. They sent me the initial paperwork to authorize them to represent me. Then I heard nothing for almost a week, despite the fact that I had made it clear to their representative before hiring them that my #1 need was a pain management doctor due to my severe injuries. Over a week later, they STILL had not found me a doctor. In fact, they never found me a doctor & stopped trying after the first attempt. I received almost no communication despite my daily attempts to get status updates. A couple of weeks I was told by the lawyer assigned to me that they were dropping me. Since they hadn't done anything but ignore me to this point, I was fine with this arrangement. So I went out 100% on my own, contacted the other party's insurance company, my insurance company & worked out a settlement for myself ENITRELY ON MY OWN. So imagine my surprise when I was finally going to receive my money only to find out that Sweet James was STEALING part of it, despite dropping me as a client after they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help me. In fact, they significantly injured me more by wasting time I didn't have, especially right before Christmas. On top of all that, I have made nearly a DOZEN attempts to get them to send me the paperwork on my case, including the materials I need to file for arbitration to get the money back they stole from me. And they have COMPLETELY IGNORED every single one of those attempts. Outside of the initial paperwork needed to hire them, they have not sent me a SINGLE piece of paper either physically or electronically. These people are CROOKS & THIEVES, along with being terrible lawyers.

    That was a form-letter generic BS response that didn't actually address ANY of my concerns/complaints.  

    WHERE ARE ANY OF THE DOCUMENTS I HAVE REQUESTED MULTIPLE TIMES THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE SENT TO ME BEFORE I EVEN REQUESTED THEM???

    Where is the $2,600 you stole from me without cause?  

    Telling me you'll "do better in the future" doesn't do me any good.

    "stole" is a matter of semantics.  

    I hired you to work my case, my #1 priority (that I made VERY clear to your staff BEFORE I hired you) was finding me a new pain doctor.  After wasting over a week of my time, you were INCAPABLE of finding me a doctor.  I'm not even confident you tried.  Only a week or two after that, you dropped me entirely.  

    Let me repeat that, YOU DROPPED ME AS A CLIENT.  

    So then, where the hell do you get off stealing/taking $2,600 from MY settlement that I NEGOTIATED ENTIRELY ON MY OWN, AFTER YOU HAD DROPPED ME, when you did absolutely NOTHING for me or my case.  

    You never even sent me a SINGLE piece of paperwork regarding my case after I hired you.  I have requested via phone/fax/mail MULTIPLE TIMES to get all the paperwork relevant to my case and you have IGNORED ME every time.  

    You don't deserve the money *I* earned, WITHOUT your involvement, AFTER you had dropped me, when you had done NOTHING for me but waste time I didn't have.  I massively suffered through Christmas with 5 fractured ribs because of your incompetence & inaction.  So that last thing you deserve is $2,600 of MY money.

    I hired an accident attorney, and I am not happy with the outcome based on the corruption.I dont understand how they ended up with more money then me.

    I have been working with sweet James to settle my auto accident. My case allegedly settled in March, 2023. Sweet James has gone radio silent since I settled on a recorded line with my case manager. I called multiple times and finally was able to speak to *******. She stated ***************** hasnt sent the settlement check yet. 5 months later and a major insurance company allegedly hasnt sent a settlement check and nobody cares to ask where the funds are? Since then I have had nothing but difficulty. Its now incumbent on me to do all the leg work and more than likely ***************** is going to state sweet James dropped the ball based on my experience so far. Im really disappointed with sweet James.

    I was in a car accident which was not my fault. Sweet James LLP accepted my case. I was sent to their doctors and therapist for treatment. Then they said to not go anymore because they werent able to pay the bill. Thats what Sweet Jamess attorney told me. So then they asked me if I could go to my doctors for treatment. I said yes and Im still going. The attorney that was representing me was ******************************* who is a liar. Because of my attorney I had a relapse and was sent back to a psychiatrist and was told that I also need to go to a mental therapist. Im very depressed because of the things ******************************* said to me. He told me that I wasnt as hurt as the other lady that was in the accident. Her name is A *****. He said she had broken bones. But that wasnt true. And then he sent me her medical records that I never asked for. I have no reason for her records. My injuries are horrible. I had to have surgery on my right shoulder and have to have surgery on my left shoulder also but only after my left shoulder heals and I have therapy which my doctor said would take 6 months to a year or longer. I also have spine injuries and chronic pain and headaches. My memory isnt all that great either. So my daughter is helping me out. I am very grateful for her help. My daughter and my brother also spoke with ******************************* because he had me so upset and distraught that I do not want to speak to him anymore. ******************************* is a very hurtful and inconsiderate person and I hope the only other time that I will ever have to see him or hear his voice ever again is in a courtroom under oath and under GOD. Until then I will be trying to cope with my mental illness and my health as well as I can. I am a 65 year old woman with many disabilities. And one of them is because of ******************************* attorney at Sweet James LLP Law Firm. Hopefully theyll dismiss him before he ruins someone elses life. Much more to say but not enough characters. Thank You.
