Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint regarding my recent experience with an online order placed through 1800flowers.com. As a service member of the US Navy, I wanted to send a prayer plant to my grandmother, who recently turned 82 and was hospitalized. Unfortunately, the plant arrived late in the evening and was poorly presented. My grandmother, who has cared for over 500 motherless children and holds numerous accolades, described the plant as "dead flowers," which was disheartening, especially considering her fragile condition post-coma.Upon contacting the local Conroys that processed my payment, I was informed that another Conroys fulfilled the order. I explained that I placed the order on 1800flowers.com and am not concerned with the internal processing details. What matters is that I paid for a service and did not receive the quality expected. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told that the manager, *****, would be available the following day. Despite following up the next day and speaking with the manager, who requested photos, I have yet to receive a refund or satisfactory resolution.This "pass the buck" mentality and lack of accountability are unacceptable.
