      I received a parking citation from seal beach mailed to my po box on 10/5/2021. I am a travel nurse so I didn't retrieve till a few days later from my box. The citation claimed that ou n 9/12/21 that i parked without paying which is absolutely not true. I arrived at seal beach and parked between 3:45pm - 3:50. This was my first visit to seal beach. When i got out of my car, there was a guy there a few cars down from where i parked checking plate numbers. I walked over to him and asked him where was the machine to buy my parking ticket. I walked right over. It took several minutes to get the machine to read my credit card so then i ended up using my debit card. I retrieved my tickand placed it in my windshield. I sent in an appeal via online with a copy of my bank statement showing the charge. I paid for 3 hours a total of 6 dollars. Of course I cleaned my car out a couple weeks later and threw away the ticket. I received a denial stating my statement does not show the time of purchase. I have gone to my bank and got a print out of the charge with the time noted. Which the billing address is and time are both central standard time. I believe besides there being a problem with the machine I also believe the machine has a glitch in the system. I was clearly charged and paid for parking aand even left an hour earlier. I should not have to pay another 64 dollars for parking I paid for once. I hate to think that this kind of system is the reason we have so many homeless people in this state. 64 dollars buys groceries and could cause someone not to be able to pay there rent. This is unethical and should be against the law. I this time i am awaiting response to my 2nd appeal. I called the number provided and could never get a live agent on the phone. This whole process is ridiculous. Im sure some people just pay to avoid wasting time and money. But something needs to change. We already pay enough taxes.

      Received a parking citation from the city of hawthorne in June with two violations. One for partially blocking a driveway and another for expired registration.I sent the citation center a check along with the ticket with a correction signature done by CHP showing that I did have registration, just forgot to put it on given the ***** situation. I sent in the ticket along with the payment for the blocking driveway + $10 fixit fee. After cashing my check in full, roughly a month or two later they send me a citation for $140 regarding no current license fees! I tried calling them and no surprise, their automated system told me they could not have someone talk to me because they were busy. Basically, they want me to just pay the $140.Completely unprofessional.

      The payment and sign off were received and processed, however the postmark date was 7/27 and the due date was 7/27. At this time, the $140.00 balance on the citation is due.  We will have a customer service representative call you to notify you and answer any questions you may have.

        Never got a response or reach out via phone call.
      Secondly, the response doesn't make sense. Representative admits payment and proof of correction was received on time, by being postmarked by due date with the correction sign-off received as well yet they still want to charge me $140?
      I tried reaching out again but the automated system will not allow me to talk anyone. Mentions that the representatives are busy, directs me to pay online and hangs up on me.

      Unbelievable experience thus far.

      Our apologies for the typo in our response.  The due date was 7/15 as outlined on the first notice that was mailed, but the documentation sent in with the payment was postmarked 7/27. A customer service representative contacted you on 11/1 and left a voicemail.  The issuing agency has reviewed the citation and also confirmed the proof of correction was late.

      I mailed two checks to ************* citation processing center for citation RB020011733. 1st check for $50 was cashed on 9/29/21 . 2nd check for $80 was cashed on 10/15/21. Following an administrative investigation, ************* *********** sent an email to citation processing center on 10/7/21 advising I had in fact paid the parking meter and that I should be fully refunded. On 10/22/21 I received $80 refund. To date, I have not yet rec'd the $50 refund. On 10/26/21 I again called the citation processing center to query the status of the $50 refund and was told they show only the $80 refund owed/paid. ********, the rep, told me the their system reflected that the citation was upheld and therefore I am not entitled to the $50 refund. I advised him that was incorrect and have asked for a Manager to call me....again. Each time I call the citation processing center I receive different information. All I want is my rightfully owed $50.00.Their processes are suspect (how does a latter check get refunded and not the earlier/original check)? Why do I receive different info literally each time I call?Far too much of my time has been spent correcting the mistakes of others!

      Citation #HT050059881 Date:06/17/2021 Amount; $48-00 I submitted the payment twice in error. Sent a request for reimbursement by mail over a moth ago,to date no response. Attempted to call on several occassions but very challenging to get through. There is a credit balance of $48.00 on the account. I need that money to be returned to me ASAP.Thank you

      Today a customer service representative called your callback number to process your refund request and left a voicemail. Please call back at ************ to verify previous payment details so a refund request can be submitted. 

      Utilizing the automated system you can enter your citation number including the **** prefix as well as the citation time to enter the call queue. 

      The second option is to look up your citation by notice number and zip code "1230126256".

      If you have difficulty using the automated system to look up your citation using either of the above options, you can choose the option "3" when prompted to indicate you have been unable to successfully enter your citation number and be sent to the call queue.

      I tried calling this company and get more information about the citation I got but I couldnt get in touch with anyone. How do I know this is a real office and not a scam trying to get money? My notice number is TW1230925452 and the citation number is IE0006001. I don't leave in LA so I don't get how I can get a citation. I need more information in order to pay for this.

      The citation referenced was issued by the ******************* on 8/6/2021. Instructions on how to pay or appeal the citation have been provided on the notice sent on 9/15/2021, TW1230925452. The notice mailed also outlines the timeframe for payment and/ or appeal of the citation.  

      A customer service representative attempted to call the number provided within this complaint, however there was no answer and the voicemail box was full.  Any additional inquiries on your citation can be made by calling ************.
