I paid D**** ****** with 8 Figure Solutions $12,000 to develop a Scale Strategy and Marketing Plan to launch on-line family caregiver support solutions via 21 day Self-Care Challenge; Master Class: Aging 101; Master Mind and Inner Circle on-line programs for families to better understand aging, dementia progression, caregiver burnout, and the value of an Aging Plan. I have asked MULTIPLE TIMES for him to produce the "plan", the deliverables I paid for. He refuses to answer my questions, he refuses to submit the deliverables he claims he has completed. I have not heard from him for a week. He has taken my $12,000 and is gone. These programs were to start launch in November. I have nothing to show for the money I paid him. You will see his invoices toward the end of the attached packet that he has 2 different addresses. He couldn't get his payment processor to take my payment so he split it up into smaller payments and used his other business, D*** ****** Copywriting as another invoice for payment. You will see my cover letter which outlines key issues and why I feel I have been scammed. I have also submitted this packet to Chase Visa Fraud Dept.

      Business response

      01/28/2022

As I've shared the news with friends, I'm getting that eyebrow raise of approval that says, "I'm not one to compliment anybody unless it's in order to get them to do something for me, but I can't hide the fact that I'm a bit impressed"

When I thought about it, however, I realized that all I did was sign up! You guys are the ones who have the connection with Google. I'm just the guy in the limelight hogging all of your praises, so I figured a "Thank You" was in order.

Now, on to the good stuff....

I'm assuming this next part, a rebuttal to the accusation from A****** *******, is written to be viewed publicly. If that isn't the case, I would greatly appreciate it if you would kindly let me know the audience so I can respond appropriately.

A****** ******* came to me in an apparent panic with no root cause.

She told me she had a blue ocean offer, and I told her that I didn't have knowledge in her industry, but she said that she was okay with that.

Initially, she wanted a project that was much larger than she realized, which wasn't too unusual. It was, however, strange that she was adamant about 4 specific projects that she didn't understand. It's unusual because people who want an order such as hers, which was a VSL (Initially referred to as a "Mastermind") that pushed people into a 21 day challenge that pushed people into an actual "Mastermind" group and a funnel for her business that needed to scale, are usually either aware of the intricacies of the projects or they're open to advice.

I told her, after much discussion, that the 21 Day Challenge had to convert, and seeing that she didn't have:

           1. The content developed

           2. An audience in mind

           3. The want to pay

           4. A business ready to scale (which I hadn't assessed at the time)

           5. Any experience in running events such as these

and I'd already explained to her that 8 Figure Solutions has ways to turn weaknesses into strengths such as using a self-liquidating case study to not only test the material's effectiveness & bring in extra start-up money (as "self-liquidating" had proven to be an underpromise in the first 2 times the case study had been attempted, with  a client upgrading to a full funnel in less than half the anticipated time and the other resulted in the guy opening a new company due to the success (Me. I was the second guy)) but also develop a large pool of leads for the 21 Day Challenge, and finally that she didn't want to pay more than $5k before seeing a return, I suggested the only option left, which I would have started with regardless of finances, and which has still only had success.

      I suggested the case study.

She didn't like the idea, but decided to trust me with a $5,000 deposit out of the $7,000+ due, to move forward.

The next day, she asked me to help her business scale, and was shocked that it was going to cost more money.

As we proceeded, there were issues at every step. There are 3 times, I have the emails and messages to back this up, that I contacted her multiple times about moving forward from the current step, only to have her call 4-5 days later and say that I was "ignoring her".

It was interesting to see how quickly she went from extreme anger to,  "Ooops! My mistake! How silly that was."

Now, keep in mind, she only purchased the case study's landing page and 6-8 emails based on her content, and a basic scaling guideline, and those projects were to be due "In November".

If you notice, even if the due date were to be set to the earliest possible date, November 1, 2021 is in the future. As in, I'm writing this on the 29th of October, 2021.

Also, A****** has not paid for the service necessary to turn the content into a 21 day challenge
She hasn't paid for a Social Media Marketing Campaign
She hasn't paid for a coaching course to be developed
She hasn't paid for her mastermind to be developed
She hasn't paid for the podcast appearances she wanted me to get her on
She didn't pay for the message development for a public appearance campaign she wanted me to develop
She didn't pay for a book funnel
She didn't pay for any of the 19 other items she expected me to complete
She hasn't paid for any outline of the plan for her funnel that she wanted built:

                           "Mastermind" > 21 Day Challenge > Mastermind

Don't get confused.... "Mastermind" is a 1 hour video while Mastermind is a year long support system

She also wanted us to get year-long, high-ticket clients for people with terminal parents, yet insisted she wouldn't be able to make any sales unless we built the system in the normal business to onboard people whose parents are in a "Critical" (Definition is not medical. As best defined on the project, "Urgent" meant that the parent('s) of the prospect we're beyond having the cognitive functional ability to pass an entrance exam to be placed in a facility).

She also sells a service that is offered all across the country free. She sells it for a lot of money.

I came up with a business model that she said would "Never Work" that ended up being exactly the same concept as a successful program called "A place for ma".

A****** won't hear when I tell her other people have the same service as her for free, so I haven't verified how exact the 2 offers are, but the "Matrix" and "Phone Calls" that A****** did were both covered by the other offers running for free.

I did go into more detail examining the offers, and saw no significant differences through a fairly close look.

Finally, 2 weeks ago I told A****** that I was ready to wrap the projects up, and I needed to know if she wanted to call it quits or if she wanted me to continue, as it makes a huge difference in the work-product.

For 6 days, I asked which ending she'd prefer, and I received no relevant answer. Terrible things, like, "I'm going to church tonight, Davd. I'll be praying for you" were said, but I'm still not sure what the final reason for her anger is.

I last emailed her explaining that I wasn't sure why she was upset, as her wishes and my wishes seemed to align, but she had stopped responding.

That's where the situation stands, as per my understanding.

      Respectfully

         - D*** ******, CEO

      Customer response

      01/28/2022

I am rejecting this response because: I did pay D**** the $12,000 he invoiced me for.  I didn't know on our initial call that he could also help automate and scale businesses so I agreed to that service package as well.  He refused to provide me (refer to the forwarded emails I sent the BBB) any actual content/project (sales funnel, etc.), despite several emails requesting to see what he's already accomplished for the $12,000 I paid him.  Rather, he emailed me and requested $3,000.  I told him on our initial call I am looking for a long term relationship because I have multiple projects I wanted to launch.  I never heard of "blue ocean" before--those are his words.  He obviously didn't do his research because a Place for Mom only offers Placement---zero planning, no family meetings, no care coordination, no Grab and Go binder (making sure families have all of their affairs, legal docs, insurance policies, etc. in order) and, a Place for Mom/Placement agencies ONLY work with private pay people, they ONLY refer to facilities they get a kickback from, they ONLY work with certain levels of care.  They are NOT competitors to me at all--our services are totally different and our fee structure is totally different.  Our clients come to us in crisis--and families are scared, overwhelmed, burned out, and realize they can't continue as is---they need an Aging Plan and a neutral person to facilitate family meetings in order to explore current needs/options and long term care needs.  Phase I of the project with D**** was to evaluate what current automation tools we use and then make recommendations to scale the business...that was one of the service packages ($7,000) which was paid (as you know because I also submitted the paid invoices and proof of payment from my credit card) and the other project (the initial project I hired him to do) was to create a sales funnel for on-line courses so families can learn how to take care of themselves as family caregivers, learn how to develop their own Aging Plan.  D**** has all of my proprietary information I sent him right after I retained him because yes, I wanted to get these courses launched.  The pandemic "woke" families up and made many families realize they don't have an Aging Plan and with the nation-wide shutdown on travel and healthcare, families were panicking about "what do we do with mom".  I had a sense of urgency to get these programs launched and, as D**** is aware, Nov is National Caregiver month so I wanted these launched in time to recognize the family caregiver.  The 2 criminal attorneys I consulted with informed me most scammers keep the scam at $20,000 or under because most consumers won't pay the legal fees to fight it, so the scammer goes on to the next person to scam.  D**** was paid for what he was supposed to deliver in Phase I but he did not produce any work product, despite multiple requests. The items he mentioned in his "list" were to be part of a long term on-line marketing plan.  D**** told me he was confident he could get $+30,000 as a "high ticket" sale for the mastermind and he claimed he could get several thousand dollars for the Caregiver Boot Camp.  I knew then that he was all talk and totally unrealistic.  And I found him on LinkedIn.  And I disagree that business owners already know about sales funnels, etc....as a business owner, we excel at what our specialty is and retain others to help us with areas we don't have time to manage or areas that are not our strength...that's why we hire attorneys, CPAs, companies to manage payroll and invoices.  I've never been scammed before but thankfully, my credit card was refunded the $12,000 so at least I've been made whole again.  The attorneys I spoke with suggested to file the complaint with the BBB and the credit card company and if no resolution, small claims court.  Glad this worked out how it should have.

      Regards,

      A****** ******
