I have tried to order sandals online for my husbands birthday twice. Both times I received an order confirmation email and was charged. A week later with no shipping confirmation I had to call support where they told me both times that my order was canceled. The most recent person I spoke to was a bit rude as well, basically telling me it could be any reason as to why it was canceled, and any issues I have with being charged I just need to discuss with my bank.Review from Jillian S

I wish I could give ZERO stars!I bought a pair of Birkenstocks less than 60 days ago. The back ends are completely splitting away from the soles. The kicker.. Ive barely worn them. I contacted Birkenstock expecting them to do right by my purchase (spent over $120 for these) and to my surprise, they are willing to do nothing. I dont want my money back, I want a pair of shoes that arent falling apart. If their brand is that well designed, I cant imagine why they wouldnt want to replace them for me. Im so disappointed in their lack of customer service. I wont be supporting their business any longer. Im just glad I didnt purchase the other 2 styles yet.Review from Joel B

I bought a pair of sandals from Birkenstock and got a pair that was one size too big (their sizing is way off). I returned them and ordered a new pair. Well, still waiting on my refund and the second pair I ordered never arrived. Still waiting to get the replacment pair from birkenstock. Whatever you do, do not buy online, their service is awful.Review from Joan M

I paid $25 extra to receive 2 day shipping. Birkenstock reneged on that option and changed it to 3 day shipping, pretending it was really still 2 day shipping. This customer support group is anything but!You have many other vendors to choose from for Birkenstocks. This outfit scores very low marks in my book for customer service. My advice: shop elsewhere where you can get the same product, along with genuine customer care and support.Paying these guys extra money in an effort to expedite shipping is like pouring money down a rathole.Review from Missy H

I purchased a pair of Birkenstock sandals exactly a year ago, but they were only worn around my house for a period of 6 months. In that time the cork was sealed twice with a kit I purchased directly from Birkinstock. When I got them out this year, I discovered cracks in the same spots on both shoes, and the glue was coming away on one strap. Of course this is unacceptable for such an expensive pair of shoes, but *********** customer service seems to think this is entirely reasonable and offered me no solutions other than taking them to a cobbler on my own dime. They literally told me that it was expected that some people just may not get more than a year out of their shoes! I am flabbergasted. I have since discovered that this is an incredibly common flaw in the Mayari style, yet not only do they continue to sell them, they refuse to stand behind the known issue when it arises. When they could have had a customer for life, they now have a disgruntled and highly disappointed one.Review from Miquelle S

It's been two months and I'm still waiting on my refund. I had to dispute with Paypal and if that doesn't get approved, I'll be disputing with my bank. I was confirmed to get a refund in December as they have received my return item in their warehouse. I was given a timeframe of 2-3 weeks which would have been mid-January. I have given them plenty of time. It's now March and I have not received my refund nor any communication with the team. They have a very bad way at handling customer inquiries and having customer trust. I would NEVER purchase from here again.Review from LIANE V

Ordered sandals on 12/15 for Christmas. On 12/19 I called to see why my order was still listed as processing. I was told the order was set to ship that day and would definitely arrive before Christmas. On 12/20 my order status was still processing so I called again and was told my order had be cancelled due to low inventory. I was never notified of this. There were plenty 5 days ago. Awful, awful customer service with representatives who dont seem to have any problem lying to customers. I understand out of stock, short staffed, busy time of year. I dont understand letting me hang there, thinking everything will be fine and not telling me the truth. Now I have to wait for them to process my refund.Review from Jill W

I had been waiting for 2-3 months for my size of the Boston clog to come back in stock. I finally received the email that they had been restocked and placed my order immediately. I was so excited when my order arrived and I immediately opened it. I was incredibly disappointed when I opened the box to a pair of sandals. I contacted customer service to initiate a return and exchange where I was told the item was once again no longer in stock. You cannot find these shoes anywhere so it appears that Birkenstock can no longer meet the demands from their own website nor the companies they supply. I was offered no consolation other than an apology and was told I would still have to return the incorrect item in order to receive my refund even though I will not be getting my item I ordered. This is poor customer service and I would definitely not recommend ordering directly from the Birkenstock website. They are not the only authorized dealer and IF you can find them elsewhere that is reputable I would advise to use that option. I probably will never try to order these shoes again and am just so disappointed at the outcome of this purchase.Review from Timothy M

Incredibly disappointed in the options to rectify a product the company knew was not wearing correctly. Paid $120.00, the shoes began to degrade after 1 week. The company offered $15.00 discount to keep them and said if they exchanged them it would happen again.Discredited my opinion. People should know they have no recourse when they buy from Birkenstock!!!!Product: ****** Felt
