Saw advertisement price for Toyota Sienna XLE HYBIRD and drove 50 miles to dealership to buy vehicle at advertised price.Picture of the advertised price, vin number, dealership stick in vehicle showing price and $10K dealer **** up.I have my own financing through Navy Federal pre approved for 36 months at 1.79%.I would like the dealership to honor their advertised price of $43,459.Business response

I filled out a request for a quote to purchase a Toyota Rav4 Prime in the Oakland ** area. I choose Downtown Toyota, ************************************************************ as a dealer to work with. I got a call from a sales person who told me they weren't marking up the price of MSRP and advised me to go in person to the dealership to get a current deal they had that gave customers an employee discount. But I needed to get there by the end of the week to receive this discount. I couldn't so I had my girlfriend go there. When she got there she told me they raised the price by $20k. $10-15k more than other dealers I had spoke with. This was with the employee discount and false info on not marking up MSRP. Also, I requested to talk with a manager but none called. Instead I kept on getting calls from sales people, and the dealership to make appointments. I had to eventually block their calls. I have recorded one of the sales person's calls with me complaining and asking for a manager to get back to me.Business response

In July I was looking to purchase my 1st car. I saw a used 2021 Subaru Impreza online at this location listed for under $19k. I test drove the car and liked it. The salesman informed me of all the added features of the car (none of which were listed online) which brought the price up to 23k. We negotiated back down to around $20k. The salesman was well aware of my budget because I am a full time student also paying medical bills from an accident earlier this year and thought he was being honest and receptive. I agreed to put $7k down which I thought meant I would finance the remainder from $20k. Never did the salesman say the actual final price was $30k. I never received this breakdown from finance while signing and only received a breakdown of the additional gap coverage I wanted which pushed the price back up to $23k. Again, never stating this was the price after $7k down. I feel taken advantage of because they were well aware of my budget and knew it was my first time buying a car.Business response

I purchased a vehicle which I fully paid off about one year ago. The price of the vehicle was $54,000.00. I paid by cashier's check. The vehicle was supposed to be under my name; however, the finance ***** made an error and did not transfer the vehicle to my name. At this point, I am trying to sell my vehicle. It is a time sensitive issue because I will be leaving the country for vacation and when I return, I may not have a good offer as I do now ($53,000.00). I contacted the business to fix the error; instead, they further complicated it and made an additional error after I explained the circumstances. This has extended my time to sell the vehicle for 30 days. I would like the business to either fix the issue ASAP or when I sell my vehicle and it does not sell for $53,000.00, I want them to cover my loss. This loss would be because of their errors. I have the appraisal for the vehicle.Business response
