I sent them over 60 items in very good shape, many new with tags. Less than half were deemed sellable, and the account posted regarding my "payout" was a total fabrication, showing that they had paid me the pittance allocated as my share of the purchase price. It's a scam.Review from Anna R

I wish I had read all reviews first but I didnt even think that. I sent them about 8 bags and got paid only $30.00. DO NOT USE ThredUp. My clothes were nice and I got so disappointed, this company is a SCAMReview from Jessica L

Sold my clothes using their services, and never got my payout. I requested a bank transfer and havent seen anything for weeks. Cant even call customer services, they want you to pay them to make a transfer to their customer service.Review from Ta L

They stole several hundred dollars worth of clothes from me and claimed they never received them. The app encourages sellers to decide whether or not they want their clothes back AFTER theyre processed, but once clothes are processed you cant opt into that service. So they encourage you to waive your rights to retrieve your clothes and then still pretend you didnt send in big ticket items so theres no paper trail. Its super predatory. And thats not even mentioning that their compensation system is so crooked its not worth attempting to sell your clothes yourself. Someone shut this company down.Review from Anna M

ThredUp is a consignment scam and they need to be investigated. I sent in a cleanout kit of over 40 items that was eventually deemed "lost in transit". I'm not sure how a huge green polka dot bag gets lost in the modern mail system but it was futile to follow up on it because **** blamed *****, and ***** blamed ****, and ThredUP blamed both of them. To resolve the problem, ThredUp issued a $35 credit to my account. I used the credit to purchase 3 items and the total came to $3.16. I was satisfied with this resolution until 2 weeks later when I realized the items were never delivered. I contacted ThredUp about the status of the tracking and they told me it was "lost in transit" and they "graciously" offered to refund the $3.16. How convenient for them. Do not use this website- it is unethical and a total waste of time.Review from susanna c

I sent them a "clean out" bag..aptly named...They definiely cleaned me out...A ******************* bag was "not sellable" as per them...and just conveniently disappeared...never to be heard from again...where did it go...??? hmmm...Also, the items I sold went for a dollar or two..something ridiculous...they get $15 you get maybe .50, if you are lucky and at the end when I asked for my payout..they claimed I had to pay for the cleanout bag ($12.99!!!! I was not aware) ..which ate up all "my profits"!!!!! So basiclaly I gave them a donation of new clothes that I could have sold elsewhere...Shady tactics and no customer service to speak of...I cant imagine why???...they couldnt possibly handle the amount of complaint calls. Be very careful here...you are better off donating clothes to a charitable org. which is tax deductible...Review from Katie N

I sent in a bag of clothes. Once my items were up for sale I was disappointed to see I'd only make 80 cents to a couple of dollars off each item. All of my items sold but 1. I had the choice to reclaim but unsold item but I'd have to pay a $5.99 fee & another $10.99 on top of it...seriously, the items is mine? Why do I have to pay to get it back? So I didn't reclaim it & waited for my pay out. & that's all I've been doing...waiting for my pay out which I'm finally figuring out won't be coming. Threadup took all of my clothes & gave me NONE of the money I earned. They already took their cut & then took what was owed to me in an additional fee. DO NOT send your clothes to them! I will no longer be buying from them either & supporting these thiefs!Review from Susan J

I sent in a bag of stuff and a wallet was sell for $3 or so. No one bought it so now they are trying to sell it for $52.99. There was also a fossil hand bag they listed for less than $10.00 now trying to sell it for *****. This is a bunch of c*** and if I wanted it back they would be 6.00 to return and I'm missing things I sent off and wasn't listed.Review from Bridget L

Do not use ThredUp. Please. They will rip you off. They steal your clothes. You are basically just donating your items. If you are going to do that, just use a local goodwill etc.Review from Denise H

Absolutely a rip off. I'm sick over it. They keep the items that don't sell. I can't reach them to see how I claim my money. Never never use this company. It's a complete scam.
