I don't want to give any stars for this facility. My dad has been in this facility for over a month recovering from open heart surgery and the care that they are providing him should be documented. The staff didn't know what they were treating him for. They have given him the wrong medications and thank goodness he is alert and knows what he is supposed to be taking because that could have ended up bad. If has contracted MRSA while in their care. Some of the staff refuse to assist my dad. I have called and left multiple messages to speak with anyone apart of his care team and I have not received a call back yet. I was lucky to talk to the nurse in charge and she gave me her personal number for if I ever have questions or concerns but when I text her she doesn't even reply. The medical doctor who went to see my dad was very disrespectful and was clapping in my dad's face because my dad had questions that the doctor was not answering. When they noticed the sore on my dad's leg they did swabs to send to the lab but nobody sent the swabs off to be tested. Then he was supposed to get wound care but had to sit with the same bandage on the so-called MRSA sore for almost 5 days. It took me calling up to the facility all day before someone went in and changed his bandage which was ordered to be changed every day. We didn't find out he had MRSA until 11 days after they discovered the sore. Before that, my dad was complaining about his legs hurting and being swollen but nobody addressed the issue until they noticed the would dripping down his legs. This place is so not where you want to send your loved one for care because the staff is just there for a paycheck and I feel like upper management is the same way. Now that my dad has MRSA they put him in a room with another gentleman who is bed-bound and the poor guy has to sit in his f**** and urine for hours before someone comes to tend to him which my dad being in the bed next to him has to smell.
