I had solar panels installed on my roof for about 7 years now with the first company that switched over to solar spectrum, I am a paying customer to mosaic. Now I am facing problems with my roof leaking and I have been trying to find contact information for solar spectrum but it is out of business. I no longer know who to contact about repairs or help with removing some of the panels to allow for the repair. I'm not sure why I should continue paying for a service that is no longer providing me with anything. We signed our contact in 2017 but the company went under in 2018. Their sales tactics felt aggressive. That was our first red flag. The second red flag was that their app that never gave a report on how much energy our panels have been generating. Months went by and I have got any actual number on how much it was generating. They kept making different excuses. Now we have leaking from the roof where the panels are installed and most likely the reporting has stopped to the power company. But the company is now under and there is no way to contact if we need any servicing. So we are stuck making payments to Mosaic (who feel just as unethical) for services that are not currently being met.Initial Complaint

sungevity originally sold and installed solar install financed thru mosaic, then they belly up and solar spectrum took over now they too have gone sideways so who now owns the warranty which i still have many years on?? if it is no one then why am i still paying mosaic for payments when the original contract is no longer valid i want either to know which company is now responsible for the warranty repair or i want the loan voided due to breach of contract.Initial Complaint

The previous house owner purchased home solar system from Sungevity in 2016. The inverter shows "Riso low" and the *** led is red; the system is not generating power. Tried to contact Solar Spectrum who purchased Sungevity, not getting any response. Looks like Spectrum solar is no longer in business. In the Summer of 2018, we purchased a solar system from Solar Spectrum. They provided the equipment and performed the installation.Today we have a leak in our roof under one of the panels, Solar Spectrum went out of business (and renamed themselves Sungevity also in **********) so we have no warranty on the system and no way of removing and reinstalling the panels because no one wants to work on a system they did not install due to liability.Supposedly, Sungevity contracted a company called Palmetto to provide maintenance on previously installed systems but ******** told ** they no one in ************* to help us out and thus they cannot do anything.Do we have to sue ***********************Initial Complaint

Hi,Recently, I checked up on the production level for my solar panels (solar edge) and to my surprise no energy has been produced all month. I tried to trouble shoot remotely with a solar edge rep but told me to contact an installer. Unfortunately, Sungevity/Solar Spectrum is out of business to honor warranty for repairs/replacement. I am demanding sungevity/solar spectrum to find a solution. I do not know who to contact without paying out of pocket. I have a case number and error codes for you to look at. We would really appreciate any assistance. I purchased my solar panels from Solar Spectrum LLC in Dec of 2019. They provided the design and then installation. As of Dec 2021, my panels have stopped generating energy. NO one from Solar Spectrum notified me that the problem is the inverter which needs to be replaced. Fast forward to May of 2022, and as I investigate why my electricity bills was so high, I found out that I need a new inverter to be shipped to me and installed by contractors. All of this information should have come from Solar Spectrum but didn't. And now I'm stuck with trying to get a new inverter through Solar Edge and then getting hold of someone from Solar Spectrum to come install the new one. In the mean time, I am being charged for electricity of over $700 because the cost is not being offset by my solar panels as they are not working. None of the numbers or emails from Solar Spectrum are working. I believe they've been purchased by another company. This new company should have my information and should have contacted me about the non-functioning inverter. Solar Spectrum should have provided their customers with forwarding information of the company that acquired them. I need to know what company is accountable for Solar Spectrums customers, so that I can contact them to come out and install the new converter. And for this company to pay for my electricity **** of $763.39 for the past 5 months when my panels have not been generating power.
