    My name is **** ******* and in July of 2024 I started a mobile detailing business, ******************************. When I was starting up I was looking for designers for my merchandise, logo, website, ext. I was contacted by phone by a company, 'Pace Digitals', also going by '************', which offered to do all of my design for free, under the agreement that all of the content created would be under my sole ownership and rights, if I then used *** company for my website design and merchandising. I paid an initial amount of $544.91 for website design, and an additional $758.94 for merchandise (I later found the merchandise were all purchased through Vistaprint and upcharged significantly). My first indication that something was wrong was shortly after completing the website, I was quoted over $1000 for a yearly 'server fee' and quickly packed up and ran, taking my website to a private hosting service and *mostly* severing ties with the company. We had a few other interactions over the past several months regarding free website edits which were included under contract when I purchased the website design initially. I then recently had an issue where my marketing materials, which ask the customer to complete a ****** review, with a ** code printed onto them linking to my review page (which were purchased as part of my design and merchandising through this company) suddenly stopped functioning. I then contacted the company which directed me to an agent who told me it would cost no less that $350 to 're-activate' the ** code, which by now I have printed on thousands of business cards and door hangers, amounting to several hundred dollars in printing costs, and integral to my business structure. I refused to pay this ****** and the fee was changed to $100, which I also refused since it should have been Free, and the charge went up to $200 out of spite. This company is extorting me for money by ransoming my ** code back to me for arbitrary dollar amounts.
