On Feb 11th 2025 Best Bay Logistics *** contacted me about a potential route for 20 days thats starts on Feb 14th. **** ******** from Best Bay Logistics *** emailed me a carrier packet, I filled it out and emailed it back (this is standard with every company). **** said each route is $450, so I purchased 2 routes. **** emailed me who to Zelle the money to as he stated this is to assure to there client they are serious and ensure smooth collaboration. I then Zelled $450 on 2/12 and $450 on 2/13 a total of $900. The 14th and both of my trucks was at the location provided at 8am. 8am came and no one new the company by the name of Best Bay Logistics. I called **** over 10 times, no answer. I then emailed him at 8:07am 9:37am then at 11:48am est. No reply. **** finally replied back at 3:28pm est stating. They caused serious problems on there side internally and they are working on a refund and will refund our money on Feb 15th.. I reached back out on the 15th at 4:56pm est regarding our refund. NO reply back. Then i tried to call but it looks like I was blocked. I then called the company on file where I researched them. Its the correct company but they said they don't have anyone working there by the name of **** ********. I then asked where they are located and they hung up on me...Business Response

Unfortunately it seems that you have been the victim of a scam that is not related to Best Bay Logistics. I can confirm we do not have an employee by the name of **** ********. From the documents you have shared it looks like the fraudster is using the email domain @************************** . This is not a domain that is associated with Best Bay Logistics. Any communication from Best Bay Logistics will only come from the email domain @************************** . Furthermore we would never ask for payment from our carriers to gain access to loads or routes. Our IT team is reaching out to the company that setup domain @************************** and informing them that the domain is being used to impersonate us and to ask for removal of the domain. To prevent issues like this moving forward we always recommend confirming email domains, addresses and contact information. For at least a year now, these people have been calling ** at least once a month trying to get us to use their shipping services. We have repeatedly asked that they stop calling us, to no avail. The last time we spoke with them, I warned them that if they continue to call us, that I would be reporting them. They called again this morning, and I notified them that I will be reporting them, so here I am. As far as resolutions go, I just want them to stop contacting us.Business Response

We have had multiple attempts from this company trying to solicit our business. I have told them to remove us from their mailing list but they persist. I have also asked for them to provide where they are getting our information from so that we can address it with the source, but they refuse to answer that as well. Every time our plant gets a new phone number, they call and ask for our business. When I started in this position they emailed me a day after my email became active. We have expressed concerns that they may have access to personnel data and I will be reporting this to our internal information security team. We have many different company and agency contracts that we have to protect and if there is a leak in our information security we need to know about it. The email that came to my attention was from a ************************************ Their domain being ********************************** The mail server address is ************. Company refuses to STOP emailing me and others at our company sending unsolicited requests for us to give them business. They started by emailing me - when I asked that they stopped they started inundating our website, employees and even our phone line/voice mail with requests for us to give them business. We have no business to give them - and do not want to be contacted by them. I replied today to an email asking them to NOT email me anymore. They replied with a second request for me to give them business. ***IF*** I ever came across the kind of business they are asking for - I'd NEVER NEVER NEVER call them. Best Bay Logistics has been sending email to multiple addresses at Wesco for over six months. We have asked multiple people at Best Bay Logistics to remove our email addresses and to stop emailing and calling Wesco, but they continue emailing. We're normally able to mark such email as spam, but their email continues to arrive unhindered probably because they use multiple people to email us. If this situation can improve with the help of the Better Business Bureau, I'd appreciate it.Business Response

This company has been advised to stop calling our business, we are not interested in another freight brokerage! They continue to call from all different numbers in the USA! Just for starters they have called from ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### - I have asked to speak with management to get us off their calling list, and they would just hang up on you! Best Bay Logistics is harassing our company for business. They have outsourced our phone number and we are unable to block them. They call a minimum of 5 times a day. Today when we asked to speak to a manager the rep swore at our employee. We have this number. We simply want Best Bay to remove us from their list and stop calling immediately. The logistic is charging outrageous price... I try to resolve the problem. They never answer my phone call... I hope they don't put me to collection agency after a certain month and state that I don't to pay the bill...Business Response

We have repeatedly requested Best Bay Logistics to place us on a Do Not Contact list. We've asked them repeatedly to stop calling our offices and emailing our staff. We used their service twice about two years ago and were displeased with their service. They have called and emailed relentlessly since we decided to not use them. They call multiple times a day and send several emails from different representatives. It is non-stop, sometimes 10 calls a day. We've tried asking politely and we've tried being firm. We've left them negative business reviews on Google and threatened to file a BBB complaint, but this has not deterred them from contacting us several times a day. We cannot change our office numbers or email addresses. Their constant harassment is a major disruption to our business and we are tired of begging them to stop.Business Response

Best Bay contracted with my company Fruta Royal for freight rates on a USDA grape bid to food banks across the country. They were award the freight lanes they won on 6/15 for a total 450,000 of freight business. On 6/23 they emailed and called and said they can not honor those rates.
